Our cabin is in the Santa Lucia mountains and immersed in nature. Please be aware that wildlife is apart of the rugged Big Sur Coast and mountains. Wildlife encounters are something that is not out of the ordinary. From raccoons, skunks, deer, mountain lions, bats, mice, spiders snakes and all types of birds. We have exceeded measures of to keep occurrances to a minimum and have monthly pest control services. BUT can't guarantee you will not be met with wildlife. ANY ENCOUNTERS DURING YOUR STAY, WILL NOT BE ISSUED A REFUND. If you do not feel comfortable with the paragraph, then please do not book our cabins. Recommendations in Big Sur is Ventana Inn, Post Ranch or something in Carmel or Monterey. 1 Dog allowed, pre-approved by owner and $70fee. No aggressive breeds. Under 50 lbs. Must be leashed, picked up after, not allowed on furniture or left alone. Not allowed in the lofted sleeping area, due to step stairs, open railings. Not safe for animals! If you have a hairy dog, please keep the hair swept and under control. It is not fair for our cleaners to do de-fur the cabin. We allow dogs as a wonderful courtesy and don't want it abused. There is NO cell reception in our area, due to the mountain range. You loose reception once you leave Carmel and head south, or leave Big Sur and travel north to the property. WIFI is available but can be intermittent due to rural location. Text and wifi available, no cell reception, once logged into our internet. INTERNET IS NOT GUARANTEED DURING YOUR STAY. At the beginning of our road, it has a "road closed sign". You CAN get to our cabin. Our road is residential and a dead end. So there is not need to go past our cabin. All hiking and site seeing is along Hwy 1.

This is a peaceful space centrally located in Felton. The Buddha room comes with an outdoor kitchen, a living room, and a shower under the Redwoods under covered patios and pergola. The entrance covered porch can sleep one (in the blow up bed) and is a reading/mediation nook and the 1/2 bath. This entrance has a smart lock code, that you will get in a message. The room is attached to the house on the back end with your own entrance through (covered porch) and sleeps two in the cozy sofa bed. Sheets and pillows are stored in the sofa, lift up the long side and pull out the other to create a bed. You have shared use of the whole back property. The spa studio is locked and has a clientele booked during the day. But if not in use you can lounge in there if you ask or book some healing treatments. . We had a great time staying in this cozy airstream. In a safe residential area surrounded by redwood trees and the peaceful sounds of crickets at nights. About a 20-30 minute drive to Santa Cruz. Loved that we were able to park so close to the spot. It helped with loading and unloading. The bed was so comfortable and just the recharge we needed. First night we brought our cast iron to make a steak on the stove. Plates, pots, and other utensils were provided. The Apple TV was also a nice touch. Rebekkah was super responsive. We had such a great time with our pup! We def recommend checking out this spot!

The yurt was clean and cozy. The heater worked so well and I loved having a kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable! We love the yurt. It is obvious how much love and effort is poured into it. Thank you! We loved the alpacas, the evening fog in the Eucalyptus trees and the cat. We found the compost toilet to be more comfortable than we thought as well.

second time here, first time flying solo. it was marvelous. the most quiet 4th of july ever. no noise. just peace. i watched movies, had delicious food that i cooked, had a nice hot shower, and was plenty comfortable hanging in the cosy bed. truly such a great staycation spot. rebekkah was truly so hospitable once again. so glad i booked last minute to enjoy a delightful second stay.

A hidden gem, I cannot recommend this site enough! I was driving in from a week long stretch of camping, and the relaxation & peace of the airstream was just what I needed. My dog and I enjoyed morning walks through the redwoods in this quiet, safe neighborhood. Rebekkah was quick to respond to any questions, all while maintaining our privacy. Comfortable bed, cute camper, all the kitchen amenities we needed, and good wifi connection to catch up on some work. I felt like we could stay here forever!

our anniversary! a sweet kitty cat welcomed us. we crunched through eucalyptus leaves and we're greeted by turkeys and jays and lizards. the yurt was so cozy and had all the comforts of home, but we could still hear the leaves rustling in the wind at night and needles pattering gently on the canvas roof. not a far drive from watsonville, good food there and great thrifting! a little further and you're at the beach! great location, magical sleeping arrangements! thanks Travis and Emory and the rest of the residents and staff 💜

Terra Cultura is a hidden gem. Copper (my dog) and I enjoyed our little adventure immensely. I loved hearing the wind move through the eucalyptus tress while in the yurt an identifying the various bird calls. I saw a great horned owl soaring through the trees and heard its song each night. Copper met his first alpaca! Emory and the other resident were lovely people and easy to chat with. I highly recommend a visit to Terra Cultura!

Terra Cultura was a lush and serene place to spend the weekend. Emory and Travis were warm, helpful, and responsive to our inquiries and needs. I highly recommend staying in the Skyline Yurt. It's simple and spacious with more amenities (running water, heat, good light) than I thought possible in a yurt.
