Welcome to Svatantria, a serene retreat nestled on 14 acres of enchanting landscape, where meandering creeks, a tranquil pond, ancient oaks, and vibrant native flora and fauna create a haven of natural beauty. Our retreat features four charming cabins and eight picturesque camping areas, ideal for both day-use and extended stays. Each accommodation is thoughtfully equipped with amenities such as BBQ grills, mini fridges, and bathrooms with invigorating hot showers. Depending on your choice of rental, amenities may be either private or shared. During your visit, immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings by exploring our on-site labyrinth, hiking through the peaceful mountains, dipping your toes in the creek, or observing the diverse wildlife. We invite you to join our yogis for practice on the meditation platform, or unwind to the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall. Private and semi-private yoga sessions are available—please contact us for more details. Svatantria honors the Kumeyaay, the First Peoples of this land, who have stewarded this region for over 10,000 years. As the current custodians of this sacred space, we are dedicated to preserving its nurturing essence and warmly invite you to partake in this journey with us

We had a great time at the Shakti cabin. The space was cozy and we loved stargazing at night.

We loved the Shakti Cabin and the entire property! Pictures can’t do it justice. Stuart has put so much work and love into every piece of the property. The cabin was cozy and clean with so many cute touches, gorgeous views, beautiful firepit, and a deck to enjoy it all from. The creek at the middle of the property is a peaceful spot as well. Grateful to Stuart and Janelle for creating such a beautiful spot.

Shiva Cabin + Tentsite
Loved this trip so much! Stuart and Karla were so nice to us, they really made sure we got everything we needed and were very accommodating to our request for an extra car spot which was so sweet. The views were amazing, we came for the stars and they were incredible. There was another camper there and although they were close, we never heard them or bothered each other so I would say there is a good level of privacy. The only "downside" I would say is that the door to the Shiva Cabin is very tough to open and close. Sometimes we couldn't close it all the way, but it really wasn't a big deal. Highly recommend booking this trip!

Needs some minor upgrades
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, a few things could be improved. There needs to be more solar as the fridge only lasts 1.5 days and we were here 3 days and woke up to a warm fridge. The water heater works intermittently. The path to Shakti would benefit from being widened as it the farthest cabin and hauling our gear and coolers was difficulty, even with the provided cart. I think the cabins and surrounding area are still being fixed up and the price is a little steep for the current condition. Stuart the onsite host is amazing and very helpful and kind.

Everything about this place is great - the cabin, the deck with fireplace, the kitchen, the outdoor shower, and the *location.* Our family had a wonderful time and we can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay here. The land is so beautiful and the views are amazing. The cabin and tent was exactly what we were hoping for. We look forward to returning soon and doing some yoga there. Thanks for everything!
