My husband and I bought this property in 2010 after selling our beach house in California. We have adapted to mountain life with the change of seasons and so much wildlife here in Colorado. I even had a close encounter with a bear! It was about twelve feet away from me; we looked at one another and I said, "Oh, hello." After several seconds it simply turned around and walked away. I was surprisingly calm and so was the bear. We frequently have deer and elk visiting our property along with squirrels and chipmunks. We especially enjoy the hummingbirds that show up in May. I created a garden with their favorite flowers so they have their own little sanctuary here. We have a seven-year-old chocolate lab names Yogi who loves people and friendly dogs. He loves to go on hikes and swim in lakes.

Easy access to drive up to Rocky Mountain National Park. We are located in an agricultural area, corn, hay, sugar beets are farmed on a large scale. Our neighbors, Miller Farms CSA and farmers market, are one of the few remaining vegetable farms in the area. Small lake within walking distance. Pet friendly. 110V (very minimal at 15 amps) power and potable water available. Please arrive no later than 8 p.m. to check in. We are a working farm and get up early and go to bed early. Nestled in the back of our property, accessible via a horseshoe-shaped driveway, this dedicated camping spot awaits you. Please note that a 4WD/high clearance vehicle is essential for winter access, and rigs over 25' will not fit. We have a nice long pull-in with full hookups on our one-acre property. It is fully fenced and we are happy to accept pets. We are in a rural neighborhood setting and my husband and I do live on the property in the small green house you can see in the photos. Rollinsville Adventure Camp is a 5 acre slice of the Rocky Mountains, perched at approximately 9,000 feet above sea level, in the shadow of the nearby Continental divide. The property features towering pine trees, beautiful aspens, and is surrounded by national forest on all sides. The campsites are all located within the safe confines of a gated, five foot fence that surrounds the property. The property once served as a Llama Ranch. We have repurposed the old llama loafing shed into a common area/ lounge area where any guests are welcome to make use of the space, which includes a 2 burner gas camp stove, a refrigerator, and a propane gas bbq grill. There is also a gas fire pit on the patio at the Llama Lounge for guests to enjoy, as well as a hammock, hanging hammock chair, and a picnic table for guests to utilize while enjoying the common space of the Llama Lounge.

The trailer was perfectly safe if he had to leave during the day. It was the perfect spot for peace and quiet after his work day.

Weekend Trip to Rollinsville Adventure Camp

My friends and I had site 5 and 6. There’s a slight slope but not bad at all compared to some other campgrounds I’ve been to. Our two dogs loved the area and enjoyed the space as much or more than we did. There are only two picnic tables to share among the 6 sites. This wasn’t an issue for us since we had the place to ourselves. The gas grill was nice to have. There is a shower hooked up to a hose. It’s not potable water but would work for a rinse off if you’ve been hiking all day. The potable water pump wasn’t working while we were there, but I let Ed know so I’m sure he’s on it. Also the little structure area was so nice for late night card games. The lights in there were much better than using our camping lanterns. Overall we really enjoyed it and would probably go back because the dogs enjoyed it so much.

Enjoyed camping on their property, especially the proximity to copious amounts of hiking trails! We didn't get to meet the "neighborhood bear," but heard plenty of other wildlife such as coyotes, elk and the last night brought us a beautiful hawk!!! Doggoes loved the openness and explored every inch of the property.

We loved our stay at Rocking Martini Farm! It was easy to get to, and the camp spot was private and quiet. We enjoyed walking in the orchard, relaxing with a cool beverage under our awning, and watching the resident chickens. We left with a dozen fresh eggs and farm honey too. We are self-contained for boondocking, but if you need water there is a hookup available, and also a minimal 15 amp electrical hookup. Definitely recommend!

Thank you to Grayson and Tina for opening up their property to us and our fellow campers. It’s peaceful and quiet and offers a welcoming respite from the crowds at RMNP and Estes Park. It’s a quick and beautiful drive to the main park entrances in Estes Park and is even closer to additional RMNP sites on Eastern side of the park. Full hookups are a huge plus. I will definitely book again when we’re in the area.

This is our second time camping on Edward’s land and we will most definitely be back! Edward maintains the land perfectly. It is peaceful and feels safe. Only an hour from our house, this is the perfect get away without having to drive too far. We love the amenities and the proximity to Rollinsville’s pizza place and coffee shop + Nederland. Truly a wonderful getaway!
