3 nights at Cobb Mtn Retreat Cabin w/ Hot Tub

Wow - what a wonderful spot! We were greeted with a very clean, open and refreshing house. It is impressive how mindfully designed and well-appointed it is, with pleasant textures, textiles, colors and artful touches throughout, as well as numerous large windows to let the outside in. The comfortable seating areas are perfectly placed to enjoy the beautiful, woodsy setting both indoors and out. The hot tub area is great too - perfectly designed for privacy & relaxation. The house was well-stocked with items that are often not provided at house rentals, such as Kleenex, a variety of cooking spices, every kitchen tool I needed (and we cooked every meal at the house during our 3-night stay), Tupperware perfect for picnics, coffee supplies, etc. Well done! It's one of those places you want to tell everyone about, but you also don't because you want it to be available for your next getaway!

We had a lovely weekend in the green room at Camp Butterfly. We enjoyed sitting on our little deck playing cards, and listening to the turkey and coyotes at night.the bed was comfortable and the room cozy, we loved the hot outdoor shower and fully equipt outdoor kitchen. Location was great to wine taste and go to Mendo. Would love to return sometime soon!

Such a beautiful property with lovely vistas. The dome is incredible, and a great place to relax. Plenty of wonderful space to wander around. Wonderful and thoughtful host, too!

It was beautiful spot! Host Marek was really nice and quiet spot. Definitely visit again. Road to his Vineyard had some rough spots but our 2WD class B Travato with motorcycle trailer made through fine. Thanks to Marek we had great time!

House of trees was the perfect get away for my trip to the Mendocino/Fort Brag area! It was so cozy, the bed/linens were incredibly comfortable and it had everything you needed to feel to enjoy a night in. I appreciated the little touches like the teas, candle lights, bubble bath and towel warmer. Janice has really thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Would stay again for sure!

I loved this stay so much! I am going to try and stay again in the future so I can spend more time here - I spent most of the day out exploring Mendocino, and next time, I would want to spend more time in the tiny house/the property itself! Some of the highlights: - Bathtub with the large window and forest view + the outdoor tree shower were fantastic - The tiny house decor was so cute! I loved all the thought and details put into it - Upstairs bed was pretty cozy and warm, and had a few great spots to chill out and read - Excellent vinyl options for the record player - There’s a small grocery/deli about 10 minute drive from the hipcamp, and you’re about a 10 minute drive to downtown Mendocino, and 30-40 minute drive to fort Bragg - Communication from the host was great!

I loved staying in mushroom cabin! It was so cozy and the entire property is gorgeous, filled with redwoods and banana slugs. Nathan was a wonderful host too, he showed us around & answered all questions super quickly.

Baby banana slug farm is very very cool, in a gorgeous forest setting. My sister and I stayed a night in the sunshine cabin and it was perfectly cozy, cute, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the kitchen and bath house. We're very appreciative of them allowing pets! I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

My partner and I loved the tiny cabin! We felt very safe and enjoyed the closeness of the cabin to the families home. The fire stove inside our room was amazing and made the space so cozy and warm. The land was beautiful and all the wisterias were breathtaking. We enjoyed talking and playing with the kids but were also able to have time alone. Sunny was super welcoming and so were her kids and pups. We will be back again 💕

The host was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. He greeted us with a tour of the property and shared great recommendations for things to do around Albion. We had a relaxing weekend—the cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortably heated. Just steps away were a shared kitchen and bathroom, both well-maintained. I’d definitely recommend the cabins and campgrounds for families, and it’s a bonus that they’re pet-friendly!

A little slice of relaxation - where the forest meets the sea We came for a camping trip with our pup.. to adventure some nearby trails.. and to escape to the wild. The property was artsy, home and well kept. We had "neighbors" at another site and they were far enough away for it to still feel private. Our dog loved sunbathing on the kitchen deck in the morning. And he thanks you for the dog treat!

This is a shared campground with 3 separate spots that are relatively private. Host will NOT be there when you arrive unless prior arrangement made. This campground is yours to enjoy. The expectation is 'leave it better than before so the next guests may enjoy! This is camping. BRING YOUR OWN GEAR. Put your own linens and bedding on top of what is already on bed. I can provide linens and bedding for an extra $25 for glamping spots. Beds have pillows on them. There is wildlife. This includes bears and mountain lions in the area. You will not see either but good to be aware they exist. This is a safe 'neighborhood'. We do not have problems with thievery. However, always keep your valuables safe IN YOUR CAR. There is no Power. No WiFi. Cell phone coverage not guaranteed. Depends on your carrier. DOWNLOAD DIRECTIONS AND INFO BEFORE ARRIVING TO SITE. There is Poison Oak. Stay in the designated areas. If you are susceptible, bring and wash with Tecnu. Or use dish soap and wash. Poison oak is an oil. Most importantly: Don't Touch. No Fires allowed during Summer months. Be super careful. No candles. Smoke in fire pit area. Grass is a tinderbox. 1 spark can ignite all. There is a hose connected to kitchen. There is a Pet Fee of $25 per stay. 1 pet per site allowed unless prior arrangement made. You are responsible to clean up after your pet and to make sure pet is safe and respectful to neighbors. This means you DO NOT leave your pet unattended, and is leashed at all times. If your pet is barking continuously, we ask that you leave. It is not respectful for all other neighbors. Please bring your own bed for your dogs and clean up after a shedding dog if you are indoors. We ask that guests clean up your camping spot upon departure to 'make the place better than before' for the next guests. Butterfly Landing is a sweet landing spot! Birds, butterflies and small wildlife love this spot. The habitat includes many native species of plant life. A pretty knoll that is on the top of a 40 acre property. Views of vineyards, redwood trees, valley floor, and expansive sky. Private, Quiet and beautiful. A central sunny meadow ties together 3 distinct private areas with a communal kitchen, bath-house, picnic-table sitting area and parking on the side. There is 1 outhouse that has a mailbox system to ensure privacy. (Please read manual on picnic table for instructions) Kitchen. 2 burner propane stove, and sink with running water (cold). (Good for drinking. Pressure is low) There is basic cooking and dishware. Cleaning supplies. A Trash and Recycle Bin. And a Compost bucket where all food scraps should be disposed of and then covered with wood-chips. Kitchen should stay clean at all times. Please put dishes away in the tote to keep clean and critter free. Bath-house. Shower with hot water. 1 shared Outhouse. Please use the path that goes to the outhouse (unless you are in the Greenroom) and make sure you put the mailbox red flag up so that others know it is occupied. ((Then don't forget to put it back down!!) Common sitting area. There are 2 picnic tables, Lots of umbrellas that can be moved wherever, a fire pit/table and lots of seating. Parking. There are room for 3 vehicles. Parking is to be in designated parking area please. Sunny meadow and forest shade make this a lovely landing spot to relax and enjoy nature, and a great opportunity to turn off those cell phones!! Butterfly Landing is about 1/2 mile from HWY 128 that runs through Anderson Valley. This location is the perfect location for it all. Wine tasting in the Valley, Navarro River swimming during the summer months, and the Mendocino coast is nearby. This is an Honor system camping spot. We ask that you leave your spot 'better than before', as in 'Leaver no Trace'. I rely on everyone to do their part in the communal kitchen to keep clean and free of critters. SUPER IMPORTANT to put all food scraps in the compost bin. NO food anything in the trash. This is how the bears show up. Please do your part. Thank you so much. Bird watching too! We have two very friendly Great Pyrenees, 2 cats, 5 ducks and 10 chickens. Fresh farm eggs available. These animals are all located near the house, and not near the campsites. Directions: Please contact me for specific instructions on how to get here ahead of your arrival time. Feel free to reach out the day before for directions also. If you are coming from Ukiah, reach out to me there. Or if coming from the coast please reach out to me from Mendocino area since service is very unreliable shortly after both of those towns. Today I am so humbly proud to facilitate a space for artists, musicians, nature lovers, off the grid fanatics and more! We love being inspired and inspiring so please come for a visit and leave some of your own inspiration behind. Come explore the beautiful oak and manzanita forests. Relax and take in the fresh air. Spend quality time with our animals, drive off to the cold running creek, take a workshop or relax in a sound journey. This is our Home, so please visit with an open mind, open heart, and most of all Respect. Everyone is always welcome here. Please remember Kids are considered guests here so please include them when you reserve the number of people in your party. KID POLICY: **Must keep an eye on your children at all times. You are responsible for them! **Children must be comfortable and respectful around animals. We have a lot here, they are amazing and kid friendly. **Kids fill this space with their amazing energy so please make sure you account for them in your reservation. If your kids are walking they are considered little people and are charged at regular price. Please inform during booking there will be kids in your party, that way we can possibly reserve a site closer to amenities. MORE INFO: Please bring your own tent. All campers get all access to our hand built cob kitchen which and access to our epic dining hall deck. It’s a very sunny property so please bring a canopy for shade if you want it over your campsite. But remember to bring stakes, it can be windy here. There is limited water due to the drought. Here we make every drop count so please come with water conservation in mind. Also for big groups, we love celebrating but please please avoid bringing balloons, styrofoam, plastic banners, plastic cups, streamers or anything else that can blow away in the wind. We are off-grid with no amenities from the city so please be mindful of how much trash you’ll leave behind. If drinking alcoholic beverages we ask that campers take their empties. Ask for a bag if you need it. It’s always a journey finding the magical places so just a sweet heads up our mountain dirt road is a bit bumpy. Cars make it up all the time. Be sure to drive at a steady pace (lowest gear is good) on the way up and don’t stop till you see the Welcome sign! You will be greeted by one of our wonderful residents.... Or myself! ARRIVAL: We ask campers to arrive between 1pm at 8pm. If possible a general ETA helps as well. DOGS: We have an amazing dog with a wonderful disposition that roams freely here. You will be most definitely greeted at the entrance by Arco wearing a beautiful tuxedo. Arco will check in with you throughout your stay. *Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. Our animals roam freely. * WATER: Please bring your own Drinking Water. We do have potable water here as well. Clear Lake Campground is a small, vintage RV and tent campground, established in the 1950s. Camp right on Cache Creek, the only outlet of Clear Lake. The campground offers fishing, kayaking, and boating right from Camp. A car or boat is required to get to Clear Lake. For lake fishing, Redbud Park, Highlands Park and Austin Park are all within a ten minute drive from Camp. Austin Park also has a playground and swimming beach. Anchor Bay is 5 miles up CA 1, with a supermarket, a few cafes, restaurants (including a great Thai place!) laundromat, hair salon, and more. The quaint town of Point Arena is 12 miles north, with a supermarket, Frannie's Cup And Saucer, The Bird Cafe, a beautiful historic lighthouse, a theater, a pier, a mini-safari park (B Bryan Preserve with zebras, giraffes and more. Tours need to be booked in advance). Also visit Roots, a natural pharmacy for herbs, teas and supplements. There are also spots like Occidental, Bodega Bay, Jenner (with the Russian River to kayak and swim) and Timber Cove, all on the way to Gualala from the south. Bodega Bay has lovely spots to eat, with clam chowder, fish and chips. Enjoy wind and water sports, and walk on the pier.

This path is closed to cars, but you can walk, bike, or skateboard. If you go north you'll find McKerricker State Park, which has a nice boardwalk. Go south about 2 miles and you'll end up in the town of Fort Bragg. Dogs are welcome here.
