You can walk the property to observe the horses, or sign up for a special horse, tractor, or welding experience. Come camp in a very quiet and safe horse and farming area. We are near the end of a dead-end road. Our camping sites are somewhat private, some with more shade and others with more mid-day sun. We specialize in "Horse Experiences" tailored to your level of comfort and needs. None of the horse experiences listed on our site require any prior experience with horses. We will make sure you are safe and comfortable while working with the horses. *NOTE: Experiences are not available on Sundays (our sabbath day). We wanted to take our new van on its first overnight and Delta Shores is nearby! It was easy to find, we were welcomed and given the lay of the land. It’s a great spot with clean bathrooms. We were definitely rough out as our van hasn’t been converted to a camper yet but we had a blast! Took a great walk along the delta both in the evening and the next morning. Will return! Dog loved it!

2 nights at Stars + Mt. Diablo + Farm RV Pad

So peaceful! I'd love to see it in spring when the almonds are blooming. All I could hear was cows mooing in the distance and one coyote howl. It was a great stopover for a couple nights. To find it, you turn right onto a small gravel drive off of Crocker. If you get to W. Undine you've gone too far. The pad is covered in largish chunks of recycled concrete. My car and little camper handled it fine, though. There is water, 30A & 50A power and sewer. Bring drinking water, because even with an inline filter the water came out rusty. If you get a chance, stop by the office and pick up some raw walnuts and excellent biscotti.

My wife and I stayed for about 4 months, we loved it. Jaqueline was very friendly and they have the best pecans and walnuts that you can purchase! The only problem was the rocks and our pets feet. But we worked around that and they eventually got use to it. Water and electric hookups came in handy. I hope to stay again!

What an incredible camping experience for our Girl Scout troop! The hosts help create memories with our girls, feeding animals, getting to know the farm cats and dogs, "racing" horses, jumping on the trampoline and swinging on the swings, with on tents set up on soft grass and the hosts incredibly responsive to our communications via the app (quick to respond and act).

Weekend Trip to Canyon Creek Resort

The staff were very helpful and polite. I only wish they would mention on their website they no longer provide fire rings. You will have to bring your own if you want to have a fire. The pool was clean and everyone seemed happy to be there. Note to self. We will make sure to place our RV the farthest point possible away from the road. We could hear cars whizzing by at night.

1 night at Hirst Horse Ranch

We had a wonderful time at Hirst Horse Ranch. The area is beautiful and the kids had so much fun tent camping, riding horses, jumping on the trampoline, running through the sprinklers and learning about the different plants and animals on the ranch. The hosts were amazingly friendly and the kids instantaneously felt so comfortable around them and asking them questions. We hope to come back again soon.

We loved Heather and Ed’s wonderful property! We did so many fun things: water gunfights, kayaking, swimming, cowboys training (ax throwing and roping cow), and stargazing. And that was only the first day! On the second day we went on a five-hour kayaking trip with Ed’s help. Truly amazing experiences. We fell in the river at least three times but it was great fun. Already recommended your place to one of our Boy Scout leaders. We will definitely come back again. :-)

At one point Ed was teaching the other campers how to lasso and he was giving me fishing pointers. Special mention to Blue and Axel (pups) that played with my kids by the waters. Weekend Trip to Snug Harbor RV Park & Marina

We were backed right to the slough with our own boat dock if needed. Water front within 25'. Definitely a cool getaway, within 60 miles of Sacramento. This place is totally pet friendly with numerous poop stations and a fenced in dog park. During our stay, they had done tacos, breakfast burritos, and a movie night. During the day on Saturday they had a jet ski show as well! Campsite are side by side with full amenities water, sewer, and electric. Some spots have better shade, however we will know what we're looking for at the next opportunity to come out!

We camped at Canyon Creek for a relaxing little getaway. The setting was peaceful, and the small on-site store was a nice surprise we even found these fun, colorful drinks that added fun vibes. We were a bit disappointed that the hot tub was out of service, since that was one of the main reasons we booked. The pool was a nice backup, though it could use a debris catcher to keep it cleaner. The Wi-Fi worked for basic browsing, but not for streaming. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would go back just better prepared next time.

We camped there with our 30ft Class C for just one night. Great things about the place; quiet and pretty ( nice trees and grass, surrounded by cornfields on 3 sides and the river on the other.) A great wall of blackberries, fresh for the picking. Swimming pool was a nice feature, camp host was great. Not so great, hot tub not very hot, pool could be cleaned. Nothing fancy, but a nice place.

Very good RV resort with all the needed amenities, they even had game room and lot of fun activities for kids too. Kid friendly place as I saw lot of family around. The restrooms need a bit of upgrade though .it has a nice river dock across the street . Don’t have any stores nearby but uber eats will deliver food and groceries
