We loved our stay at the Eagles Nest Cabin! Very comfortable bed, incredible shower, the compost toilet was also very convenient. Ken was a fantastic host - incredibly communicative, helpful, and respectful of privacy. We'll definitely be back!

The glamping site on Ken’s land was A M A Z I N G. Picturesque views from the eagle’s nest cabin with great amenities and beautiful cabin and outdoor bathroom. 10/10 recommend - I WILL be coming back. P.S thanks for bringing me first aid items when I needed them!

I had a wonderful stay at the casita—it’s a super cool, spacious, and bright cabin with tons of charm and privacy. The twinkling lights, fire pit, hammocks, shaded seating areas, and even a disco ball made the outdoor space feel magical. The professional community kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed, and the plumbing, sinks, and unique outdoor shower were clean and convenient. The large property is incredibly dog-friendly, and the host was warm and welcoming. The only downsides were the midday heat, which made it tough to stay cool, and a few too many flies and ants—but overall, it was a truly special and memorable stay!

I really enjoyed spending a night at Honeycomb cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was clean, there were plenty of amenities and the sounds of the frogs in the creek was incredible. Laura is a great host and I highly recommend recommend!

My 6 yo son and I had a mommy-son Glamping trip and we couldn’t have had a better time. Jacob was an amazing host and the property was lovely. We slept well in the Roadrunner A-frame, made full use of the pizza oven and amply supplied kitchen, enjoyed the outdoor shower, and lounged around all day in the hammocks. Gertie the dog was a big hit with my son and I as well. We will definitely be coming back, can’t recommend highly enough.

Ken’s place was the perfect getaway! This tucked away, private, romantic, cozy, welcoming gem was an amazing find and we definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a little peace and quiet. The bed was extremely comfy and one can easily spend hours there staring out at the serene views of nature. The fridge/freezer combo was just big enough to store our food for the weekend. The kitchen area outside had everything one could want to make themselves a good meal. We brought our regular camping kitchen kit but Ken’s place did have also have pans, utensils, plates, cups if you aren’t traveling with those. The shower was excellent and perfect after a long day out. The composting toilet was easy to use and very convenient. Ken was awesome and very welcoming. He helped us check in, checked in on us via message, helped us out with anything we needed and helped us find some local stuff to do. All around an amazing experience that was just what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you so much Ken! We will definitely be back.

Amazing stay at Granite Mountain! We stayed at The Eagles Nest site which had a beautiful, shaded view of the valley during the day, and of the stars in the sky at night. Ken was great, providing all the information we needed at every point of our stay, and the cabin was well stocked with everything that was mentioned as included. We had a great time taking a day trip to the nearby olive oil tasting, a bakery, and coffee shop, before coming back to rest on the deck during the afternoon and begin cooking for dinner. It was super peaceful and exactly what we wanted. Excited to stay again in the future!

Everything about this cabin was incredible. The views of the lake and mountain range are breathtaking, the kind that make you just want to sit back and soak it all in. The amenities were thoughtful and top-notch, which made it super easy to pack light and still feel totally comfortable. The bed was cozy, the shower was warm, and the whole place felt like a peaceful off-grid retreat while still having everything you need. It’s the perfect mix of nature and comfort. If you’re looking to unplug and recharge in a beautiful setting, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Beautiful. nice staff and fellow visitors! it was such a fun getaway only 30 minutes from a well-stocked shopping center! The views were fantastic and i found the wildlife to be unique and plentiful. delicious mexican food nearby

The place was clean, well stocked with all the essentials. The view from the cabin were amazing! We slept so well and had a relaxing weekend. The cabin is also close to an olive farm where you can do olive oil tasting, and close to a really cool art sculpture gallery. We loved our stay here.

2 nights at Campo Nopalito

My first time using Hipcamp and a little apprehensive. Could not have chosen a more wonderful location. Starters, Jacob has one heck of a concept. The location is set on an organic farm between the trees and natural flora. The A-frame that I stayed in was simple yet exquisite. The whole one side opens up, so that it creates an awning over the small deck attached to that side. So peaceful and quiet. The A-frame I stayed in had no electricity which added to the experience. privacy YES. The kitchen is a professional stocked kitchen placed outside covered by corrugated galvanized steel. with a sitting area. All you have to bring is the groceries. Also has a wood fired open. Beautifully set up. Bathrooms are designed for an out door experience. A vanity between the porcelain commodes. Vanity is nice Fully stocked. Each commode is private. And behind this is an outdoor shower. Now that's an intoxicating experience. you want to stay showering for hours. Met Jacob and Gertie. Jacob is just a down to earth guy enjoying life with his companion. Gertie is a sweetheart!!! ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE EXPERIENCE !! Will be returning.

2 nights at Granite Mountain

I went with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time. The space was beautiful and private. It’s in the countryside in the sense that there isn’t a ton around but there are some roads with the occasional truck passing by. The cabins are surrounded by thick vegetation which provide most of the privacy, they aren’t far apart and the road is pretty close but you won’t see or think about any of that unless you have a really tall vantage point because of the brush in the way. If your looking for the most secluded one the top campsite (not this one) is the most private. As it’s furthest from the house/parking lot and other cabins, it’s also highest on the hill so you will have the best view. We did not leave the campsite for the one day and two nights we stayed we didn’t want to much more then lounge as the cabin and campsite were wonderful. I can’t speak for the surrounding area beyond saying you would have to get in your car and drive should you want to do anything other than sleep and hang out around the cabin. The outhouse and cabin themselves were wonderful air conditioned and in perfect condition. Although I know better I would not have been surprised if you told me no one else has stayed there and it was just built. As a heads up you may want to bring a swimsuit as nearby there are hot springs that are captured into a series of baths you can go to for 45$. We didn’t speak to the host outside of texts but they seemed lovely.

Weekend Trip to Earthbag Tiny House

This place is awesome!! It’s just the right amount of peaceful nature getaway with the essential amenities. I absolutely loved how dog friendly it was, especially the backyard being clear of anything sharp so my dogs could play without me worrying. The shower, grills, sink, and outdoor fire pit worked out great. It is June in the desert so temps were in the 90s/high 80s during the day. It cooled down at night + there is a ceiling fan but I would recommend bringing a little fan for the windows if you’re going on the summer. The house holds heat really well which I am sure is a huge pro in the winter but it can take a while to cool down inside if you go in the summer months. Really wasn’t too hot though, the ceiling fan helps a lot. Everything was VERY clean and Lucas even provided a clean bath towel, kitchen towel, toilet paper, paper towels, and a water jug! I would definitely recommend a vehicle with AWD or 4WD because the driveway is a bit steep and is not paved. Overall I had a great stay and already can’t wait to come back!

Awesome weekend getaway! We had a great time spending the weekend at the Black Cedar Haven. Ken was very attentive and responds very quickly to requests or questions making our stay smooth. Pet friendly camping so you can bring your pets who have separation anxiety haha.
