Jessica is extremely nice and goes above and beyond to make sure that you’re happy and doing well! They do their thing around their place but never intrude unless asked a question. It is obviously a working farm so don’t take offense to them doing things fairly close to you. Overall easy access, strong power supply and water with sewer as well which was nice if needed. We are fully self contained and didn’t need. Highly recommend!

Super bougie spot to Hipcamp! Not sure they understand the nature of Hipcamp yet - very new. We were the only pop up travel trailer. This is more of a RV park. Amenities are amazing. Guests very welcoming. No communication with host via Hipcamp once booked - did not know which site was ours, the gate code, etc. Happened to run into a guest who once worked the office and she helped us.

We booked this site on HipCamp and were very pleasantly surprised. The check in wasn't exactly smooth as after we booked (office had closed) we weren't given a code to get through the gate. We had to wait there and finally got someone on the video at the gate and he came and opened it (very doubtingly....we should have gotten a code...we explained we didn't get a code but had our receipt!) Anyway, after that little fiasco they pulled us into a beautiful site and the park is truly beautiful and pristine! The laundry facilities are immaculate and so are the sites. We only stayed one night but would sure come back!

Our first stay with HipCamp and it was great! Jessica was very friendly and easy to work with. She met us when we arrived and helped us get to the spot (it was after dark when we arrived). Jessica also provided us with recommendations of several local restaurants and things to do. The campsite was exactly as described. So quiet and very peaceful! We enjoyed just relaxing and watching the cows and donkeys. Also met a very friendly young cat. Within driving distance to several springs. Also only about a 25 minute drive into Gainesville. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our well-maintained campsite is a big, open area with full sun, surrounded by trees which give you plenty of shade if preferred. It is quiet and dark enough for you to hear the wildlife at night! The primitive backyard campsite rural, secluded and easy accessible, the spot is 20 feet wide so you’ll have enough space for your motorhome to pull in. We, the owners, will be your neighbors (on the same property) so we can assist you with your needs. Right now what we have available is a 20 amp extension cord and a water hose. You can also run your generator. THINGS TO DO The wildlife management area is a one minute walk from the campsite with the buford and eagle nest springs inside. There is also a distillery (NJoy Spirit) on site. Seven Sisters springs are a ten minute car ride away. You can rent a kayak or a canoe to go out and see dolphins, turtles, alligators, manatees, snakes, deer, various birds or even bears. Other springs in the area are Hunters Springs, Rogers Park and Three Sisters springs. Crystal River is a charming, historical town 25 minutes north. You’ll pass Homosassa and their State Park (the oldest Hippo Lu (65) lives here). At the waterfront restaurant ‘Crumps’ you can watch monkeys on an island! Dames Cave in Lecanto is about 17 minutes from here with multiple caves to explore. The famous Weeki Wachee Springs State park is a 15 minute drive south highway 19. Howard’s Flea Market is the largest in Citrus County, 10 minutes north from the camp site. ‚Adventure Flg X’ is a fun Zip Line park in Brooksville. Rainbow River Springs is an hour north from Twin Pines. The park has beautiful scenic trails and a water temperature of 72 degrees year round which invites you to explore the river in a tube or kayak. The Weeki Wachee preserve is another beautiful, close spot worth visiting. Disney World, Legoland and Universal Studios are within two hours. The cute little town of Cedar Key (25 minutes away) is on the Gulf with lots of shops, restaurants, a boat ramp, fishing pier and even golf cart rentals to cruise around town on. The Tiki Bar at Low-Key Hideaway is right on the water and has live music every weekend. We also have the beautiful and scenic Chiefland Golf and Country Club about 15 minutes away where you can golf and dine. Our small town of Chiefland is only a 12-mile drive and has shops, dining options, a Super Walmart for your groceries/supplies, and a flea market that is open on the weekends. Our little town also has several thrift and antique shops for you to browse.
