Campsites are on a small horse farm located just 4 miles from downtown St Augustine and 5 miles from Vilano Beach. Many hiking and water activities within 30 minutes. You select the space you where you wish to set up camp. The entrance off the dirt road is tricky for large rigs or trailers more than 35' may not have easy access. Our sites offer potable water, a shower, picnic tables, a toilet, wifi, trash disposal, space for campfires, and we are pet friendly! We can accommodate tents, RVs, and trailers. Our guests love staying here: "Camping at Gayle’s property was an amazing experience. We shared the field with 3 other campers but there was still plenty of room between sites. Land is flat and has fire pit spaces and BBQ grills. Outdoor shower was appreciated even though we didn’t use it & it was great to have the port-o-potty on site. The best part was getting to see the animals!"

Our two level (full hookup) RV pads are on beautiful Anastasia Island within walking distance to the Atlantic ocean, Pier Court Park and the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Anastasia State Park is within a mile. St. Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions three miles away. Each pad has its own furnished patio and small green yard space. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions. We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 28' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. We accept small Class A Motorhomes (34' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island. We are LGBTQ friendly. This was a perfect spot for exploring St Augustine while being tucked away in a very quiet, peaceful setting. The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating. Our 33 ft skoolie fit inside the yard with room to spare. The site was very safe, secure, and well lit, which made us feel very comfortable going outside at night. We rarely venture out of our rig at night, so that was a welcome change of pace. We liked it here so much that we extended our stay! If we pass through St Augustine again, we will definitely return to this awesome spot!!

The hosts are exceptionally nice. They greeted us with a welcome packet with many helpful resources for the area. The site is well positioned for exploring St. Augustine. The neighborhood is quiet. Both spots at the site are in front of the house, so if you wanted to be tucked away that is something to consider. Definitely a good option for a place to stay in St. Augustine.

We have been full time RVing for the last 5 years and this is one of the most welcoming places we have stayed. Jeffrey was there to help us get set up and he really thought of everything we might need, including letting me borrow a stepladder so I could temporarily repair my windshield which cracked on our way there. We will definitely try to stay here again!!

We had a lovely week at Anthony's property! It was so peaceful and relaxing, yet so close to all that St Augustine has to offer. Anthony was helpful and accommodating, and went above and beyond to help us get our 40ft rig parked in a nice spot. I would highly recommend this wonderful retreat!

Weekend Trip to Sunset Escape Farmstead

This place is absolutely amazing. Holly is the best host and her property is gorgeous. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet relaxing beautiful spot to get away. Far enough away from downtown but also close enough if you want to make a run. Loved the property, the trails and the animals. The dock and the boathouse are too cool too if you don't want to camp. Lively sunsets and cool breezes. Quiet and very much one work nature.
