A lovely stay. The camper is well equipped and comfortable. However, you’re really coming for the animals and Ilana’s hospitality. We got to help feed all the animals at 4:30pm and snuggle with Thor, a gentle giant of a dog. A great quick trip! Highly recommend

We had so much fun! My husband and I stayed in the camper with our three children (all under 5). It was the perfect way to relax and have downtime and animal time. The kids could roam around and enjoy the animals. Lots of outdoor furniture and places to snack, hammock, read, etc. Camper is very nice and clean with a good kitchen. Ilana is there onsite (in her home ) and very responsive and shared with us about the animals.

Such an awesome place and such a great cause. My daughter and boyfriend stayed the night in the trailer and had a wonderful time meeting and hanging out with all the residents. The rest of us came for a visit the following morning and spent hours meeting all the animals.
Thanks so much Ilana! We WILL be back soon for a longer visit.

This is a great place to go and visit with the rescue animals. My children and grandchildren all love this place. Ilana is a perfect host and we will definitely be back. This was our 3rd trip to her place.

We had the best visit. Ilana was an amazing host. I traveled with my family (two young kids) and they loved helping with the animals.
The RV experience was delightful and we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to visit again!

This was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I took my three grade school kids and they thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, fresh air and truly welcoming and patient hostess in Ilana. They are already asking to go back. There is a lot of love and care in the space and the accommodation is well appointed. I love that the proceeds go to support the animals in her space. Cannot wait to cook up the eggs. We will be back.

I recently had an incredible glamping experience in Ilana's trailer at 2 The Rescue Animal Sanctuary. The trailer was immaculate, cozy, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. This camper and Ilana’s sanctuary are a magical combination of kindness, relaxation, beauty, and animal hugs. The camper has everything the two of us needed, including a clean shower and toilet as well as air conditioning and a comfy bed. We helped feed the animals, all of whom were super nice, nobody was wild or aggressive, and all really nicely taken care of by Ilana. She has such a sweet relationship with the animals, and you can tell that they reciprocate her love. If you’ve never petted a purring turkey, or brushed a donkey or a huge gentle steer, or fed gourmet salads to very happy ducks, you should definitely come visit Ilana. I’ve heard people say, may life treat you the way you treat your animals, and Ilana can teach us all a thing or two about that. Thanks for our really lovely weekend and for everything you do for the animals!

We have stayed at 2 the rescue animal sanctuary for 3 years in a row for my daughter’s birthday celebration! My daughter turned 5 this year! We LOVE Miss Ilana!!! She is so encouraging and kind and really helps my daughter to be a part of caring for the animals! It is an amazing experience!!! Highly recommend! Also, even if you don’t stay, PLEASE DONATE to the cause! The animals all deserve a safe life !!!

Amazing place. My son needed this mini trip. It was our first time staying in an RV what a great experience, it was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities that we needed!
Oh, and let’s not forget the adorable rescue animals ❤️ I will return, hoping I can bring my other child with me next time!

Our stay was pleasant. It was me and my 7 year old son and we had a good time. We got to spend time with the animals especially Thor which is the big white dog. If I had planned better we would have stayed 2 nights. We had a great host. There was an emergency horse situation going on when we arrived so please if you can’t come for the stay please donate!! It’s much needed for all the rescue animals. Goats, sheep, pigs, donkeys, horses, steer, chickens, rooster, Guinea fowls (which I just learned about) and more.

Absolutely LOVED staying here. The trailer was comfortable and just what we needed (AKA shower, shade, and a comfy bed!)
We loved getting to help feed the animals dinner and getting to meet them all/give them some scratches behind the ear (shout out to the mini donkey squad!) Thor the dog was such a sweetheart and watched over the trailer all night (paid him for the overtime with tummy rubs). Needless to say, we loved it here and recommend it to anyone rolling through town who loves animals - well worth the money, especially since it’s a non profit so your $$ goes to help run this amazing place and feed the animals. 10/10

Our family loved Ilana, her family, the farm, and the dogs! We came to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday, she is an animal lover, and really enjoyed helping take care of the horses and goats and sheep and chickens and ducks and peafowl, and you can’t forget the turkey! What an amazing adventure.
The RV is super comfortable and spacious, the four of us were comfortable and enjoyed the company of the gentle giant, the Great Pyrenees, Thor.
We leave with fond memories, beautiful eggs, and new friends that feel like family. We will be back soon!

The last few days we have had the most wonderful experience glamping in Llana’s trailer. The property is just beautiful and the trailer is really nice! We fell in love with Thor, the giant Great Pyrenees, he slept right outside our trailer and kept watch over us during our stay. His brother Rocky, the German Shepherd-husky mix is just as sweet and entertaining.
My 2 daughters and I enjoyed learning about each animal’s rescue story and so many interesting facts about them. The girls helped prepare the animal’s meals, groomed and brushed them and most importantly just gave them lots and lots of love.
Our favorite animals to brush and pet were Ferdie & Romeo, the giant steers, Teddy the sheep, all the goats, Jenny the mini donkey, Lily the turkey and both of the Dolly’s, one a llama the other a goat. I highly recommend spending a couple of days here and getting to know Llana the owner, she is truly an amazing person along with all of her rescued animal friends. This has truly been an unforgettable educational experience and we have already decided we will definitely be back! ❤️

I spent Thanksgiving 2022 there. I made the best choice to do that. ILANA was such a wonderful host, the animals are so sweet and the dogs filled my heart. The RV is immaculate. I expected less bc it is on a farm, but.. she proved me wrong. The bed was extremely cozy, linens were exceptional.

Ilana is a dream host and her animals are so sweet and fun to frolic with. She is inviting, yet doesn't hover. A fine line to walk, but she makes things look easy! The camper is stocked with dishes and blankets and netflix, all the creature comforts. I will definitely return!!

We absolutely loved our glamping experience at Ilana's 2 The Rescue Animal Sanctuary! The RV was very big and perfectly accommodated our family of 5. The kids had an amazing time feeding the animals dinner, and getting to pet and walk with the animals! It was definitely an experience to remember, and we would love to return! Ilana was so nice and helpful, and was patient with our little kids when showing them how to feed the animals. We have already recommended the experience to friends, and will continue to recommend to anyone looking to book a fun family trip!
Our google maps took us to the house next door initially, but we fairly quickly realized it wasn't the right place, and discovered that there is actually a "2 the Rescue" sign outside the correct gate!

Llana is a wonderful host and it's very uplifting to experience her passion to rescue farm animals. It was our third visit with my daughter and her two sons. They are 1st and 3rd grade and they love going there to help feed the animals and harvest chicken eggs. We will definitely go back again.

2 The Rescue Animal Sanctuary is such a wonderful place, filled with genuine caring! I We stayed at 2 The Rescue last year for our daughter’s 3rd birthday weekend and she LOVED it! She loved it so much we came back again for her birthday this year! Miss Ilana made our daughter’s experience so wonderful again!!! The time she gets to spend and watch Miss Ilana care for the animals is priceless and then we stay in the RV and it is a lovely and fun RV! Thor, the coolest Dog ever always makes it beyond amazing! We returned to our happiest place on earth, this time with the family, which brought many happy first experiences - camping at an animal sanctuary(!), the parents staying in the nicely appointed camper, my dad cuddling with a 3,500 lb steer (dear Ferdie)!, roasting strawberries with marshmallows while star gazing, spending quality time with Thor, and on and on and on. Ilana has truly created a sanctuary — and perhaps without intending to, making it a sanctuary for humans. This is where one comes to become better humans. Thank you, Ilana. Can’t wait to return!!!!

There is almost too much to put into words about this wonderful experience - and that's what it was; AN EXPERIENCE!
My partner and I wanted to get out of the city and be around nature for a dew days. This was our first time using HipCamp and I had been eyeing this listing for months. Well, you can't get much closer to nature than Ilana's sanctuary! The animals are all so sweet and beautiful. You fall in love with every single one, it's too hard not to. And Ilana as your host is everything and more: she's gracious, kind, compassionate about her mission for these animals, and HILARIOUS! We spent many hours chatting with her out in the animal yard, cool breeze ruffling up the chickens' feathers and the thick coat of Thor the Pyranese. Speaking of which, the other reviews are spot on. Give that good boy an inch, he'll take a whole mile and then some! Absolute best guardian dog you could ask for. And his sidekick, the new puppy Rocky, is a real character. Love them both to death!
Every dollar of your stay goes right back into the care of welfare of these animals. Do not hesitate to come visit the sanctuary and leave with a piece of your heart yearning to return. Thank you Ilana, Thor, Rocky, Prince, Luke, Misty, Faith, Sassy, Juliette, Romeo, Rusty, Nugget, Toby, and all the other critters we came to love on our stay. I know we will back without a doubt.

This is where the extraordinary is the ordinary each day. During this visit I saw Tobie the tortoise chase several horses, and when a duck, Oreo, was laying an egg, her buddy Popcorn stopped eating to wait by her side to comfort and support her. And Thor, the huge Great Pyrenees attempted to get into my 2-seater. My dog and I are always better once we have spent time here. Thank goodness for 2 the Rescue Animal Sanctuary, thank goodness for Ilana!

My kids love the big white dog which weights 156 lbs. He was the guardien by our tent through out the night.
The farm owner Ilana was so nice to us. She gave us tons of advice about chickens since we have 9 chickens at home.
Feeding the animals was a very nice experience for kids and I.
The stay was worth the price.
Ilana also recommended us to the bfast restaurent which is very good in town.
