Sangria La Ramona Wine Country
We had such a relaxing getaway here! The views from the pool were stunning, and the camper and outdoor area were clean and well kept. The winery was only a few steps away and was such a fun excursion! It was a great way to unwind for a short weekend.

100% book it, you won't regret it
This site is awesome. The cabin is super cute and clean. Having the bed upstairs is fun. It's cozy and romantic. The pool is great. Relaxing floating looking out over an infinity view. It doesn't get any better than that. Winery is right down a short path. Tons of hiking right down the street. Quick 5 min drive into town for bars and restaurants.
100% recommend going and plan on returning in the future. If you're a guy reading this, take your woman on a romantic getaway here. She will absolutely LOVE it. Or any person reading... you're significant other will love it. Glamping at its finest

Peaceful times at the Sangria La.
We had a lovely stay at the "Sangria La". The evenings were very peaceful sitting out by the pool overlooking the valley. We took a day trip to Julian and had a great time in the area. The town of Ramona is just up the road with numerous restaurants and stores. This area is an antique lovers paradise.

Super cute spot with a great view! We loved the area and were able to hike through the winery and the trails straight from the cabin. The bed was super comfy and Becky provided so many utensils and supplies. Great weather for the pool too, we had a great time!

Beautiful and relaxing!
We had a great stay at the tiny cabin! It was very comfortable and the views were amazing! It was a super relaxing getaway for myself and my husband. I highly recommend walking on the little trail to the Turtle Rock Vineyard for a glass of sangria. Don’t forget to bring your propane tank. You need it for the grill AND fire pit, which we didn’t realize. The little kitchen had a coffee maker, mini fridge with creamer, condiments, & coffee. The TV worked well and the Wi-Fi worked, but was a little slow. Becky was easy to get in touch with for questions. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend away, I highly recommend this property.

Tiny cabin but big experience!!
This cabin/stay was a dream!!
The view is spectacular, we arrived at night and it was beautiful to wake up and drink coffee while taking it all in.
The trail to the winery was SO FUN, we were greeted by some dogs from a neighboring property. Turtle rock ridge was the perfect place to enjoy the sunset and admire the wine.
Left the weekend here feeling refreshed!
The host has great communication and respected our privacy :)

The perfect balance...
We felt this property and its location both strike the perfect balance of providing everything you need, while encouraging simplicity and relaxation. The property is quiet and private with beautiful, open views. While it did get hot inside the cabin in the afternoons even with the strong new AC unit, the tree outside provided wonderful shade all morning; the beautiful pool and cabana are a luxury in the afternoons; and there was a pleasant cooling breeze throughout each evening and night. The town of Ramona, 2.5 miles away, has an excellent range of services and goods. Easy half-day trips to the ocean, or Julian, etc, still leave time for peaceful chilling at the 'camp.' Becky also manages to completely respect your privacy, and still be super helpful and friendly. Our stay here was completely satisfying and rejuvenating.

Beautiful and relaxing!
Great place for a romantic getaway, also perfect for a group of girls that just want to get away and unwind!
Perfect little retreat to just get away from things and re-group! It has everything you need to just be happy for a few days! pool with beautiful view to just float around in as well as lots of comfy chairs surrounding it in the shade. I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of beautiful hiking right out the door! And if you happen to get lucky you, you’ll get a chance to learn how to herd sheep!

Wonderfully cozy stay
PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE REVIEW FOR AN ACCURATE DESCRIPTION
This was the coziest trip I've taken in a very long time! In the midst of a pandemic where long distance travel has been severely hampered, weekend getaways seem to be more common. With that being said, this location was a wonderful weekend getaway for me and my girlfriend. The tiny cabin offered by Becky was absolutely adorable! No amenities were spared. The location had a gorgeous view of the SoCal hills, it had a beautifully maintained pool, and the cabin, itself, was very inviting. To start with, the cabin was beautifully constructed of wood. There was a small kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. There wasn’t a stovetop inside, but there was a propane grill outside. One knock against the grill is that the starter button is broken so you will need to bring a zippo lighter with a long wand to light the grill. And please be careful as it can be a little dangerous manually lighting a propane grill. Once we got the grill going, however, it was smooth sailing. Another great thing is that there was indoor plumbing in this tiny house. No need to walk to a communal shower. The accents were gorgeous, as well. Beautiful red curtains that tied off to the side of the windows were a great touch. And the magnetic bug screens that covered each window were great for keeping out the pesky mosquitos. Outside were two chairs and a table, the combination of which is perfect for hosting a romantic dinner for two. And the propane firepit only added to the romantic ambience. The bed upstairs was very comfortable. It was a little warm in the upper level during the day time, as is to be expected during summers in Ramona, but it cools off nicely in the evening, making it very comfortable to sleep. And a motorized wench to raise and lower the stairs made access very convenient. Watch your head upstairs, though. The ceiling is closer than you think! Our overall experience was wonderful. Everything was ready to go when we got there, which is a sign of great care from the hosts. I would recommend this spot to anyone!

The perfect getaway!
We loved our stay here. The views are great, and the location is perfect. We have visited the area before, but only in passing. It was nice having a few days to visit. We went to Wynola, because we love the pizza place and they have some amazing antique shops, as well as those in Ramona. We only visited the one winery, but there are a TON of them in the area. Many songbirds, a rooster, I think a turkey lol, and some coyotes sets the rustic mood perfectly.

Tiny cabin was perfect. It was clean, very cute, and Becky provided all the amenities (other than propane tank and grilling tools). She just got a new AC machine and extra fans for when It gets too hot, but at night time the weather cooled down a lot so we didn’t need it. We stopped by the winery to pick up the wine and spent our weekend relaxing by the pool, we brought our own floaties and air pump. Then watched sports on her cable tv. Theres also Netflix and other tv options. The only minor problem which was expected and can’t be controlled are the bees and flies if you eat outside, as well as the various animal sounds from the neighbors (dogs and rooster). I suggest bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Aside from that, we had a lovely weekend getaway!

Sweet Little Getaway
My boyfriend and I enjoyed a great little getaway here. The cabin was very cute and well kept, and the pool was a great escape from the hot weather. But because it was extremely hot during our stay (high 90s), it did get uncomfortable at times in the cabin because we were only allowed to turn on the AC when we were there; having to turn it off when we went out. We tried to walk to La Finquita winery (8 min walk), but it was way too hot, so we ended up driving (there isn't really a good walking path anyways). However, there is a little path to walk to the Turtle Rock Ridge Winery, but we wanted to go to La Finquita to try their wine slushies; which were delicious! The directions were a little confusing so we had a little trouble finding the entrance to the property (especially because the sign was very small), but Becky was extremely helpful; it's on the right side, right after the Turtle Rock Winery. The cabin provided everything: extra towels for the pool, dishes, and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and body lotion)! The bed was very comfortable and the cabin had a Roku TV with cable. The pool was clean, but the vacuum was a bit annoying because we had to keep moving the long tubes; it would've been great if it wasn't in the pool. Also, there are not outlets upstairs by the bed, so either charge your phones downstairs or bring a charging pack like we did. Overall, great stay but I wouldn't come back when it's as hot as it was.

Mixed feelings about this place.
This is our first time in any tiny cabins. Due to Covid situation, we wanted something private and secluded. Both those purposes were achieved. The location is perfect for a nice romantic gateway with one winery with good wines and great view literally in walking distance(less than 5mins) and another one in less than 10 mins. Lots of beautiful trails around the location in less than 25 mins. The swimming pool though not very clean but was good enough and was left for only us, which was nice . The cabin was equipped with everything needed including coffee creamer sugar and all that .. Bathroom was eauipped with required amenities with clean towels.
Unfortunately we went on a weekend with the highest temp ( it was 110 degrees the day we reached and 114 degrees the next day) the A/C unit ineffective and was wrongly placed with do not move instructions and the 3 fans were blowing hot air.. we both had to literally get ice cubes from the freezer and wrap them around the neck to keep us cool . We both do not come from dessert area, so obviously we’re not very familiar to these situations and would have really appreciated if the owner would have given us some fare idea about how hot it can go and could have offered to change the date( not a cancellation) it would have certainly be helpful. Again because of the heat we could not even enjoy the pool a lot. We also contemplated of checking out on second day instead of staying the full length. It was a labor weekend , so most of the wineries either were closed or closed early ( just when the temperature got bearable to 100 degrees) Also on the day of us checking out for some reason the cabin was invaded by the ants .. They were everywhere and I mean everywhere., even upstairs where we were sleeping.
Other than this the stay was okay ,but we may have second thought to return !

Perfect Getaway
My boyfriend and I loved the wine cabin! It’s a perfect place to stay for a quick getaway. The cabin has everything you’d need, was super clean / well kept upon arrival and the pool was a major plus. The bed was also very comfortable! We definitely highly recommend this spot to anyone whose considering. There’s a couple wineries walking distance. We took the pathway to Turtle Rock Ridge winery and had a blast hanging out with Ian - the winemaker & owner. Our whole experience was relaxing, fun and seamless thanks to the host Becky! We hope to come back soon!

We had a fabulous stay at the Merlot Cabin. Becky is a great host and the cabin spotless with great COVID prep. The isolation is great, the view is wonderful, and the swimming pool is immediately next to the cabin for a Welcome dip during a warm day. We will definitely be returning.

I had such a great time staying with Becky. I received great directions along with dining recommendations ahead of time. The cabin was easy to find with the posted signs and check-in was a breeze. Everything was well stocked for my visit. I thought was the bottle water was a great touch with how hot it was.
The cabin itself had plenty of room along with directions for how to operate everything. I had no issues with figuring out how to work everything. I really liked how close the cabin was to the wineries near by. I went in the middle of the week so I was only able to take advantage of one of them.
Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

Perfect Summer Getaway
Becky's cabin is a lovely little mountain getaway! The cabin had everything we needed, was super clean, and very comfy despite its small size. The view is incredible and the pool was perfect to cool off with the summer heat. We brought propane and cooked all of our meals on the grill. This spot is quiet and secluded, the perfect respite from LA. We hope to go back soon. Thanks Becky!

Wonderful & peaceful get away.
It was fun and interesting. The tiny cabin was tiny, not for large or tall people. We are small. It was an adjustment. Getting use to the loft stairs takes a bit of practice. It's steep. Very clean, it has everything you need except a toaster. Eating breakfast on the outside table was beautiful watching the hummingbirds at the feeder. We had the swimming pool completely to ourselves, it was so beautiful and safe. Highly recommend as a peaceful get away. Our host was the best extremely responsive & friendly. Looking forward to going back.

Peaceful country getaway
The little wine cabin was awesome! It met my expectations and then some. Its situated in a very relaxing, quiet and beautiful location right next to two different wineries and the view that the cabin has is so pretty especially when the sun is setting and the little twinkle lights come on. The cabin itself is very cozy and inviting and had everything we needed. To give one an idea of what they can do in wine country Ramona I’ll give the loose schedule my friend and I had while staying here. Arrived on the first day and enjoyed the view, relaxed by the pool and then headed out to Julian for a Sky tour at the Julian observatory. Such a cool experience. Second day: woke up and headed out to one of the reserves around Ramona for a hike. There are hikes just around the property though. Came back around noon and checked out the winery just down the hill where we enjoyed a wine slushy... beautiful views, and a the company of a very nice boxer doggy host named Will that makes his rounds to all the guests several times for pets at the La Fanquita winery. Then we headed to the Turtle winery which is walkable, where we took a sangria to go so that we could enjoy by the pool and a charcuterie board back at the cabin. The whole weekend was the exact little getaway that was needed to decompress from the stresses of every day life. My friend and I both feel very refreshed and happy with the experiences we had at the little cabin.

WOW!!!! This is an amazing gem!!!
Holy moly!! Becky’s tiny house exceeded my expectations!! What a lovely place to retreat to during these crazy COVID times. It provides all you need for a quiet, beautiful, safe and socially distanced getaway. I’m a nurse and desperately needed a staycation to relax and recharge, while still maintaining a sense of privacy. Cleanliness is a top priority for me and this place did not disappoint. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I felt....I am very picky. :-). The pool was an amazing oasis with a stellar view. Becky was quick to respond to messages and even provided a back up phone number to call should she not be Immediately available. I stayed there with my 18 year old daughter and we felt safe and secure. We are already booking our next visit there....and I’m kind of hesitant to share my awesome experience because I don’t want it to get booked solid. As it was, we stayed during the week because weekends were booked. That was not a problem at all, except the winery is closed during the week and I’d like to check that out next time I’m there. Bottom line, this place is an amazing gem!! 5 stars. Thank you Becky!

Well kept and private cabin!
My husband and I really enjoyed this place. It has amazing views and peaceful environment. It was very private and the host was very helpful and available immediately via text. We had all we needed in the cabin itself. The kitchen has almost everything. Even though it was very hot outside, the AC helped us. It gets cool in the evening as well. Loved the pool. Everything was clean and well kept!
