The trip to the site will begin with a three mile drive on a private dirt road. Being on the very top of a mountain brings more seasonality than the surrounding cities. Please be prepared for any kind of extreme weather. Summer: Shade is highly recommended it can get into triple digits. *Spring/fall: Temperatures are generally mild but high winds are possible. *Winter: Typically cold and windy. *During rainy/muddy conditions 4x4/AWD is highly recommended. It is possible for it to get windy, foggy, rainy, hot and sunny, and even sometimes snowy.
Please note: the nearest grocer is 30 minutes from this site. Emergency supplies are available for delivery to your campsite. Cell phone reception is good on most carriers. Pets are allowed. Enjoy your time howling at the moon, star gazing, bird watching/wildlife viewing, or relaxing with your favorite libation.

Since this is our first year renting our land we have found that August is a high wasp season time in the mountains. We are doing everything humanly possible to hunt down each and every Wasp for your enjoyment. The L3 Ranch was founded in 1974 when my grandfather bought the property for his show cows. In 1978, someone gave him a racehorse to pay off a debt. From then on, the property was known for its Quarter horse race horses, with some of the best in the state being born right here. In 2013 he found our he had cancer and handed the ranch down to me, Travis. While he survived the cancer, he's happy in retirement playing cards with his buddies every week and hanging out with his dog.Now the ranch is known for its horse boarding, cattle, and goats. The 20 acre property starts out flat and then gentle to moderate sloped hillside with coastal live oak trees, eucalyptus trees, pine trees, meadows and many interesting landscape features nestled between the vast farmlands of North Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties.
We are 15 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The weather is usually mild here and we have cool evenings. We do get days that are in the 90s sometimes in the summer and early fall, but we also have lots of shade with all the trees. There is wildlife like deer, turkeys and owls and so much more. We have horses and a donkey, separate from the campsites, so no flies or smell from them. We provide one hot water shower and there are 3 outhouse style toilets on the grounds.
There is NO running water at the sites so we suggest you bring your own drinking water. There will be limited water provided for hand/dish washing.

This is a very well located basic camp lot adjacent to pleasure point in the town of Capitola, CA. The hosts are friendly and effective - bathrooms, with showers are clean. Spots are close together but most campers had outside room to set up chairs, stoves etc.. The best part about this site is its location. I can pedal to anything I need as well as the beach. I will be coming back here. Thanks very much

I stumbled into the 92nd birthday of Lupin Lodge and it was so cute and fun! I successfully drove my 35ft long RV into and out of the super narrow and windey driveway with no issue! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The only issue was that dinner was so popular that the kitchen ran out of the main dish, but overall amazing weekend.

It was a quiet area with nice big trees and some shade, which was exactly what I needed. Brian, the host, brought us some cow treats to feed to the adorable cows, which we thought was a nice touch. It was so quiet and the campsite was pristine. Brian was very welcoming and help guide me backing in my Scamp. He made sure I had what I needed and left me to settle in.
The Highland cows made the experience outstanding. My dog really got a kick out of them.

We took our RV out for a quick one-day trip and had a wonderful time. The spot was incredibly clean, peaceful, and beautifully shaded. The cows on the property were absolutely adorable and so friendly! It’s also in a great location—only about 35 minutes from Sunset Beach. Huge shoutout to the owner, Brian, who was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Big open space in the Livermore Hills. Great for just hanging out and relaxing. There’s a nice patio area by the tasting room that they offered for us to use with fire pits. Be aware of no fire bans, since the hills can be quite dry.
Bathrooms are clean and easy to walk to. Tasting room was closed but Kelly was nice enough to allow us to buy some of her favorite wines. We ended up finishing both bottles!
Ground is a bit rocky so be prepared with cots or air mattresses if you are tent camping.

The Beach RV Pleasure’s land was very convenient and clean. The spaces are very close to neighboring campers though and the road noise at night was a little loud. . A bit pricey for the reservation as well which are a few drawbacks. The location is close to the ocean which was a plus. The bathroom and shower facilities were clean and there was plenty of hot water and pressure. I enjoyed my stay.

When we arrived, we weren't quite sure what to expect as there was a party going on and lots of cars but we met with friends of the owners who were very nice and said the party was over at 5. In all fairness we reserved a site that morning. At 5:00 all was quite and lovely. The winery and outdoor area is very charming. We notice that it looks like in the near future there will be 5 RV sites with power and sewer. We are self contained so didn't need any amenities for the night. I would definitely come back and stay either as a destination or stopover on our way through. I took some lovely pictures I'd love to forward to you.

Easy to find and very accessible. The tranquility was a definite plus. Being a single campsite was very nice. Site electrical worked great. Thank you for allowing my wife and I to stay here one night after Boots & Brews instead of driving all the way home.
