We have four lovely Glamping sites at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park and 25 miles of hiking trails, nestled in the glorious chaparral of the Mayacama Mountain Range and Sonoma Hills, deep in the heart of wine country. The cost is $150 per night on weekends (Fri and Sat) and $125 per night on weekdays (Sun-Thurs). There is a 2-night minimum stay required between Memorial Day and Labor Day. In our family-friendly campground, our tents are 16-Foot Canvas and come with one queen-size bed, two futon lounge chairs (May be converted to twin beds), rugs, tables, lighting, and complementary firewood the first night. At no additional cost, we can add up to two twin beds to each tent upon request to sleep up to 6 people. 8 people max allowed at the campsite. The glamping sites include a picnic table, fire ring, outdoor seating, and room for additional tents if desired. All sites are easy walking distance to flush toilets and a bathhouse, with large, clean, coin operated hot shower rooms. There is no cell service in the park, but free WiFi is available at the Visitor Center. PLEASE NOTE that Bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets) IS NOT included in a standard rental, but is available as an add-on. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bedding whenever possible. If no bedding is added, we will assume a one-queen setup with mattress covers only. We kindly ask guests to provide at least 48-hour notice if bedding will be required. We will always try to accommodate last-minute requests, but we cannot guarantee this. PETS and SMOKING ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE our glamping tents! This is strictly enforced, and you WILL be charged a $150 cleaning fee for any violation of this policy. Parking: Your reservation includes parking for one vehicle. There is an additional $10 per night per vehicle charge for more than one vehicle, which you can pay for at the Visitor's Center upon check-in. Please note that a $25 setup/cleaning fee is charged per reservation, plus a booking fee. Since 2012, operation of Sugarloaf Ridge State Park has been spearheaded by the Sonoma Ecology Center. Operating under AB42, the SEC efforts have resulted in a revitalized park that engages with all of our community and welcomes visitors from all over the country and the world.

About the Listing: Come park your RV on our property and set up camp at a beautiful spot right next to the pond. You should expect to see us on the property, though your site is well away from the house We have minimal electrical and we do have water hookups available for your RV, we do allow generators. There is a BBQ grill that you are welcome to use for cooking some wonderful meals if you'd like! You can enjoy a bite to eat at the picnic table near your campsite. There is also potable water from our natural spring available onsite for guests. You can enjoy watching the birds, turkeys and deer that meander through the meadow, and feel free to roam around the property taking in the fresh outdoor air! Cooking and eating is only allowed by your sites and not in any common areas: Hammocks, Trampolines, Pool Area, tables, sink, and deck please follow this rule because we want to prevent our shared areas to be fly and bug infested. We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). In the past we let people cook and eat around the pool but now our whole property is fly infested and I find scattered leftovers on the ground. Thanks for understanding. THERE IS A 1-2 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5! Poolside campsites are closer to the parking and are bigger. CHECK OUT OUR NEW LODGING: This property is my home that I live in with my 2 kids. It is a rustic and homey vibe, definitely not a hotel. We want you to come knowing what to expect. Our property offers a pool, and trampolines for the kids. We have a deck patio area that overlooks an amazing view of the redwood forest. Most of our guests are those that come from foreign countries and they all LOVE the property. We have four lovely Glamping sites at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park and 25 miles of hiking trails, nestled in the glorious chaparral of the Mayacama Mountain Range and Sonoma Hills, deep in the heart of wine country. The cost is $150 per night on weekends (Fri and Sat) and $125 per night on weekdays (Sun-Thurs). There is a 2-night minimum stay required between Memorial Day and Labor Day. In our family-friendly campground, our tents are 16-Foot Canvas and come with one queen-size bed, two futon lounge chairs (May be converted to twin beds), rugs, tables, lighting, and complementary firewood the first night. At no additional cost, we can add up to two twin beds to each tent upon request to sleep up to 6 people. 8 people max allowed at the campsite. The glamping sites include a picnic table, fire ring, outdoor seating, and room for additional tents if desired. All sites are easy walking distance to flush toilets and a bathhouse, with large, clean, coin operated hot shower rooms. There is no cell service in the park, but free WiFi is available at the Visitor Center. PLEASE NOTE that Bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets) IS NOT included in a standard rental, but is available as an add-on. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bedding whenever possible. If no bedding is added, we will assume a one-queen setup with mattress covers only. We kindly ask guests to provide at least 48-hour notice if bedding will be required. The space fitted our 27 foot Airstream easily and the views were spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset when the tule fog happened to be in the valley and we floated above.

I had a wonderful stay here. The silence, stars, multitude of birds (including Sandhill Cranes!), water, and joyful farm animals were restorative for my soul. The rustic and charming cabin was delightful with a window view of splendid sunsets, cool art and stylistic decor, an efficient heater, and a spacious bathtub. The hosts were gracious, responsive, welcoming, and thoughtful; they went above and beyond in making sure my stay went well.

So peaceful! I'd love to see it in spring when the almonds are blooming. All I could hear was cows mooing in the distance and one coyote howl. It was a great stopover for a couple nights. To find it, you turn right onto a small gravel drive off of Crocker. If you get to W. Undine you've gone too far. The pad is covered in largish chunks of recycled concrete. My car and little camper handled it fine, though. There is water, 30A & 50A power and sewer. Bring drinking water, because even with an inline filter the water came out rusty. If you get a chance, stop by the office and pick up some raw walnuts and excellent biscotti.

We loved our glamping experience at Sugarloaf SP! The tent was spacious and cozy with comfortable beds and plenty of places to sit and hang out. We rented the heater which was much appreciated when the temp dropped and some rained moved in. We appreciated our first bundle of firewood. All of the staff was very friendly and quick to help out if we needed something. They also keep the bathrooms super clean and well stocked and a short walk from any site. The center of the campground being a beautiful meadow with lots of wildlife at night and clear skies show a perfect view of the starry night. We would definitely stay again.

Bill’s land was one of the best hip camps I have ever stayed at! The Indonesian bedroom was so serene and I slept like a baby with the heated bed. The bathroom was so beautifully decorated with ornate paintings, little treasures, and the stained glass window was intricately stunning. The hot tub was a bonus and it was extremely close to the town of Petaluma and hiking trails. You definitely should stay here for a romantic getaway!

After a week in the bustle of Carmel and Carmel Valley we needed a quiet place to stay going north. A three plus hour drive to the ranch was enough. Having a perfect place to camp by ourselves and not having to deal with anyone was ideal. A few cows came up the fence and checked us out. The night was dark and very quiet and being treated as a capable adults and taking care of ourselves was ideal. Will definitely stay there again.

This is our second time to this beautiful property and we will return again. Doug and Denise are both very warm and welcoming. They are the perfect combination of offering help if needed but also giving us our space. The property is just beautiful with a river you can walk to and so many varieties of mushrooms. Don’t forget to look out for the banana slugs!

My wife and I stayed for about 4 months, we loved it. Jaqueline was very friendly and they have the best pecans and walnuts that you can purchase! The only problem was the rocks and our pets feet. But we worked around that and they eventually got use to it. Water and electric hookups came in handy. I hope to stay again!

I loved our glamping spot. The free complimentary firewood on the first night and free complimentary extra mattresses were nice for my family and I. the mountain views 360 all around were so pretty! It was also very shaded. We saw many deer, quail, and squirrel by our tent was a treat for my children. The restrooms were not horrible. There is also an observatory nearby so we got to view the stars at night. It was a pleasant trip. The glamp itself was nice and furnished, perfect for my family who usually have a very hard time camping in nature.

Ceci and Steve were so warm and accommodating for my dog and I last minute. I couldn't have imagined a better place to reset. This was my first time using hipcamp. I was set on finding a cozy inn to retreat to for the weekend and get somewriting done. Of course everything was booked or insanely expensive so I turned to hipcamp and I truly couldn't have planned it better. The cabin had everything I needed to be comfortable. You could really tell that so much thought went into every little detail. From the clawfoot tub, to porch with the little fenced in yard. Every light was on a dimmer! I was so charmed by this as someone who works with light a lot (photographer) and love creating ambiance! Clearly they poured their hearts into creating such an amazing space. I kept joking to my friends the cabin was like a storybook and I felt like I was the Celestial Seasons Bear. They were both so sweet to my dog Beaux and we had lots of nice walks around the property and beyond. Only downside was it was a bit muggy and buggy at times so definitely prepare if you're sensitive to mosquitos or other critters. This was no fault of Ceci & Steve's and to be expected when visiting the Delta! Oh, and there really were so many amazing birds to view and the sound of birdsong and coyotes throughout the day and night. The whole experience was so dreamy and relaxing and I definitely want to go back!

We stayed at the Creek Site and it was perfect for my partner, pup and me. Doug and Denise were both super welcoming and took us down to the site as it is away from their home. It’s a short hike down to the creek, and worth it! It’s so magical down there. As far as location, it’s in the mountains and close to both the ocean and Santa Cruz. Great spot and would go again! As expected, totally off the grid – no cell service.
