Unfortunately, due to poor planning on my part,I was not able to stay at John's property. HOWEVER! I want to emphasize what a great communicator he was, always quick to respond. That's reassuring when you are on the road! Plus, he did not find out till late in the game (MY fault) abut me being a no-show, and he was very honest and refunded my fee. His character speaks volume for him!

John’s Little Yellow House is a gem! John met us when we arrived and helped us to get parked. He gave us the highlights of the communal kitchen , his art studio and amazing garden. We enjoyed “social distance” visiting in the evening and really appreciated the easy conversation and gifts of veggies.
John topped off our visit by surprising us with fresh strawberry and amazing cantaloupe before we departed! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Definitely stay here. The gardens are beautiful. Todd is awesome and one of the most generous men I’ve ever met. The veggies are tasty and just an all around super chill hostel vibe. Stay here for sure

Sometimes you just find a true gem... and this is one of them! It is in the city which is convenient for restocking and refueling, whatever your traveling needs. It's also quiet and comfortable enough for a good stress-free nights sleep, if that's all you need. The host is an absolutely stellar dude. Super laid-back and just a genuinely decent person. All about what we as people can do for each other. Fresh veggies from the garden, and the outdoor kitchen is adorable and sustainable. If you're just tired of roughing it on your trip and looking to be in good company with chill, Earth conscious folk, this is the place to be!

Hot tub!Walkway to the smaller tent site. All of the dish and cookware you need, with a bonus cabinet for dried goods. (Take what you need, leave what you don't!)Dish Station to the left and some mood setting fairy lights.

We were traveling through with friends while maintaining strict social distancing. We could not make it to our original stop, so booked at the last minute. The space accommodated our small RV and a teardrop. It was decorated with cute artistic touches with John's up-cycled art. He was a great host. There was coffee to greet us in the outdoor kitchen in the morning. He even shared his delicious veggies from his beautiful garden.

We bought this awesome art piece "Sunset Cliffs".

John is SO awesome! We arrived late and there was no problems, we had everything we needed. In the morning we hung out with John and had great conversation. Really a stellar dude. He gave us veggies from his garden and a super cool art piece (like seriously guys it’s so cool, going in my living room.) there’s also a hot tub, a sweet kitty, and good good vibes. It was hard for us to leave, but we will definitely be going back to hang with John!!!

Veggie bins “take what you want, leave what you want”One of many cool art pieces This is the hangout area with benches chair and table on the other side of the wall. Also the kitchen.Fresh veggies we took with us on the road, so good btw
