Hunter Springs is a great little park with a beach area for swimming and kayak rentals too. There are also several Diving with the manatee tours available. This is all only a short drive from camp. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, pontooning just five minutes away, or just relaxing back at the camp. Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore Crystal River. We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year. Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, Mexican restaurant, Brother's Pizza and Beef O'Brady's. Firewood is available on site. Lynn’s land was perfect for our week long stay to visit family in Gainesville. The property was so quiet and peaceful. It was far enough from the city that we could see so many stars at night but close enough that it was just a 15-20 minute commute in and out of town. Lynn and David were also incredibly nice when we crossed paths. We will definitely be returning here for our next Gainesville visit. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I stayed in David's cabin for several nights & we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was cozy, but spacious enough for the two of us. It was very comfortably heated, which was great when the weather got down to the 30's overnight. The water was hot, perfect for the shower & washing dishes. But the thing that made this place special was being near the water & watching the many birds. We saw sandhill cranes, ibis, coots, ahinoules, & galinules here. We would definitely recommend David's place!

If you were thinking about it, just book it. Had the best time with my family. Joshua answered very quickly when I messaged. I just recommended this to a friend who booked his own stay for his family. The RV was insanely cool, the grill is full size and a perfect addition. Joshua really thought of everything. You only need to bring what you want to cook with. There was a little coffee station, utensils, and pots and pans. The fireplace was a great touch just maybe buy some extra wood and babysit the fire for a little bit, which I didn’t do so it kept going out. Other than that, can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at Neal's Nest twice in the past month, as a stopover on our way to visit family in Georgia. Because we were several family members traveling together, we rented an RV site as well as the little cottage. We felt like our host, Tina, has created a really lovely little camping spot. It's quiet, clean, and she's added so many things to make one's stay enjoyable - from the sensor light that comes on at the gate, to the inviting fire pit and grill area, to the volleyball net. The cottage was probably a shed in a former life, but she has really made it a guest cottage. The bed was comfortable, the shower was large and had plenty of hot water, and everything was spotless. We enjoyed having a peaceful cup of coffee on the cottage porch in the morning. We'll definitely be staying here again.

I planned a last minute camping trip for the weekend with my family. Our host was very polite and a fast communicator. My kids favorite part was petting the animals and enjoying the campfire. The camper was warm and cozy. Everything was as stated on the pages description. No scary surprises, although I would recommend bringing your own Bluetooth speaker if you plan to watch a movie on the projector or check with your host on quality of his speaker before purchasing. We could barely hear anything on the little speaker he brought out to us. I was last minute though , so I probably got the last minute campers speaker. I’m just glad the host was generous enough to get us in on a short notice because we got to make memories that will last a lifetime 🫶
