Weekend Trip to Perch Riverview Glamping

An absolute treat and gem of a place to stay. Excellent hosting and communication. Whether you opt for glamping in one of the canvas tents or dome or go for a "bring your own tent spot"--you are in for a treat because all the amenities are there for everyone. The private swimming hole is a little slice of heaven and lots of water toys/accessories are available to use. Bathroom,showers and outdoor kitchen amenities exceed expectations. Fire wood and plenty of pits are also provided. You are close to town but you still enjoy the sounds of nature: fox, heron, lizards, ducks, geese and a couple domestic cows along with the sound of the river. We can't wait to return to the Perch.

This place was amazing! From arriving, they had a birthday card set out for us, fresh clean bathrooms, an amazing kitchen area, and really cool shower/bath options. Water was hot when we wanted it to, the beds were super comfortable. Very private setting, would have been amazing if we brought our kids and dogs as well. Very unique and well thought about. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who asked!

This is an awesome place! I use it as a halfway stop between the bay and bend. Temperature very comfortable in the evening, it does get hot once the sun is up. The owners take really good care of the place and they want guests to have a good stay. There's instructions on how to use everything, which is nice to have when you're not familiar with propane. I had water, coffee, shower, a comfortable bed and the Stars above, not to mention the sweet outside area with a picnic table and some lounge chairs under a gazebo. If the price stays in this range I would stay again 100%.. My first hip camp experience and it was great. I followed the instructions included in the listing and I got there with no problem in the middle of the night.

Weekend Trip to Alpen Vineyard Hideaway

We stayed there for a second time this summer. We like that we can rent the entire place and our dog can run free. My dog and I enjoy the water hole and the trail hike next to the camp. I never saw anyone else on my hike or at the water hole. The beds are very comfortable and the shower and bathroom is nicer than most hotels. It can be hot in the summer, but the camp has plenty of shade and it cools down in the evening. They provide drinking water and plenty of kitchen supplies. I made pancakes every morning. The area is quite beautiful and saw several deer and a fawn on my hike along the river near the trail.

This was an amazing experience! My friend and I stayed in the airstream (which had an ac) and kept us nice and cool. It was so spacious and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked inside the airstream and so was the one outside! Nancy provided utensils, pots, pans, etc. She even provided sheets for the beds. We were able to get a tour of all the alpacas and llamas and feed them! And the friendly barn cat greeted us every morning. Nancy even gave us a beautiful recommendation to go swimming at Lewiston Lake since the river was too cold. You can tell all the love that goes into this place. We will be staying here as often as possible. It has everything you could possibly need, even a flush toilet and a hot shower. Thanks for having us !

We loved our stay in this rustic cabin on the edge of the National Forest. We made lots of use of Hayfork Creek right on the property edge, cooked almost all of our meals there, and enjoyed the quiet and wildlife.

Weekend Trip to Perch Riverview Glamping

Our stay was wonderful. The view from the deck was amazing, the communal kitchen had everything you could need, and the bathroom and shower was clean and well stocked. Waking up and having a coffee while staring out across the river was magical.

1 night at Perch Riverview Glamping

Wow, wow, WOW! I’m sure there are fancier glamping experiences available. We weren’t looking for those. We enjoyed everything this offered with a slight caveat for me, the occasional punctuation of traffic noise. For its convenience, location, and everything offered here, the occasional noise of a vehicle passing is a very small cost. Perched above the river, we felt private. The amenities of showers (inside & out), toilet, running water, and outdoor kitchen, were all a very short walk. The bed was quite comfy and the tent quite clean. We were glad for the ease of ‘opening’ its window for breeze during the heat of our stay.

Weekend Trip to Aristocrat Acres

Wonderful short stay in Hannah’s trailer! Beautifully maintained and decorated with everything you’d need, with all the touches that make a tiny house into a tiny home. There was a fire ban in the area so we didn’t get to cook or enjoy the firepit, but they looked nice and the outdoor lights around the table were excellent. It is a residential area so wouldn’t come here for a loud night out in the woods, but enough distance from neighbors that it still felt private. There were perfect trees to setup a hammock, woke up to a diverse range of birdsong and saw a family of baby squirrels. Perfect for a family, would happily return!
