We had an amazing stay at Butterfly Landing at Vineyard View and would 100% recommend it!
The views overlooking the vineyard were absolutely beautiful, and the entire property felt peaceful, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. We camped in our tent and loved having access to the shared outdoor kitchen, which was shared between just three sites. The other accommodations—a gorgeous greenhouse site and a yurt-style tent—were both beautiful as well.
The composting outhouse was clean and easy to use (“one scoop, one poop!”), and there was even a clever mailbox system with a flag to indicate when it was occupied. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor shower—there’s something so wonderful about being surrounded by nature while enjoying a hot shower under the open sky.
The campfire and cookout area were fantastic gathering spaces. On our first night, we met two wonderful ladies who had also attended the 30th Annual Husch Picnic. We enjoyed making a craft together and left behind a colorful lantern that lights up in the evening for future guests to enjoy.
A special thank you to Kira, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely one of the nicest hosts we’ve met. Her warmth made our stay even more memorable.
We had such a wonderful experience and are already looking forward to coming back!
