We began this venture in 2012 by purchasing 35 acres overlooking a 7000 acre homestead that was sold to a developer who is selling acreage from 35 - 500 acre parcels. We are located on the beautiful eastern plains of Colorado southeast of Denver. Rolling hills dotted with Ponderosa pines that encourage wildlife to settle in. Pikes Peak, Longs Peak and Mount Evans are all visible on clear days. We have 35 acres and raised alpaca’s until recently, chickens, cats and dogs as well as a large garden. We are totally off grid and enjoy life in the home my husband built using trees he cut down and milled on his sawmill. We lived on the property in a 400sq ft cottage while building the house. We have numerous camping spots available in a small grove of Ponderosa Pines or on the plains if you want a clear view of the stars at night! A rustic outhouse is available close by as is a water hydrant. Parking is available close by. We added the Bijou Tree House to our options a couple years ago! It is a one room cabin (sleeps 2on a queen size built in bed) with an incredible picture window that frames Pikes Peak beautifully. It is nestle among some old Ponderosa Pines; sports a cute but tiny wood burning stove; bar table in front of the window; deck with seating and a propane camp chef 2 burner stove. A hammock is available for use and private outhouse just a few feet away. We love sharing our story, our home and the beautiful place God has gifted us with people from all over the world and hope to host you as well. Come Camp and relax. Watch and listen to the birds; the deer and antelope really do play here. Just this morning two little fawns were chasing each other through the gully. We are blessed with beautiful sunrises and sunsets; stars at night and an added bonus is our Farm Store where we showcase products made from our alpaca's, and trees my husband has cut down... !

She was centrally located in a nice area between all the places we needed to be during our time in Colorado. I would definitely stay here again if we get a chance to come back. We had our 4 cats with us and they did really well in this quiet area.

Sabin and Randy were very friendly and helpful. The site is quite funky, as others have reported. I think if you’re attending a concert (which we were not) at Red Rocks, this is the perfect spot. For us, the lack of an installed toilet was a problem as it was past service and rather unpleasant to use. The shower, on the other hand, was very nice. For the nightly cost, we would recommend that Sabin and Randy install a regular toilet to enhance the stay of their guests. We did enjoy walking around the area and into town for dinner.

This is our third stay at this beautiful site. The host is fantastic. Great communication and an easy process. Property is lovely, campsites tidy and level, plenty of shade. The farm animals are a delight including the beautiful horses. We also saw lots of deer and a variety of birds. We will be back later this summer for a fourth visit .

Really great communication. Friendly hosts. Perfect location 3 minutes to downtown Morrison and 5 minutes to the Red Rocks parking lots (when there’s no traffic). Right across the street from Mt Falcon hiking. I thought the property is great for the price. The shower was a huge bonus and we would definitely stay here again.

Campsite 5 is on the left side of the driveway approximately 100 yards from the entry. Campsite 5 is between campsites 3 and 6. It is across from the petting zoo where you will see donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We have one rooster in the petting zoo so you won't need to bring your alarm clock. Lol

We had a great time on Teresa's property! She was an amazing host to us and our children. Our kids for hours and hours fed the donkies, goats, and horses. We were joined by dozens of deer throughout our stay, a long with some turkey. Great piece of nature, hard to believe its so close to I-25. Nice for little get aways and a quick drive for food or grocery, if needed. We'll definitely be back! Thanks again, Teresa!

We loved camping at Standiford Goat and Equine Ranch and the host Teresa was great. Once we booked the communications was top notch and provided directions to our campsite. The place was clean and safe. We stayed at Site 1 50' Dry camp backs to pond which provided a good view of the property. It was off the road so no road noise. Our 30' 5th wheel fit in the spot just fine but site 2 would have been better for larger rigs. The camp is between Denver and Colorado Sprnigs which provided a great central location. We spent time dirving Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, and Seven Springs (after talking to the host - great suggestion). If we are back in the area we will definetly stay at Staniford Goat and Equine again!
