The land was purchased from the railroad in 1908 by Grandpa Coen when he immigrated to the USA after his service to the British Empire during WW1.
Grandpa established and maintained the vineyards during his life in California's Central Valley which he left to his daughter, Irene. She kept the farming tradition going with her husband, Al, and they expanded by purchasing surrounding land and planting more vines. Today their daughter, Cheryl, and son-in-law Rand continue the family farming tradition for the next century.
These are working vineyards and family-owned for 100+ years. We have wide-open spaces to enjoy the peace and quiet of country life.

Our ranch is a 5 acre walnut grove, of which there is a dedicated RV/Camp site that is fenced off and landscaped for your outdoor country/farm life experience. Within the site there is a fire pit for you to enjoy an evening fire. There is 30/50 Amp power hook ups for an RV’s, Motor homes, and Travel Trailers, as well as water hook up/supply. Located in the Sierra Nevada foothills on route to Sequoia National Park makes our location very convenient. This is agricultural land which mainly grow citrus, nuts and other tree crops. Check in was seamless and the contact with the hosts was great. We really enjoyed the grounds and all of the amenities. Driving in is a bit of a struggle, but totally manageable with a Toyota Camry (even if it doesn’t quite look like it). Views driving in make it worth the tight corners.

I had such a wonderful time camping at the Sequoia Highland! The directions and self-check-in process were so smooth and user-friendly. The staff was incredibly accommodating.
When our initial reservation had a maintenance issue, they moved us to another yurt without any fuss. They also kept me in the loop about fire pits and shared great local recommendations.
My biggest tip for anyone planning a visit: try to arrive early enough if you plan to enjoy some cooking time.
If you’re not into cooking, keep in mind that the pizza shop on the way up the mountain closes at 8 p.m., so it’s good to plan ahead.
Overall, it was an amazing experience. Definitely a 10 out of 10. I'm already excitedly trying to organize a group trip, maybe with a few yurts and a cozy cabin.

We took our three young kids camping at Camp Hye Sierra this past weekend (three nights total) and had a wonderful time! My older two kids, ages 7.5 and 4.5, especially loved going out in the canoes. We saw so many animals, including a large turkey family, deers, hawks, woodpeckers, and even found predator tracks (thinking mountain lion based on size). We visited Kings Canyon NP one day and planned to visit Sequoia NP the next day but decided to just hang around camp instead. We’ve already told our family about this camp and want to return with a larger party in the future :)
Also, shoutout to Chris, the camp groundskeeper. He was so helpful and super responsive! With young children, we asked if we could set our tent away from the lake and he turned on the electricity by the arts and crafts pavilion for us. We appreciated that so much so we didn’t have to worry about someone wandering to the lake without an adult.

We had a wonderful night of sleep under the olives trees. They smelled wonderful! The fresh mandarin oranges off their trees were juicy and refreshing. Soft morning rooster sounds were cute to wake up to. Nice little 7am alarm to get back on the road. Would definitely spend a night again.

There's a few domes, and a few tree pods - all thoughtfully laid out so you don't feel like you're intruding on each others' spaces. We stayed in a tree pod. The pod itself is super cozy, and the surrounding area is thoughtfully designed to make it comfortable for two folks.

The couple that runs Lemon Cove were so friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful spot, with excellent amenities. The rv pull through sites are a little closer together than most regular campgrounds, but all our neighbors were quiet and respectful so it didn't make a difference.

The land is nestled in the valley just below highway 180, where it would be a wonderful place to paraglide. Spencer is very accommodating and kind . The yurt was well kept and clean. My dog and I slept soundly and woke up at dawn with the roosters, which is expected in picturesque country living.

Great sight to go camping. It's a working cattle farm and well maintained. The cows mainly stay away. A couple curious ones. I saw one beautiful horse that was curious. I parked near a big oak tree that provided good shade.
Currently they have bee hives but the bees are very docile. The Beekeeper came by and have me a fresh cut honey comb and was very informative about the bees.
Extremely quiet and peaceful. Will go back again.
