Turkey Hollow is a 10-acre farm with pigs, chickens, turkeys, goats, and a sheep who thinks she’s a dog. (All roam the property except the pigs.) All of our critters are rescues and orphans whose original owners could no longer care for them. We’ve worked hard to give them a happy place to live and play. Come join us on a “critter crawl,” where we take the goats, dogs, and sheep for a walk on the trails and feed them their favorite treats.

This serene campsite, surrounded by pine trees, oak trees, palmettos and Spanish Moss invites one to a session of peace and tranquility. One finds vehicle access via unpaved, flat sandy terrain. The level space has one electric plug and that was all I needed, perfect for this outing to compete in a local disc golf tournament.

Karen’s Hipcamp was absolutely perfect! There was plenty of room to easily park our rig and truck. Being Pet friendly was a huge plus. Loved being able to walk our pup without having to worry about traffic driving by. The site was clean and level.
We stayed for a game at UF and it was a quick trip over to the stadium. It’s also close to a bunch of hiking areas - We really enjoyed Paynes Prairie State Park.
Karen was friendly, informative but also gave us our privacy. We can’t wait to return!

Very unique and cozy place! They have everything you need! Laundry, kayaks, a grill, mini fridge , dishes and cooking utensils and pans , and right on the water! Dog friendly and hosts are easy to contact and very accommodating! We will be back to manatee landing retreat! We loved it!

Jessica is extremely nice and goes above and beyond to make sure that you’re happy and doing well! They do their thing around their place but never intrude unless asked a question. It is obviously a working farm so don’t take offense to them doing things fairly close to you. Overall easy access, strong power supply and water with sewer as well which was nice if needed. We are fully self contained and didn’t need. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time staying at Grazing Oaks, we didn’t want to leave! We were a party of 3 adults, two kids under 10, and two dogs traveling in a 30ft trailer. The RV sites are well spread apart, making the experience more exclusive to the travelers. We stayed right across from the horse stables, and got to meet the amazing staff that tends to the horses, as well as learn about them. We were in the area to scuba dive at Blue Grotto and Devils Den (just minutes away) and will absolutely be reservation again for our future dives. Although both dive locations have full RV hook ups, the laid back feel and exclusivity offered at Grazing Oaks Ranch will keep us as repeat customers.

We booked the RV spot at Manatee Landing Retreat for Mother’s Day weekend, and even though the weather was mostly rainy and cloudy, it didn’t rain on our parade! In fact, having the place mostly to ourselves made it feel like our own private oasis.
The tiki hut was a total game-changer—giving us shelter when the rain did come through, and a cozy place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. When the sun peeked out, we made the most of it with kayaking, bouncing on the trampoline, and exploring the beautiful area with our dogs, who absolutely loved it.
Even with the clouds, the peaceful vibe and thoughtful amenities made it a weekend to remember. We can’t wait to come back—hopefully with a little more sunshine next time

This is a charming spot complete with all the amenities to enjoy the river. Having use of the kayaks, fire pit and bbq made it feel like home and interacting with the other guests made it even better. Would stay here again.
If your vehicle is wide or you are not super confident backing up this space may be intimidating and it is difficult to use the dump so we chose not to at this spot. If you have a van or smaller camper there should be no problem.

What a gem! This place is a water, nature and plant lovers paradise! Launching your kayak (or there a LOTS to borrow) from the property takes it to an entire new level. The fire pit, tiki hut and grounds are great! Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Weeki Watchee! PS - I saw manatee, dolphins, turtles, every bird imaginable when I was there in early April. The trick to be out of the crowds is go up ABOVE Rogers park toward Mud River. I’ve done all of Weeki many times and this was by far my favorite!

We had a great trip to this Hipcamp! There were lots of animals there, you could make a new animal friend! My girls loved petting the horses and feeding the cows and ruby treats. We even learned a lot from the trainer on the property. Also, there’s a zip line and a swing! The trees were breathtaking and the property was beautiful! Oh and even some fruit trees on the property. It’s always a pleasure being in the middle of nowhere. Frank was helpful when we arrived and we even met others who were staying to enjoy s’mores with. The weather was magnificent too. Would def return!

Great spot! Our 17ft van fit perfectly, with plenty of extra space. It was awesome having access to the kayaks and being able to launch right from the property. It was also walking distance to a few good restaurants if you aren’t feeling like cooking.
