We loved staying in the Burro! Sara and her family were more than welcoming. All of the animals were so cute and sweet :-) would come back in a heartbeat
We had such a wonderful greeting from Sara’s grazing sheep, her dog Yogi and her cat Salty. It took only minutes for my son to join her daughter on the family’s swing-set.
We had intended to “glamp” somewhere close to Estes Park, and the Burro fit the bill! The tiny space heater made the camper cozy on the cold nights, and we had access to her walk-in basement restroom and shower (even if we opted not to shower because we like to “rough it” on camping trips).
After a day of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, my 8-year-old could not wait to “get back to the farm”, and spend time with all the animals. Sara’s daughter Rose even treated my son to a riding lesson on a pony for a very reasonable price.
We also enjoyed the nearby creek just at the back of her property and an excellent recommendation to a nearby park.
Additional perk is that my little loved to pet the animals in the morning while I was getting breakfast or dinner ready. Always something to do at this beautiful location!

Staying at Burro on Sara’s property was amazing. Having opportunity for shower in the house and staying in the privacy of the backyard was a great combination for my wife and me. Camper was clean, just enough for two of us on a great location. Close to the main road, yet secluded. Short drive to the restaurants, grocery shops, coffee shops, bakery and trails. Sara was a great host and we would stay at her place again anytime. Excellent communication.

I loved the location and landscape views I had while camping at Sara's. It was private but there were other people and animals around. I made friends with a handsome orange kitty while there and love watching the chickens free ranging around the grounds. Nice stay. Thank you.
Beautiful site on quiet farm with friendly animals. Slept 4 people which was cozy but enough space. It was a great stay and the host was very responsive and welcoming!

I loved the farm setting. My kids had a wonderful time with the animals and at the playground. It was comfortable camping in the RV and directions were clear. We would go back!

I loved staying in the Burro! The location was perfect! I was near to RMNP, Estes Park, and the Arapahoe/Roosevelt national forest. I loved waking up to the dogs and ducks outside the door and that there was direct riverfront access. Sara was responsive when I had questions before my trip and welcomed me on arrival. Saturday night there was a wedding being hosted nearby so there was some loud music playing but there were earplugs provided and closing the windows did a lot to mute the noise. This was the perfect spot for me extending my business trip into the weekend to enjoy some mountain time!

Hart Farm Burro ~ Slice of Heaven
This was such a fun lil getaway from the city! My toddler looooooved hanging with the animals, helping with morning farm chores, playing on the playground, and even had a chance to ride the pony. The Burro was adorable and cozy. Plus it was close enough to town to grab food and ice cream :-). Would definitely come again!

The Hart farm was fantastic! We only stayed for a brief night, but my friend and I were super cozy, and we LOVED meeting all the animals. The cats and dogs were super sweet. We brought an extra wool blanket for warmth which was good, because we didn't want to run the heater all night (but so nice to have a heater to warm up the space in the evening and morning!). There is easy access to a downstairs private bathroom. Sara and family were so great and sweet and I am definitely keeping this in mind for the future.
Wonderful place! Me and my husband had a great time there! Burro is very cute and quite comfy for 2 ppl. All farm animals are adorable, Yogi the dog was hanging out with us all morning as well as a cat.. and free ranging chickens were all over the yard which made it that much more interesting! As long as you love animals and understand that you’re staying on a farm I guarantee you that you’ll love it!!!
The Hart Family Farm was a lovely getaway for our Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park trip. It was so conveniently located in very cute and quiet spot with views of the mountains to stay for a few nights. We were pleasantly surprised about the town, Lyons, as well! In the mornings we sat outside as the friendliest dogs, cats, ducks, chicken, and goats roamed around us. There is also a bathroom conveniently located with toilet and shower. Sara also had towels, fan, heater, dishes, and sheets available so the only thing we brought was food to cook on the stove and clothing!

Very welcoming and cozy!
Simple accommodations in great location near Estes Park & Boulder. Enjoyed the simplicity and the refreshment that comes from simplicity.
Nice little crash pad... as advertised. Host was nice and had access to a clean bathroom and shower... was peaceful. The only downside was maybe too many animals in a small space. Kinda seemed cluttered... overall nice place to hang out for a night or two. The burro slept very well.
My partner and I are both in positions where we don’t have a ton of money to spend on dates and presents for eachother, but for Christmas this year I got us a night on Hart Family Farm and it FAR exceeded my expectations. Not only was the rv the cutest and decorated in such a lovely way, but the Hart family is so kind and attentive. We absolutely loved spending the morning sitting on the farm while drinking coffee, petting the dog and cats, and having wonderful talks with the mountains in the background. I can’t recommend it enough and we will definitely be back.

We drove in from Chicago and stayed at Hart Family Farm, the pictures don’t do justice to just how adorable and quaint the little burro actually is! The farm is in the mountains so traveling in is loaded with beautiful views and the farm has such a friendly and welcoming vibe! The animals are so much fun to be around the dogs and cats are super friendly so be ready to give lots of attention!! Overall our stay was beautiful and surpassed any expectations we had before arriving!

Our Host Sara and her daughters were so friendly (and so were the dogs, cats, geese, goats, ewes, horses, you get the point). The farm was cute and well kept, and the burrow was pretty perfect for what we needed. Comfy bed and blankets and a thorough prepared info sheet for anything we could have needed. Close to town for dinner (mojo has great tacos!). Hart farm is great, you should stay there.

Hart Family Farm Slice Of Heaven is a lovely and relaxing little getaway close to Estes Park and Lyons. We really Enjoyed staying in the little Burro. When we arrived we were welcomed by Yogi and Lyla two very friendly farm dogs and after getting settled in we wandered over to meet the other animals on the little farm, all very friendly.
We enjoyed the evening sitting out by the burro enjoying some food and the occasional chat with the family members there.
Lovely spot and lovely people. Highly recommend checking this spot out.
