For "glamper" types who want to enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort, this large, enchanting family cabin near Shasta Lake is ideally situated on four private acres atop O'Brien Mountain, surrounded by forestland. Enjoy the beauty and serenity of a remote getaway while still being just minutes from some of the lake's best attractions, including Shasta Caverns, Holiday Harbor, and more. Gorgeous nature views, abundant wildlife, and a thoughtfully curated interior make this a can't-miss destination for both romantic getaways and family vacations. PRIVATELY OWNED This home is owned and operated by a single-property owner and co-hosted by a local family. Thank you for supporting small businesses. CAPACITY We're happy to accommodate up to 12 guests (including up to 9 adults), but we find the cabin is most comfortable for groups of eight or fewer. Beautiful family-sized cabin, which includes the following spaces: -Living Room: 2-story giant windows with scenic view, wood burning stove, TV -Bedroom 1: beautiful loft suite with: California King bed, TV, balcony deck -Sun Room: attached to Bedroom 1, with a single day bed and antique writing desk -Bedroom 2: Queen bed, work desk/vanity -Bedroom 3: large Camp-themed bunk room for kids, 3 Full-size beds, full-size hammock, desk/vanity, toys, bespoke campfire coffee table -Bathroom 1: en-suite to Bedroom 1, double vanity, oversized walk-in shower with 3 shower heads -Bathroom 2: in-ground soaking tub with large picture window/nature view -Kitchen: fully equipped with: fridge/freezer, ice/water maker, gas oven/stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, drink cooler, microwave, blender, toaster, pots and pans, cooking utensils, place settings for a large group, and island w/ 2 stools -Dining Room: seats 6 (14 seats total in all seating areas), window bench overlooking the mountains and giant oaks -Breakfast Area: seats another 4 people -Coffee & Tea Room: seats another 2 people, complimentary coffee and tea supplies, 3 types of coffee makers (pot, single serve, and french press) -Dry Bar: fully equipped. BYOB -Library Loft: board games, books, comfy seating -Laundry Room: washer, dryer, iron, baby crib, and other supplies Please Note: SECURITY CAMERAS For the safety and security of our property and its guests, we do have several outdoor security cameras in place to watch the driveway and building entry points. STEPS/ACCESSIBILITY Please note that at this time the house is unfortunately not easily accessible for wheelchairs. Both entrances do currently require using a couple steps.
