We have it all here at Seminole Springs. We are open for tent camping.First come, First serve. We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. Each unit comes equipped with its own hot tub. (To book any of these units, just send us a message and we will reserve it for you. The prices for these units are different than that campsite and glamping site prices.) The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Very secluded and private overlooking the spring on one side and the water fall on the other. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. Just go a little bit further until you see the sign for Camp Seminole Spring. Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek. Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim. At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

Stay by a lovely pond on 33 acre fruit and ornamental tree nursery property with great vibes. Located near I-75 just 20 miles South of Tampa, 35 miles east of Saint Petersburg, 35 miles North of Sarasota, 2 hours West of Orlando. This property is home to a farm/nursery operation and has a large pond on the west side. The pond is Spring-fed at the headwaters of Marsh Branch Creek which begins at our property and flows West about five miles in to Tampa Bay. Approximately 33 private acres allows for plenty of space between our campsites. Property is home to a farm with hundreds of fruit trees- Lychee, Mango, Starfruit, Papaya, Guava). Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants. Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too. Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand. Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas. The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish). Several species of wildlife have been seen on the property. We think the property is lovely, and definitely want you to enjoy your camping experience!

The park is also open to hunters and fishermen with permits. With so much land to explore in this National Forest, we wouldn’t be surprised if bigfoot was hiding in there!

Our RV and Tent Campsites are located in a grassy field next to dense woods. Electric and water hookups are included in the RV/Camper sites, but not the Tent Site. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Our newly renovated restrooms on the property have toilets and one shower. A boardwalk takes you along the Cotee River to our two open air pavilions with several places to sit and enjoy nature. Cell phone service is not a problem, as we are not remote (although it sort of feels like we are when you are here) - we are 5 min from downtown New Port Richey, 2 minutes from groceries, gas, restaurants. This beautiful slice of Old Florida is named for the Pithlachascotee River that bends along the back side of the property. Pithlo is the Creek word meaning canoe, and chaskita means to dig or chop out, together signifying "place where canoes are chopped or dug out". Seminoles of this area used canoes dug out from the great cypress trees found along Florida rivers. From the 1980s until 2014, this property was owned by the Cotee River Lions Club. They held a popular monthly pancake breakfast fundraiser in the large pavilion along the river. We purchased this 4.9 acres of land in late 2019. It is now where we live and have a woodworking shop. It has been a magical place for us, with no shortage of wildlife, rich jungle forest, a winding narrow river, and even the occasion river otter sighting. We are grateful to all the humans who have occupied this place over the centuries before us for keeping it as nature intended it. It is our intention to do our part to conserve and protect its natural beauty as long as possible. We hope you find it to be as restful and rejuvenating as we do.

This area is rich in history and beautiful nature.With over 1/3 acre of dedicated riverfront property on the Santa Fe River, you’ll have all the peace and quiet you can handle in this single spot campsite. The campsite was purpose-built for friends and family who come to visit this slice of paradise we call home. Ideally located in the heart of spring country in North Central Florida, we have over 18 major springs within a 50-mile radius of this location, which allows for all the outdoor exploration and watersports you desire. With tubing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, and fishing available within feet of the campsite, you can stay nearby or venture out to some of the best springs in the world. Boaters – Private boat ramp is 200 yards up the road on the Santa Fe, public boat ramps within 10 miles on the Santa Fe and Suwannee rivers. Tubers – Tube the private section of the crystal-clear Ichetucknee river accessible only by the homeowners via our 3 waterfront parks. Both get-out parks are within walking distance to the campsite for your convenience. Our property is not too far upstream from the Myakka State park, and parking is never a problem. ;-) We have a beautiful homestead, and you have the choice of a furnished camper with water and power hookups in our pasture, or 2 primative tent or RV spots on the edge of a beautiful stand of Live Oak trees and Sabal palms along the river. We have a porta potty on site that is regularly maintained. Bring your family, bring your dog, bring your friends.....and don't forget to bring a fishing pole!

Very nice campsite to enjoy nicely wooded sights and short walk to the water from r v site. The primitive sites are along the water bank, and the water was gorgeous, almost crystal clear. Clean bathrooms and showers and even complementary coffee As well as canoes for rental and plenty of barbecue pits to use. The entire campground was totally infested with wildlife which was beautiful to see and hear. Some of the largest pilated woodpeckers, i've ever seen. I recommend this site for those that enjoy the river, and want a little peace and quite. The host was friendly and gave a great tour of the grounds, then left us alone which was perfectly to my liking.

1 night at Cotee River Bend

The sites are great with ample space. The facilities were clean and nice. The hosts are communicative and provide clear and ample instruction. My absolute favorite part was the walk to and sitting under the pavilion by the river. I loved the beautiful wood furniture to relax in. I meant to ask, but wondered if the owner had made the set himself. It’s hard to find campsites with power in this area, so this was great. If you’re tent camping, site 2 has a huge tree which kept my 10 person pop up tent in almost complete shade all day! The only downside I could find in my weeklong stay was the road traffic when using a tent. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend sleeping in your vehicle or earplugs. It’s not that this road is very busy, but it is near larger Little Rd. I would certainly stay here again. Thank you Laura & J.R!

A wonderful place with great hosts! There is truly so much to love and this is a great find as many area campsites don’t have electricity.. My only recommendation if you are a light sleeper and staying in a tent, would be to sleep in your vehicle if that’s an option or bring earplugs. The road itself isn’t bad, but there were some very loud cars on a nearby road the nights I stayed. I would 100% go back!

Weekend Trip to J and P Creekside Retreat

The property was beautiful and spacious. John was an amazing host! We had a spot by the water which was amazing, and it was also close to the bathroom and HOT SHOWER!! The kayak/paddle board rentals is a nice touch. This kids enjoyed bouncing on the trampoline, laying the hammocks, and climbing up to the platform in the trees. We will definitely be coming back and cannot recommend enough!

Weekend Trip to Camp Seminole Springs

I liked camping here extremely friendly hosts and campers. Very beautiful property and the spring swimming hole was excellent. There's also a sand blow or quicksand that is Def work checking out. Convenience was great really close to dollar general and gas station. Traffic from the hog waller or maybe just traffic was going through out the night tho only area of concern. Overall great stay.

Great spot in the Florida woods! April was amazing with tons of recommendations for paddling and things to do on a rainy day. She even provided us fresh eggs from her chickens! Loved the privacy of this spot, it was perfect for our pups who do better in camp spots without other dogs/people. They had room to roam freely and safely. Would return again!

Great little spot for us visiting legoland but feels like it could be pretty packed if all of the spots are booked as they are right beside each other. The animals were a nice add-on being able to see them and pet the goats when they were out.

Rebecca went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a pleasant one! The property was beautiful and the river was wonderful! Rebecca made us some yummy bread. That was so nice of her! We really wished we could’ve stayed longer but will definitely be back!

April was super friendly and accommodating! Loved the laid back atmosphere and kayaking was the best. The springs are so pretty and even swung from a rope swing and saw a gator. How cool is that? The site was clean and had everything we needed including wildlife. It was great and glad we went!

My daughters had a great time with the paddle boards and kayaks. It was a comfortable site for the RV. And the location was great as it was near everything needed. Will definitely be back a few more times as the river is so clear and so close to Roger’s park etc..

Great place for tent camping near the water. There are also cabins and RV sites, but the two primitive sites are right on the Sante Fe. Great views and easy access for kayaks and paddle boards or just fishing off the shore. The rooster crows every morning, and there is all kinds of wildlife to see. We saw an owl and a badger on this trip! This place is an actual slice of heaven, and the hosts are always friendly and a accommodating.

We had a fantastic stay at Bowman's River Landing in RV Site 9. The site was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for our overlanding camper setup. You can tell they truly care about the property. Recent improvements like the upgraded fire pits and common grill shelters really enhance the experience. Peaceful setting, great amenities, and a perfect base for exploring the area. We’ll definitely be back!
