Located just 18 minutes from Grand Junction off Little Park Road. The camping spot has been graveled to keep you off the dirt and mud when parked. The views are wonderful as the sun sets to the west over mountains. We also have a fire place for the evening fires as you are resting. We are located within minutes from biking, hiking, and four wheeling. Several trails are within minutes such as The Ribbon Trail Head, Bangs Canyon, Tabeguache Trail, and Gunny Loop just to name a few. This spot has electricity for your camper and is located on about an acre of land below the residence giving you peace as you stay.

Mick’s place was great, very quiet, beautiful sunsets and Mick is very helpful, kind and accommodating. Loved the goats, chickens and horses. The location outside of Fruita and near 18 Rd bike trails is excellent for peace and quiet, but close enough to enjoy Fruita! Highly recommended, I would definitely return!

We had access to the whole yard. This allowed us to find shade when it was so hot. Water, 30 amp electric service. Nice level gravel to park the trailer. Loved the site. Expect to use it again in the future

Our family popped in to the Near Fruita Homestead (Mick's land) to bike for a few days on a cross country road trip. We couldn't have been more pleased with the hospitality. Mick greeted us right from the get go, made sure we had everything we needed, and was available for any questions we had. Hook-ups worked great and our 20ft trailer fit perfectly into location. 10-20 minutes from all the best riding! Would recommend it!

When I joined HipCamp Devrin’s campsite was exactly what I hoped to find.
High up on the Mesa above Grand Junction. Isolated and beautiful. One and only site with 360 degree views of the uplands.
Really well maintained with a huge flat gravel pad - fire ring and table and the bonus of electrical shore power. Super easy access to both the property and the site.
The surrounding area - Grand Junction - Fruita - Palisades - has everything you might want for an adventurous or relaxing break. Challenging canyons to gorgeous wine tasting. Allin all it was so good I extended by two days and will be back.
And finally Devrin was a communicative and helpful host. Six stars if I could give it.

Great spot up on a bench away from busy Grand Junction. Nice private camp spot. Lots of deer and birds around. Kind of close to the main road, but it wasn’t really busy to bother a person. Met Devrin when we showed up and he is a really nice person and gave us some advise to view the Colorado Monument.
