This park gets its rather self-descriptive name from the six beautiful rivers that flow through its borders, but don’t the name fool you. There is a lot more than just rivers to check out here. More than a million rambling acres of forest take you through foggy and mystical redwood landscapes. Further inland, miles of towering Douglas firs, glacial peaks, and hidden pools just wait to be discovered. Of course, the rivers are the main attraction. You can’t go two feet without tripping over a perfect swimming hole. After your dip, there are plenty of warm rocks to lay out on. Johanna's place is lovely! It's clean and well thought out. She cares for it meticulously.
There is outdoor hangout space and a lovely outdoor shower. You can listen to owls and watch the moon from the bed. Lots of cool birds in this blue oak woodland as well. I stayed for a conference at Turtle Bay, and the commute was ten minutes of easy driving. Highly recommend.

We loved tent camping here! It was private, quiet, and had everything we were looking for! I particularly enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the toilet and hose which added convenience. Not difficult to get to and everything was as described. There were a good number of insects during midday to sunset, but we found that to be the case in the entire region and not just at this site. I would definitely recommend!

Great quiet campground. Highly recommend get there before dark especially if bad weather. Also Google Maps will try to send you all the way to willow creek if you’re coming from the coast and then have you drive back. But overall 10/10 would recommend this site.

Such a great spot! Was super secluded and all the bathrooms were clean and there was lots of water. I'm definitely planning on coming back here again. Only thing I wish I knew ahead of time was how dewey it gets at night. Definitely cover your fire pit with a tarp so it's easier to start in the morning!
