Ridge Glamping w/ Mountain Views
Heidi’s glamping sites were absolutely great! Such great views and she had the tent stocked with everything you’d need like coffee and tea, and best of all a ‘cool-off kit’ with battery powered handheld fans and a tabletop fan which those toasty east county summer afternoons call for. There’s such a difference between quiet and natural peace and as I sat in the door of my tent watching the clouds drift by and a quick thunderstorm roll through, listening to the breeze, the cry of a hawk, sparrows fluttering about, nearby horses neighing, a cow lowing in the distance, and all the lovable goats and fowl gave it such a comforting rustic ambiance. The bell tents with full sized beds that were so comfy, clean sheets, soft pillows, and plenty of lighting made this feel like such a curated slice of heaven. I’m also so thankful that they also stocked the site with two 3 gallon tanks of potable water and if more was needed you could fill up at the water station. I booked the ridge site and boy did I get my stair hiking steps in. The view and peace were worth it though. Did I mention the goats? Oh I did? Ok, well more: just the joyous bleating when it was obvious their favorite person had arrived with breakfast will make anyone’s morning within hearing distance. So cute; Very memorable. These are sites I’d totally share with a loved one on a romantic getaway, but I also really enjoyed resetting and relaxing by myself on this solo trip with my loyal canine. 10/10 recommend.
Cute little glamping spot in Jamul, CA!
We stayed 2 nights out there and definitely enjoyed our time! If you get lucky, you’ll have a great view of a clear sky full of stars at night, or you’ll get to listen to the wildlife.
Very convenient stay. A lot of camping equipment is already included with your booking, which definitely makes it very easy—just pull up, and everything is already there. The shower is really nice, and it’s fun to explore the property and the little DIY glamping spot the hosts have built out there.
Inside the tent, you’ll find some card games, towels, and a tea and coffee station.
You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought and care into this spot. Definitely recommend!

Meadow Glamping w/ Mountain Views
My family of four stayed at this well-equipped campsite for two nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The facilities were great for little ones, with a nice outdoor shower and toilet, and the gas fire pit was a nice addition. We loved petting the goats and watching the chickens, and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at the pool. Heidi and Tim were wonderful hosts.

Exactly what I was looking peaceful, beautiful and well maintained would definitely recommend
I loved our 2 night glamping experience! The tent was larger than I anticipated, which made it feel really spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the pullout mattress also doubled as an extra lounge and seating area. The hosts were friendly and extremely responsive, always quick to answer any questions that came up.
My favorite part was how little prep was required. They provide a picnic table, prep table, and a storage bin stocked with camp utensils, serveware, cookware, and more. All you really need to bring is food and your personal belongings. They also have a shower, sink, and toilet which was also a huge plus!
I went with a friend, but I could easily imagine enjoying this with my husband for a romantic getaway, with a group of friends if we rented both glamp sites, or even bringing my 8 year old nephew. They also offer so many add ons to personalize your stay. We added the s’mores kit, fresh sourdough bread, 2 hours of pool and hot tub time, and a sound bath experience.
They also have a trail right in their backyard that’s perfect at sunset and overlooks Jamul Valley. It was a little steeper than I expected though, so definitely wear proper footwear.
We loved waking up and falling asleep to the sounds of nature, enjoying slow mornings with coffee and breakfast, spending the day hiking, and then coming back to relax around the campfire. One day definitely would not be enough to enjoy all of the amenities, so book at least 2 nights!
Such a cute little place to stay. Directions are easy, Heidi had everything we could need for cooking, relaxing, and staying cozy at night. Beautiful sunset and sunrise! Also love that everything is eco-friendly. Would highly recommend for an easy, safe, and beautiful getaway.

This sight is so amazing, The hosts were very helpful and kind. We came here for a nice getaway the area is very quiet and beautiful. The tent was spacious and included a heater! Cooking was easy and Heidi included all the basics you will need from cooking oil to pans and utensils. Complimentary coffee supplies and ear plugs for those who are light sleepers. Overall a 10/10 experience, for those who are new to camping or want a little more cozy experience this is the spot! :)
We had an amazing stay.
The place had everything you need for camping, including dishes and drinking water. We sat around the fire pit and made marshmallows with my kids.
The inside of the tent was so nice and clean. Mattress was so comfortable. I slept better than at home.
Evening under the sky full of stars, morning with view of green hills. We bought our electric bikes and explored around. So fun, we even pet lamas and saw horses on the way. We will for sure be back !
What an incredible space with fantastic views! My 3 boys wanted to try camping and I liked this spot because it feels remote while not being too far from town. The camp site was well appointed with tons of blankets, towels, chairs, picnic table, firepit, and propane heater for the tent. Everything seemed well maintained and clean. You could tell the host had thoughtfully anticipated what we might need. The tent was huge, easily and comfortably sleeping the four of us. It actually had a real bed, which was comfortable, and some thick fold-out mattresses for the kids. I was alone with 3 children and felt safe as the site is located off a secluded cul-de-sac on the side of a mountain. Host was nearby but with enough space that it felt private. There were also neighbors visible but nobody close. Star gazing was fun and the kids will definitely remember telling scary stories around the fire while listening to coyotes in the distance. Camping is not my preferred vacation style, but this did not feel like "roughing it." I definitely recommend this spot without hesitation.
