Anson and I continue to build everything ourselves with the help of our friends and family every now and again. Our process is that we source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. During the pandemic, we turned our venue into a campground so we could open up the venue to people who needed to get out into nature. We are now open for daily camping and private events. Great host. Lacy met us personally and showed us the land. Beautiful spot to lounge and avoid the city. the spot has wild life. We were car camping and found the coyotes are not afraid of people. Do not leave food or small pets outside. They came right to the car and our dogs were going crazy. We would go back for sure.

Splitrock was one of the biggest highlights of our trip from San Diego all the way up to San Fransisco RV camping all the way. We camped 11 nights and chose to spend three of them at split Rock, making it out last stop in the way back down. The grounds are AWESOME, tons of great walks and nature, extraordinary views at night, minimal light pollution so you could see many cobstillations and plants from the very cool observation deck. My son lived the goats. The bathroom and facilities were clean and ample throughout the grounds. We stayed at the communal campground and also at a Van Life site one night were we met some very cool folks who were also van camping. Great walks and light level hiking throughout. The folks we met camp hosting were also super friendly and helpful. Also, Fallbrook is very close by with a grocery store and a couple nice taco spots and stuff. Lastly, the drive up and back down to and from the grounds is incredibly beautiful with awesome twistys and excellent views. All in all, I could not recommend Splitrock more highly, and this is after camping up and down the coast in all sorts of places. 5 stars all day.

Weekend Trip to Zephyr Mountain Avocado Grove

My gf and I and her mom we tent camped at the Cityscape Farm View Summit and it was PERFECT, private, peaceful and the view was beyond amazing. Shane, was awesome and was very responsive and accommodating. Feels like you're truly out somewhere in Napa Valley. The farm was very beautiful, highly recommend and we will be back again SOON!

Weekend Trip to Campo Nopalito

I decided on a last minute spur of the moment camping trip with my pup and we loved Campo Nopalito so much! The cute and cozy A shaped cabin, fully stocked kitchen with pizza oven, eating and rest areas, bathroom, and beautiful grassy areas was convenient and perfect for a low effort camping experience. Jacob was very kind and helpful and we’ll definitely be back with pizza ingredients to try out the pizza oven next time.

The A frame was a nice cozy experience and the land around was clean, beautiful, and quiet. The fire pit near by gave a really nice ambiance and Jacob was super nice and accommodating. The shared kitchen, eating area, and common place was clean and a really nice homey touch. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up and I will absolutely be back!

This is such a beautiful spot. For my boyfriend and I's first camping trip with our dog this was absolutely perfect! The views were incredible, and we were so close to so many possible activities in the area. We came to hike and were delighted to know you could start a hike directly from your campsite! We also got to see the farm animals which was such a treat. Shane is the most accommodating, he made sure to explain everything we needed, was always one message away, and hand delivered our eggs/fruit that we purchased off the farm right when we bought them! I definitely hope we can make it back to the farm one day, and we recommend anyone who has this spot as an option to make the booking!

Weekend Trip to Thundering Hawk Retreat

Visiting was such a beautiful experience for my girlfriend and I. We went for Valentine’s Day and were greeted by the welcoming committee, the farm dogs on the property. Daniel was extremely helpful. The bell tent included two framed beds and a heater buddy. They picked wildflowers from the property for us. We had a lovely time being around nature.

Weekend Trip to Campo Nopalito

This is the perfect place for a San Diego getaway! It’s such a gorgeous property and A Frame to stay in. We had an awesome weekend hanging out and reading with the side open and making pizzas in the wood fired oven in the evening. Jacob and his girlfriend were super friendly and helpful, and the fruit we bought with passion fruits and kumquats is the best we’ve had anywhere. Camp dog Gertie is also sweet as can be and followed us around as we walked through the flowers. Would reccomend 11/10 and will definitely be back!

Currently, there is a table with two chairs but two more can be added if needed.

Was a great campground with a beautiful views of the Fallbrook area. Had a good time tent camping with a nice fire pit along it. Found that the local goats were so cute and the peace of being in the great outdoors was just what was needed to escape the hustle and bustle of city life!

Our time at Nopalito Farm was seriously awesome - Jacob & his partner were incredibly hospitable, the farm was beautiful, and our A-frame was super cute and clean. We got to cook in the wood fire pizza oven which was a blast. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need. We’ll definitely be coming back!

She generously allowed us to use her land as a filming location for our short film, and she was nothing but kind, communicative, and accommodating throughout the entire process. She made everything easy and stress-free, which meant so much to our small production team. The property itself was beautiful and exactly what we needed. Wow! What a wonderful campsite! My pup and I had such a peaceful stay. We enjoyed the views at night and loved exploring the farm in the morning. We used my rooftop tent, and the site was nice and flat.
