Incredible spot 10/10!! The land is gorgeous with horses walking right up to the porch. A view of the valley and mountains. The hosts are fantastic, they baked us muffins and cookies and were extremely responsive.
We came with our 2yo daughter and she couldn’t be more excited to watch the horses and play outside. There is a playground, a deck with tons of space and the barn was more than big enough for all of us. Plus, Mary brought over toys for us. Nederland is just 10 minutes away and has lots of restaurants and a grocery store. Lots of hikes nearby as well. Couldn’t recommend more, we will be back.

Cannot say enough good things about our hosts-Mary and Dwight were so accommodating, warm and welcoming. The Little Red Barn was fabulous! Wonderfully decorated and furnished with everything you would need. The balm to your soul even if you didn’t realize you needed it. Beautiful mountain views from every window, and we had an elk herd grazing outside one morning! Mary and Dwight were very helpful in providing us with information on places to go and things to see/do. The four-wheeling was an adventure that we are so glad we took-snow/rain-still fun! We will return whenever the mountains call.

This is such a charming, special place. A true gem. I loved every minute of my time here, where I spent a lot of solo time writing, reading, and resting. A much-needed respite, made all the more special with equine friends. What a dream to wake up and see the horses front the front window. To enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck with the morning sun splashing over the mountains. I found the deep rest my body and soul were craving here. Thank you so, so much to Mary and Dwight for creating such a sacred place - and sharing it with me. Every detail from the upstairs fireplace to the well-stocked kitchen and comfy bed is intentional and truly appreciated. The hosts are generous and kind. The only difficult part was leaving. :)

What an absolute hidden gem this little red barn is. We had such a beautiful wknd at the ranch enjoying the horses, and the comforts of the cozy barn! We feel so rejuvenated and relaxed after our stay! I would definitely recommend!!

We enjoyed a lovely experience at the “Little Red Barn”. Our super hosts offered countless ammenities and personal touches. The craftmanship of the decor was beautiful and our stay was peaceful and relaxing.

We absolutely loved staying in the Little Red Barn which was handcrafted and perfectly furnished. Mary thought of everything. The views and surrounding property was was breathtaking. Mary and Dwight, Beauty and Judge (horses) and sweet little Reba (new puppy) were a joy. My 12 yr. Old grandson was equally impressed. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to be back again soon. Thank you so much!

The little little red barn was adorable and so cozy. . Upon Arrival Mary met us at the barn and was so welcoming. She has that Midwestern hospitality that will never be forgotten. Our favorite part of this day was most definitely judge and beauty the two horses. They are the sweetest most gentle giants. We will 100% be coming back

The Little Red Barn was perfect for a weekend getaway. We came up with a January storm coming in, but the property was well plowed, and the local roads weren't too difficult with AWD and snow tires.
I can only imagine how wonderful it is to stay here in warmer weather, but the barn was fantastic! Such a cozy space with all the necessities! I would definitely be interested in staying here again in the future.

The barn was a magical oasis - away from the hustle and bustle of the busy modern world. You can tell that Mary and her husband have put much love and effort into this beautiful gem. The fact that they are open to feedback and actually ask for any suggestions to add to the comfort of their guests' stays just shows how big their hearts are and how much they care.
10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an escape with great hospitality. The horses were LOVELY and helped make it a memorable stay. Thank you for cherished memories, that will stay with us forever.

Mary and Dwight’s lux barn is not only an amazing stay but a WHOLE experience. We stayed 2 nights to celebrate my son’s 1st birthday and they went above and beyond to make our stay just perfect. They installed a last minute baby gate above the stairs, had fresh cookies made, a wrapped gift for our son, and had toys handy for him to play with. A parent’s dream. We spent hours watching not only the horses out front but taking in the breathtaking views of the trees and mountains. This place is a GEM!

This place was a dream! Super cozy accommodations with a picture-perfect Colorado mountain aesthetic. Warm, comfy beds and the kitchen has everything you need. Mary even baked us Christmas cookies as a welcome :) We loved having the horses, Judge and Beauty, so close by and feeding them carrots. Can't wait to come back, it's everything you could want! This little red barn felt spacious inside with the most charming decor. Packed with board games, books, blankets and everything you’d need to cook a meal (pots/pans/ect)!
We felt completely at home - Mary was such a wonderful host and we really enjoyed meeting Judge and Beauty her two very sweet horses!
The location was incredible! We took Mary’s suggestion and hiked near by and had lunch in Nederland - which was very close to the barn! The property itself has beautiful views of the mountains, foothills and trees.
This is a truly special spot - being around the horses, watching the sun set & cozying up in the barn made for a blissful weekend.

Amazing stay! Mary was very responsive and greeted us as soon as we arrived. The space is beautifully decorated, the views are gorgeous, and the horses (Judge and Beauty) are so sweet. Closely located to amazing hiking trails. It was one of my favorite vacation stays yet :)

We loved our stay at the Little Red Barn at Forever Ranch. The hosts Mary & Dwight were very friendly, had great suggestions for local places to visit, and really made us feel welcomed. We really enjoyed the two, friendly horses, Judge & Beauty. They loved hanging out and being fed carrots. The surrounding environment, animals, and accommodations all complimented each other well and made for a really special experience. The Little Red Barn has been beautifully renovated, clean, and provided the perfect atmosphere for our stay. We honestly did not want to leave and will certainly be staying again in the future.
Would highly recommend staying here.
