Overall this is a beautiful campsite. There is a delicious restaurant on the premise and the people who work there were very helpful. This particular site is next to the bathroom, which I didn’t realize when we booked it. There was also a bush of poison oak towards the back. But it is also one of the largest sites which fit our family well. We definitely will come back!

There were multiple dirt roads through the trees the kids could ride their bikes on and explore. There is also a rad pond and waterfall the kids got to explore. Plenty of space to play and relax to escape life for a little bit. Highly recommend if you are going to Lassen or hanging in the area

Very quiet and shaded. Great views and the scenery was beautiful! Bathrooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly. We would highly recommend this campground!

Such a lovely experience! My partner and I messed up and Gerardo could have easily turned us away for not meeting their hipcamp site requirements, and didn’t. He was very kind and we felt very comfortable. Such a quite spot, definitely recommend!!

Nice clean spot. Had a picnic bench and a hammock at my site which was nice. There’s a disc golf course on the property in a cool 4 mile hike across the street.

Beautiful location in a fun complex. We had a great time on our second visit. They had a wonderful outdoor movie night that our kids loved. Spot 24 wasn't the most level but we made it work, hookups all worked great. We will be back next time we are in the area!

The space is exactly as shown (and described) with the exception of the oak tree. There are many trees but none to park under (which is discouraged). Traffic dies down during the night so it is quiet for sleeping. Easy on/off from I-5 with Love's near the entrance. A nice place for the night. I'd gladly stay again when we're in the area.

Weekend Trip to Whiskeytown Lake Getaway

Great spot! Very nice getaway in the oaks! Nice frisbee golf setup on the property and a hammock, table, and queens/kings chair at the site. So close to Whiskeytown and the Trinity Alps!
