Welcome to **Gemini Moon Ranch**, a hidden gem nestled in the rolling hills of De Luz just outside Temecula, CA. This 5-acre historic ranch offers guests a unique chance to reconnect—with nature, with history, and with themselves. Whether you're pitching a tent under the stars or settling into one of our rustic rooms, you’ll be surrounded by oak groves, native plants, and the peaceful soundtrack of birdsong and rustling leaves. The ranch is part of a living preservation project dedicated to honoring the legacy of California ranch life and the art of master craftsman Robert Morris, whose handmade metalwork still adorns parts of the property. During your stay, you’ll notice thoughtful details that blend history with charm, from vintage touches to handmade features. **Campers** will enjoy shaded spots beneath the trees, a year round creek, access to a communal outdoor kitchen and deck, and the serenity of being completely immersed in nature. Tucked beneath a canopy of ancient oaks, our creekside campsite offers a peaceful back-to-nature escape at Gemini Moon Ranch. Set away from the main house in a quiet wooded area, the site sits near our seasonal creek and feels wonderfully tucked away from everyday life. There’s space for a tent or small camper, with shade from mature trees and plenty of room to settle in and enjoy the surroundings. Wake to birdsong, watch for hawks overhead, wander the wooded trails or simply grab a chair and do absolutely nothing for a while. Guests have access to a shared outdoor shower, rustic bathroom, potable water, electricity, and our communal outdoor kitchen and gathering deck. A fire pit is available when local fire restrictions permit. Wildlife is part of life here. You may spot deer passing through, hummingbirds in the gardens, owls after dark and plenty of other creatures that call the De Luz hills home. With very little surrounding light, evenings can be especially beautiful for stargazing beneath the oaks. Gemini Moon Ranch was once the home of artist-builder Robert Morris, known for his distinctive architecture and metalwork throughout Old Town Temecula. Today, the ranch is being preserved as a place where history, art and nature come together. Your stay helps support the continued preservation and stewardship of this special property. Guests can also inquire about experiences offered at the ranch, including outdoor yoga, meditation, stained glass classes and historical ranch tours. We’re approximately 15 minutes from Old Town Temecula and within easy driving distance of Temecula Wine Country, while still feeling wonderfully removed from town. Welcome to The Artist’s Gallery at Gemini Moon Ranch, a spacious, one-of-a-kind retreat tucked beneath ancient oaks on our peaceful 5-acre historic ranch in the hills above Temecula. The Gallery sleeps up to 8 guests with a queen bed, twin bunk beds, and two full-size fold-out couches. It’s a wonderful choice for couples who want extra room, families, groups of friends, or guests simply looking for a quiet escape in nature. One of the highlights is the large private bathroom with an incredible soaking tub—perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The space also includes a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, sink, dishes, cups and utensils for simple meals and snacks. Step outside and enjoy the shared ranch grounds, including our outdoor kitchen and dining deck, fire pits, gardens, walking trails, rustic porches and peaceful seating areas beneath the oaks. The seasonal creek winds through the property, and there are plenty of quiet places to sit, read, journal or simply enjoy the surroundings. We booked this spot mainly for its proximity to an event we were attending, but it ended up being such a pleasant surprise. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and clearly well cared for. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, which made our stay feel even more comfortable. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to stay and fully explore everything the property has to offer. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to others!

Tracey & Pete have a beautiful cowboy oasis under stunning live oaks and alongside an idyllic swimmable stream. The entire place is an homage to architect, metal artist and sign maker Bob Morris who reimagined and helped create old town Temucula. They were friendly, had great stories to tell and we would love to revisit!

Tracy was an excellent host. The kitchen and dining areas are very comfortable and convenient and made tent camping enjoyable. Directions to the site were easy to follow. The property is unique and has plenty of sitting spaces.

The Artist’s Gallery Hideaway Space

Gemini Moon Ranch is a wonderfully unique and charming place. We stayed in the Artist Gallery and it was so cute and comfortable. We also did a stained glass class with Tracy which was amazing!! Will definitely be coming back for Soulful Sundays, one of their events and a girls weekend.

The Artist’s Gallery Hideaway Space

This property is very unique. It’s rustic but has so much charm. The trees, the wild life and the never ending wonderful quiet. We were 6 women 60s and 70s we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Gallery. Tracey and Pete, not only magnificent custodians of a site with such historical interest, they are the hosts we all wish to meet! If you feel like you need to unplug or unwind head out to this place, you won’t be disappointed. There are many nooks and cranny’s inside and out to sit and be quiet, or just talking. Something to enjoy!

If you're looking for the perfect escape from the city, I can't recommend Gemini Moon Ranch enough. This place is an absolute hidden gem! Originally built by the architect behind Old Town Temecula, it now thrives under the care of Tracy and Peter, the kindest, most welcoming hosts you’ll ever meet. You can bring your own tent or stay in one of their two incredibly unique, cozy rooms (each full of charm and character). From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping onto the set of an old western movie, complete with starry skies, peaceful mornings, and the sweetest animal crew (2 friendly dogs and 5 cats who might gently demand snacks 🐾). Whether you're into yoga, meditation, or just sitting still with a coffee in nature, this place delivers. It’s ideal for solo getaways, couple retreats, birthdays, or even a small wedding. Honestly, it’s a magical spot that leaves you feeling recharged and totally at peace."

Historic Ranch Campsite Under Ancient Oaks

Tent camping at Gemeni Moon Ranch was such a cool and unique experience. The 5 acre grounds is surrounded by beautiful trees and rustic architecture. Once you get to the grounds, It feels like you've been transported back in time to an old western movie. Tracy and her partner were amazing hosts and greeted us upon arrival with a tour of the entire property. Pets are welcome which was great because we got to bring our dog along for the adventure. There is an outdoor kitchen and bathrooms on site, as well as tables for eating and a cozy bonfire area. There is also a creek that runs through their property and you can hear the frogs singing at night which was awesome! I would highly recommend camping on their property. It was such a great way to spend a few days out of the city.

This place was so cute and such a great vibe. My husband and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and it was the perfect place. Our dogs had the best time playing in the creek
