Let us know if you are celebrating an event * CHECK-IN is after 4:00pm and please give us a 30 min heads-up before your arrival. CHECK OUT is 10am, unless previous arrangements have been made. Please be as specific as you can regarding your arrival time (so I can make the temp in there as comfortable as possible, turn on lights as needed, etc.) ** We are a "Bed and Breakfast"; most days we have other day-guests and events here, so please respect the arrival and check-out times. If you stay 2 nights, please be aware that you most likely won't have the whole farm to yourselves during the day. This is an animal farm. If you love new animal experiences, this is the place for you! If you are scared of or allergic to cats or dogs, this might not be the place for you! If you can't handle new smells and sounds, this might not be the place for you. You will feed and enjoy the animals; please respect their space, no chasing and no going into their enclosures. There is dirt, dust and various country critters. We love Country Life!! If you are adventurous and love animals and want a unique experience, come check us out! Restroom available in the main house (short walk from the cabin). Small fridge and microwave next to the restroom. There is no kitchen/oven/stove available. Gas Fire pit available ; there is no BBQ. We are exceptionally cautious with camp fires. If it is particularly hot and windy, there will be no fires. We now have a gas fire pit where you can create smores or just enjoy the campfire ambiance. Price is $175 for the Flying Pig (up to 5 total). Another option (as an add-on): you can pitch a tent for $45. "The Flying Pig" has a queen bed, bunk beds twin size, and a loft with a twin mattress, all bedding included. You are not just paying for a place to sleep; you are paying for an experience and the enjoyment of our property :-). We serve a continental breakfast (free) or hot breakfast ($35/cabin) between 8-9am. (we can accommodate vegetarian and dairy free diets; let us know before you come). We provide bedding and towels. There is A/C and a plug-in heater in The Flying Pig. Please do not bring additional things to plug in except for chargers for phone/electronic devices. We are approximately 1 1/2 hours south of San Francisco, 30 min south of San Jose (without traffic). Gilroy Gardens is 15 min away; Harvey Bear County park is 1 mile away; Monterey and Santa Cruz and the Pinnacles National Park are approximately 1 hour away. We recommend bringing dinner or eating before arrival to maximize your evening. Contact us for more info. If you want to celebrate a birthday and bring friends for the evening, there is an additional fee for parties. (Please contact us about this). PLEASE READ: Hello all! If you're looking for some glamping with creature comforts, while just being 10 minutes away from restaurants. This is the place for you. We are a 5 acre property and home surrounded by tall redwood and oak trees. Very green and lots of shade. These are the amenities/facilities you will have free access to: Pool, Pool chairs and umbrellas, Deck area with sunset view, Trampolines, and hammocks. There is not cooking allowed by or at any of the common areas, due to flies and critters. Cooking and eating is only allowed by your sites and not in any common areas: Hammocks, Trampolines, Pool Area, tables, sink, and deck please follow this rule because we want to prevent our shared areas to be fly and bug infested. We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). In the past we let people cook and eat around the pool but now our whole property is fly infested and I find scattered leftovers on the ground. Thanks for understanding. THERE IS A 1-2 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5! Poolside campsites are closer to the parking and are bigger. CHECK OUT OUR NEW LODGING: This property is my home that I live in with my 2 kids. It is a rustic and homey vibe, definitely not a hotel. We want you to come knowing what to expect. Our property offers a pool, and trampolines for the kids. We have a deck patio area that overlooks an amazing view of the redwood forest. Most of our guests are those that come from foreign countries and they all LOVE the property. I love leaving a great impression of our area. CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES Pack out your trash. Rinse feet before using the pool. No pool toys or floaties. Always supervise kids. Don’t sit on chair edges or pool cover box. Use stumps or your own table for cooking (not ours). Keep the area clean—no food scraps on the ground. No dogs in the pool area; leashes and cleanup required. No eating in rooms or cabin. Check out on the deck. No smoking (vapes only, away from common areas). This was a lovely, restorative escape from the city! We loved every part of our stay. The tent was clean, comfortable, and easy to access. The site was so serene, well maintained, and quiet. The site is still close to a store, wineries, hikes etc so there is plenty to do around. Shelly was very considerate to leave extra blankets and trash bins which was very thoughtful. I got the best sleep I’ve had in a while and woke up to turkeys, deer, and all sorts of birds. I will be back! Thank you, Shelly, for your hospitality. 😊

1 night at Saddle Mountain Carmel

We really enjoyed staying at our site, not too far from bathrooms and fairly secluded. Room was very neat and set up great. Provided heated blanket was a life saver and perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the whole camp. Restrooms very clean and private.( they were a little tight ) showers had hot water clean floors. Our spot was a little hard to find without help but we managed after a second loop. Overall great time, would like to revisit and stay a few days.

Had the absolute best time at Sacred Owl Land. The stay here for the weekend was nothing but peaceful, beautiful, quiet, and a perfect way to reset and recharge completely unplugged with nature. A beautiful yoga room to stretch, hammocks to relax, hot tub to unwind, a fire pit for s’mores, and of course we can’t forget the amazing view of all the beautiful trees! We had a wonderful stay at this yurt! Check-in was easy, and Bridgette and Curtis warmly welcomed us and showed us around when we arrived. The yurt was quiet, peaceful, and had everything we needed—a comfy bed, hot shower, stovetop, mini fridge, microwave, and even fresh lemons from their tree. My husband and I were able to reconnect with nature and enjoy some much-needed time together. There was no Wi-Fi, but we could get a bar of service to check in with our babysitter and kids. Honestly, it felt great to unplug and disconnect for 24 hours. Bridgette and Curtis were kind hosts who gave us plenty of privacy after check-in. This is a great glamping spot, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
