Jonathan and Jennifer are very pleasant and easy to work with. The spot we had was spacious for our 18 ft travel trailer with slide out. They have a playground and plenty of acreage though we didn't walk through the woods. They had a fire ring for our spot as well as our neighbor's. The area is private, but you're only 2 miles from the town center of New Milton, which is cute.

It was such a sweet spot—perfect for a quiet get-away and within driving distance of some spectacular food! The hosts were excellent and responsive. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Jonathan was so welcoming. Their place is so big,he made us choose were to camp since there were no other campers.Although we didn’t need the toilet its nice to know that its available when needed.Took a peek of the camp place on top of the mountain it looks so nice and private i just can imagine during spring to early fall how beautiful it would be,just came a little late of the season,but still were so thankful of our one little quiet friday getaway,our dogs love the place and its nice that they could be off leash.Lots of woods fr fallen trees to use for firewood.So far still the best hip camp i stayed this yr #1. Will definitely comeback someday and recommend it for hip campers. Thanks jon and jen for sharing your camp place.

Both the Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming and Stonecrop Gardens are only about 8 minutes away. 15 minutes to the west, poised on the Hudson River is the historic colonial town of Cold Spring, with shopping, lovely restaurants, plenty of natural attractions and a picturesque riverfront. 30 minutes northwest is the more bustling hipster vibe of Beacon with coffee shops and live music venues, and 20 minutes southeast puts you in the heart of downtown Peekskill with Hudson Valley MOCA and the Paramount Theater. Designed as a retreat for the modern creative, the cabin is fully off-grid but features Starlink Internet, a compost toilet and heat / AC. We do provide 5 gallons drinking / cleaning water, but during the winter no sinks or showers are operable. Nearby towns (Kent, CT / Wassaic, NY) have awesome art, shopping and plenty of food options as well as easy access to the Appalachian trail and Macedonia state park. 15 minutes from the Wassaic metro north station, the cabin can be reach by taxi. The cabin is accessible by car, but may require a short hike in after heavy rain or snow. This cabin is part of the Offsite Camp family (www.offsite.camp).
