Grandpa established and maintained the vineyards during his life in California's Central Valley which he left to his daughter, Irene. OrangeRay, home of Pixie's Place Animal Sanctuary and Hospice was founded in 2007, when I left L.A. for the forest by the river to create, and to expand my shamanic pursuits. Being that Three Rivers was home to the socialist Kaweah Colony in the 1800's; which helped in the founding of Sequoia National Park; the area is rich in history. Poet John Muir was enchanted and inspired by this area; Walt Disney fell under her spell as well when he envisioned a "Swiss Chalet" style resort which never came to fruition. The water wars of California began right here; gold rush...right here!
"Kaweah" is the name given by the Indians for the sound the Crow makes. Three Rivers literally sits on slabs of quartz crystal, making rock hunting superb! As an energy practitioner, the quartz heightens the healing process; as well as creating an energy vortex.
My property sits on an area that was once an Indian village, and then the school house for the children of the pioneers. There was a huge Hare Krishna Colony up here in the 60-70's.
As a photographer and filmmaker, the lighting up here is amazing! The night skies literally pulsate with their celestial canopy. A great spot to sky watch as well!
The property is not kid-friendly, and is not really here for children as much as it is offered for the inner child in adults. WE ARE 420 friendly which is in opposition to most "family" landscapes....so please note this is not personal but I prefer no children xo
Also, I prefer no pets, as it disrupts the balance here with the animal residents :)

22 acres of camp sites and another 40 acres nextdoor to a hang gliders and paragliders landing. We have restrooms with showers attached to a geodesic dome on property. BBQ , water at sites. A seasonal 2 acre pond. We are about 25mi from sequoia and Kings Canyon right off the Highway 180 and a close drive from restaurants, stores. Beautiful views. We strive to make sure you have an amazing experience in the outdoors. We are still working on making the campground 100% so sorry in advance but what we are lacking we will make up for it with making your experience memorable hope to meet everyone soon

OrangeRay, home of Pixie's Place Animal Sanctuary and Hospice was founded in 2007, when I left L.A. for the forest by the river to create, and to expand my shamanic pursuits. Being that Three Rivers was home to the socialist Kaweah Colony in the 1800's; which helped in the founding of Sequoia National Park; the area is rich in history. Poet John Muir was enchanted and inspired by this area; Walt Disney fell under her spell as well when he envisioned a "Swiss Chalet" style resort which never came to fruition. The water wars of California began right here; gold rush...right here!
"Kaweah" is the name given by the Indians for the sound the Crow makes. Three Rivers literally sits on slabs of quartz crystal, making rock hunting superb! As an energy practitioner, the quartz heightens the healing process; as well as creating an energy vortex.
My property sits on an area that was once an Indian village, and then the school house for the children of the pioneers. There was a huge Hare Krishna Colony up here in the 60-70's.
As a photographer and filmmaker, the lighting up here is amazing! The night skies literally pulsate with their celestial canopy. A great spot to sky watch as well!
The property is not kid-friendly, and is not really here for children as much as it is offered for the inner child in adults. WE ARE 420 friendly which is in opposition to most "family" landscapes....so please note this is not personal but I prefer no children xo
Also, I prefer no pets, as it disrupts the balance here with the animal residents :)

Loved camping on this site, the hosts were kind enough to provide a lamp for us to turn on and off as we like. Tons of space to place a tent and lots of space to dig for using the restroom as well. When going up to the ranch to dispose our trash it was beautiful and the trash cans were very easy to find. There was also a little faucet that they provided on site as well which was a nice surprise. Overall great experience and would come back! Thank you Michael!

Such a great place to stay close to the national parks. Easy access and great directions. It was so nice to be in the wilderness without neighbors. Water and electricity was a bonus. The pull thru was great for our travel trailer.

Camp Ikigai was one of my favorite stays. The scenery was amazing, and the property is vast, and would love to come back and explore more. Our host, Chad was a great help and very hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable. Their dog, Timber was adorable and social, stuck by us every time we were there, and kept guard for us. A very good boy. The site was stoner friendly, and when they say they have a stocked kitchen, they mean it. This place was great for just the two of us, but it’s even better for group camping, they’ve got it all. Me and my partner felt very safe, and would love to be back again.

What an amazing spot! It definitely is a retreat. It was so nice to have the Meade and wine tasting available but the big bonus for me was the handmade focaccia bread using their own garden ingredients.
The site is great, quiet and full of furry friends.
Kitties all around wanting to get some pets and Autumn who will love some pets.
Definitely will be back 🙏🙌

Weekend Trip to 3R Ranch Retreat w/ Wifi
Samir was a great host— the rv was perfectly stocked with heat, a clean kitchen, warm linens and towels. It was a close location to the park and a great stay for a weekend. I did not recognize that the water heater was controlled by the gas and you must turn it on/off outside as well as inside. So pro tip!

We were lucky enough to meet Cheryl and Randy after they were done working in the field. Cheryl told me the history of the area while Randy gave a tour of the tractor to our daughter. The land was beautiful but the hosts were the cherry on top of an incredible visit. We would visit again!

I enjoyed my stay here. Lots of land so you can choose to be more secluded or camp next to the other friendly campers. Spencer’s a great guy and his dogs are friendly. The amenities weren’t the best I’ve seen but they were available nonetheless. The price for a tent site is 100% worth it. Also, not included in the description of the site (unless I missed it) he has some dirt bike trails on property so that was a plus!

this site worked well both as a first night out campsite on my way down to Tucson from Southern oregon, and then again on the way back. There is not too much available camping along the I five and 99 corridors so this site helps to fill that void. Since I am a van camper, I appreciated the restroom on site. I had a peaceful nights sleep both nights I stayed.
