Head to Laguna Beach for some of the best RV camping on the Southern California coast.
Laguna Beach is famous for its surfing, sunsets, and Southern California vibes, making it a prime RV camping destination for beach lovers. In addition to large RV parks and resorts, a number of public state park campsites cater to RV campers. Just a few miles north of town, Crystal Cove State Park features beachside RV camping sites with hookups in addition to over three miles of beach and a backcountry section that treks through canyons and coastal ridges. South of Laguna Beach, Doheny State Beach also offers beachfront campsites for RVs—although they're dry sites with no hookups, potable water and a dump station are provided. Further south, San Clemente State Beach has 72 RV sites with full hookups and fire rings on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Beyond that, San Onofre State Beach offers RV sites with hookups, restrooms, and hot showers. Also set around Laguna Beach are a number of private RV campsites, many much more private than public sites and typically offering picnic tables and toilet access.
