Just outside the tent is a picnic table with BBQ grill and propane fire pit. There is a porch area with outdoor kitchen and a queen sized bed inside the tent. A comfy dog bed is also included. A composting toilet is available for use. No showers currently available (Bath House coming soon). Well behaved dogs are allowed, however, they must be on a leash or under voice command. There are 2 dogs that live on the property as well as chickens, turkeys, and a cat. All will be contained so as not to disturb (except for the occasional rooster crow). Because of that, sound travels very easily so while it is usually quiet, you can easily hear dogs barking or music. A propane fire-pit will be provided for you so you can still enjoy a nice campfire.  A propane heater is also available for chilly nights or winter camping.  The Greenhouse also includes a camp stove, a percolator for making coffee or tea, minimal cookware and silverware. Potable water will be provided along with coffee and tea. Fresh eggs from our chickens can also be made available upon request for a small fee. Cots and a hammock are available for use in the Greenhouse, but you will have to bring your own sleeping mats, sleeping bags and pillows. Sleeping mats and sleeping bags on the floor are also an option if you choose. Picnic tables are close to the Greenhouse for enjoying time outdoors. The Glamping in the Aspens Tent has a wood burning stove in it that will be available starting later season 2024. Firewood for the wood stove will be provided for you. Just outside the tent is a picnic table with BBQ grill and propane fire pit. There is a porch area with outdoor kitchen and a queen sized bed inside the tent. A comfy dog bed is also included. A composting toilet is available for use. No showers currently available (Bath House coming soon). Well behaved dogs are allowed, however, they must be on a leash or under voice command. We had an awesome time at the Laughing Valley Ranch! Bill showed us around and we loved looking at the animals, he’s a very knowledgeable and kind man. The campsite was an a gorgeous outlook that made for fantastic views. We are birders, so loved all of the cool birds around. Joe also made our stay super easy and comfortable! He gave us rides to the site, made sure we had wood and water, and showed us some cool spots around the land. Big shoutout to Joe! Overall we really enjoyed our time here, great place to get away and take in the mountain view’s for a couple of days, while not being super far from Denver and the cute town of Idaho Springs. Recommend this spot for any hiking, camping, or overall nature lovers.

Weekend Trip to Hart Family Farm
We had such a wonderful greeting from Sara’s grazing sheep, her dog Yogi and her cat Salty. It took only minutes for my son to join her daughter on the family’s swing-set. We had intended to “glamp” somewhere close to Estes Park, and the Burro fit the bill! The tiny space heater made the camper cozy on the cold nights, and we had access to her walk-in basement restroom and shower (even if we opted not to shower because we like to “rough it” on camping trips). After a day of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, my 8-year-old could not wait to “get back to the farm”, and spend time with all the animals. Sara’s daughter Rose even treated my son to a riding lesson on a pony for a very reasonable price. We also enjoyed the nearby creek just at the back of her property and an excellent recommendation to a nearby park. Additional perk is that my little loved to pet the animals in the morning while I was getting breakfast or dinner ready. Always something to do at this beautiful location!

My partner and I loved our stay at the tiny house! The sauna setup and giant windows were really the selling points for us. Was also fun to hand-grind coffee to be more present. The aspen leaves changing were an added bonus! There were two other sites on the property, but the folks staying there were friendly, and it was overall still a very peaceful place. 10/10 recommend for a little weekend getaway for two.

The neighborhood was cute and quaint. You have a private space with a walking trail in your back yard. The RV is decorated with wood fairies in mind...loved that! Weekend Trip to Laughing Valley Retreat
We had a fantastic stay at Laughing Valley a few weeks ago. The tent, campsite and amenities were impressive, making our experience comfortable and enjoyable. What truly stood out was our engagement with Joe, who took us on a tour and showed us all the cool ranch animals — his enthusiasm and kindness made the visit memorable. When a storm was approaching, Joe went above and beyond to ensure our tent was securely latched and that we felt safe and comfortable. Overall, we felt genuinely taken care of and already look forward to returning for another trip. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the A frame cabin. The modern and minimalist design was really comfy- we felt right at home. There are many great places to explore and hike nearby. We enjoyed starting and ending our days appreciating the nature views in the living room. The fall was a beautiful time of year to visit and Ernest was a great host!
