Having our own canoe to explore the water made the experience even more special. The evening was just as magical, sitting by the fireplace under the stars. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they put a lot of care into maintaining the place — everything was spotless and thoughtfully set up. Sandra and Joe were great! Sandra was quick to respond to messages. They were very understanding when we had RV issues and had to arrive after dark. Joe came out and helped with the gate and letting us know where to park. The grounds were beautiful. Our dog was very welcome there. Definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Honey's place is an amazing little oasis in the heart of Miami. I was not expecting it to be as beautiful and serene as it was, but it exceeded all expectations!! John is not one of those hosts that is snooping around your campsite, but he is always reachable via message, and that makes him a great caretaker. The grounds are very clean and the location is within a 15 - 30 min drive to most attractions or major locations in Miami. My wife, mother in law, and I, loved our time at honey's place and can't wait to go back!!!

Very pleasant stay amongst the old growth avocado trees. This was a fantastic stay for us as we like minimalist camping (overland conversion, rooftop tent) We have our own water, power and ability to cook however bathroom with running water is the one thing we still at times depend on. We got both with this site, as well as a tour and some mangos from our wonderful host Joanne. Will definitely stay again.

Eileen and Jose were lovely! Eileen met us at the front gate of the driveway when we arrived. She was very kind and welcoming. Their home is absolutely beautiful with a lovely brick driveway and a beautiful gravel spot. The area of their home was one I felt safe in. Eileen and Jose made sure we had everything we needed to make our way night stay on the way to Miami a good one. The driveway is a little narrow but nonetheless, we fit and had a wonderful stay! Would highly recommend Jose and Eileen's spot!

John’s property is gorgeous! I can tell he’s passionate about it and wants his guests to have an amazing experience. If staying in summer I would definitely recommend a tent fan or cooler of some sort as the weather can be extremely humid. My fiancée and I loved the pond and the fish in it as well as all the little lizards. His set up with the lights and mini-beach under coconut trees is breathtaking! I hope to be able to come back sometime 😄

Unwind Island was the perfect spot for my 37-foot trailer—easy access, smooth hookups, and plenty of space to settle in comfortably. 1 night at Miami Crossroads

We spent our first night in our RV in Miami at Jose & Eileen’s place! We loved it after a long day! Loved their cool pool and garden area! Just to chill before our 4 week adventure began! Very welcoming and even received a parcel for us before our arrival! Helped out with an extension cable adapter! Thank you so much!
