The buildings, five acre plot, and granite fixtures remain almost identical to the day they were built and are a constant project to maintain. Such a cool campsite! The views were spectacular and the site felt really private, while also being close enough to town that we got to enjoy Wildomar, Murrieta, and Temecula really easily. We loved hanging out in the shelter and watching the sunrise and sunset. We’d love to stay here again!

The area is nice. The cove#2 was shaded which made is pleasant. There are other areas with better views if that's something you care about. There was a place to start a fire in each spot, which is ideal to have a camp fire and sit around it. There are restrooms and also showers. Restrooms are clean

My gf and I loved tent camping at Vickis land! Amazing views and it felt like we had the whole campsite to ourselves. It was more then we expected. PERFECT overall, Vicki is super friendly and very helpful. Her lovely dogs were cute and respectful. We will definitely book again, we felt like we were in the clouds. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Great spot. Water and power hook up. Easy access. Short walk to the great bar at the bottom of the hill. Only down point is it is located next to two windy roads. Sports cars and bikes use these roads over the weekend, so can sound at times like a F1 race!

Nice private property for dispersed camping. Beautiful sunset snd sunrise! The Milky Way was crystal clear! The host is super generous and will do anything possible to accommodate guests. 10/10 will be back. I really liked that there was only one other group and I couldn’t even tell that they were there. PS: it’s super close to Julian - and trails.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The site had an incredible view which was perfect for watching the sunrise or sunset. It was easy to get to, well laid out, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The area felt very safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax and unwind. Overall, a great spot that I’d definitely come back to. Highly recommend!

Site 1 was a great spot, very clean and easy to pull into. Only noteworthy thing was the acorns raining down on our van all night. Friendly dogs greeted us a few times throughout the night and in the morning. Pet some goats as well :)

Weekend Trip to Villa Macala

Great campsite with fantastic views of the local mountains. The full hookup site we had was extremely nice, new, well setup with a clean picnic table and fire pit. The hilly area was fun to hike around and would be a terrific place for kids to run around and play. Weather was perfect with a nice breeze and clear sky’s. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking to get away from the city and spend time relaxing with family and friends.

Camped in the Oak Grove with our pups and it was perfect. Potable water access, clean restrooms, showers (luxury), directions were clear, and the mellow/welcoming vibes from everyone we encountered was a bonus. The goats and pups that roam the property were all friendly and I absolutely loved watching them wander through camp. Little bummed they stayed away because of our pups but glad we walked down to visit them in their area. Hoping to make it back to camp at different spots on the property and pet some goats 🤣. Definitely recommend visiting splitrock 🙌🏼

Had a great weekend at Rock Bottom. Spacious site, lots of privacy, fantastic views, friendly goat herd passed through camp in the middle of the day, no bugs, clean bathroom facilities.

It’s a large site! Can have the kids playing and feel safe since there is a big area. Also a good place to play kickball
