This is a must hangout spot during the evenings for many guests before they hike back up to the campsite to retire for the night. There is also a portable toilet at the barn for guest convenience.
Moon Crest Valley Ranch is located less than 10 minutes from the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay and 15 minutes from scenic Main Street Half Moon Bay.
We are also only 1/2 mile away from the Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve Trailhead that has an additional 30+ miles of gorgeous trails to explore. Bring your hiking shoes or bike!

We are deep in the Santa Cruz mountains and it’s rustic so be prepared! The road is all paved but it can be narrow, bumpy and steep in some areas. Be sure to follow our directions to bypass the road closure! There is no cell phone service in some areas.
PLEASE NOTE, we do not have a trash service for the campground, we require all campers to PACK OUT THEIR TRASH with them!
We have 40 acres of redwood forest and two creeks running through including the Amaya Creek which serves the boundary of our property at the end of Amayak Creek Trail. There’s also a small waterfall off the Amaya Creek Trail, but it may dry out during the summer. Enjoy hiking, creeks and small waterfall exploration, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, star gazing, relaxation, meditation and more.
Our campground has running water from a natural spring, Men and Women's Restrooms each with 2 toilets and 1 FREE hot water shower, utility shed with sink and hot water, and an outdoor amphitheater. The kitchen and washer/dryer is Staff Only not for campers. .
Most campsites allow 4-6 guests maximum with 1 car included in the nightly rate. Each additional vehicle is $15 per day and will be added at checkout once you add the correct number of vehicles you will be bringing.
Pets are $10 per day, 1 pet per group ONLY. Please add this as an extra at the time of booking, you will see the option to add extras once you begin the checkout process. Dogs must be on leash at all times!
Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. No drugs of any kind including marijuana allowed. No loud music allowed. This is a private property so no visitors are allowed, only paid guests. Our onsite staff will go around and enforce the rules.

This is a peaceful space centrally located in Felton.
The Buddha room comes with an outdoor kitchen, a living room, and a shower under the Redwoods under covered patios and pergola. The entrance covered porch can sleep one (in the blow up bed) and is a reading/mediation nook and the 1/2 bath. This entrance has a smart lock code, that you will get in a message.
The room is attached to the house on the back end with your own entrance through (covered porch) and sleeps two in the cozy sofa bed. Sheets and pillows are stored in the sofa, lift up the long side and pull out the other to create a bed. You have shared use of the whole back property. The spa studio is locked and has a clientele booked during the day. But if not in use you can lounge in there if you ask or book some healing treatments. . The spa also uses the 1/2 bath on the covered porch. Melissa will give you times when you arrive.

The neighborhood has a park that is across the street, a great walking loop, and a pool. The pool is only open during the Summer and when a lifeguard is present. You will need me to walk you in. Just let me know if you want to float in our neighborhood pool.

This is one of the greatest places i’ve ever stayed!! I’ve stayed at a lot of glamping-type places, and this one is top tier. Every bit of the space is SO beautiful, so thoughtfully done and beyond relaxing. It’s a perfect mix of comfort & has really nice balance with the indoor/outdoor areas - there’s a nice cozy RV pod for sleeping, lots of heaters everywhere & the outdoor kitchenette & outdoor shower are both soo lovely. Stayed in the middle of February and was very warm at night with the heated blanket in the RV :)) Melissa is a phenomenal and super welcoming host who really cares about her guests! I would absolutely recommend this place is you find yourself nearby!!

Had a wonderful experience in this peaceful and amazing space, so much so that as soon as I left I was already looking into booking another experience in the future. . Big Sur accommodated exactly the needs I envisioned for my 30th birthday with my closest friends. We all adored the property so much and wish we could have extended. Though small, it definitely provided enough space and sleeping arrangements for my group. Thank you Saddle Mountain! Can’t wait to return ◡̈

Weekend Trip to The Coastal Redwood Cabin | Creek
This is a lovely place to go for a little R&R! Easy to get to, serene location nestled within the redwoods. There's stairs that lead you to the river. Comfortable bed and good quality bedding, complimentary snacks and coffee. We went in November so the hottub was perfect for the cool nights. Close by Capitola, which we love to visit and did some hiking at Nisene Mark's State Park. We recommend this spot and may be back next year.

We had the greatest time!! Spent a weekend with our 15 month old and two dogs. There was so much for our toddler to explore, plus enough privacy to not have to worry about our dogs barking at every little noise. Gorgeous property, convenient location, thoughtful accommodations, wonderful host. Will definitely come back to enjoy the summer season!

Weekend Trip to Moon Crest Valley Ranch
We had such an incredible experience here! My friend and I stayed here for some yapping and immersing in nature time together over the weekend - the land is BEAUTIFUL overlooking some incredible canyons. There’s so much to do here, we frolicked around on some hikes, played a bit of baseball up on the hill, made a campfire and enjoyed the complimentary smore kit. Brendan provided absolutely everything we needed - he was such an incredible and thoughtful host, greeted us when we arrived and also gave us a tour of the land! Overall, 10/10 experience, and I feel so fortunate to have been able to spend time here and would highly recommend staying for the weekend.

Beautiful land with spectacular views, birdsong and lovely farm animals. We were in nature but all essential amenities were thought of, and there were tons of games and activities for the entire family. Beautiful trails on property. Brendan was warm and welcoming, and visited the farm animals with our 5yo which he loved. We'll definitely be back.

This was the best little cabin glamping ever. 5 of us ate, played games, slept well and relaxed in the hills of Carmel. We had no neighbors which made it feel like our own little mountain paradise. Weekend Trip to Saddle Mountain Carmel
Tent setup and amenities were everything we needed them to be! Staff was super friendly when we got in. Didn’t have any issues with noise (we were in the last tent down the road) and didn’t mind the short walk to the bathroom. Enjoyed using the sauna in the morning - it didn’t get too hot but we still got a decent sweat in! The zippers on the tent were a little beaten up but otherwise everything was great.
