This property is the perfect place to escape the city and immerse yourself in nature. Nestled in the mountains of the high desert, we invite you to come stay in a peaceful serene setting, where beautiful natural desert scenery and mountain views surround you. The 40 minute hike to the Deep Creek Hot Springs is well worth the effort, and there's so much more natural beauty to see as you explore miles of hiking and OHV trails nearby and right on the property. Weather can be extreme at times, with Winter temps ranging from 20*F to 40* F, and Summer temps peaking at 112F. The cold creek water in the Deep Creek canyon flows all year around, and the 6 creek-side hot spring pools are always full and consistently hot all year around, ranging in temperatures between 90F-108F. The hike to the Deep Creek Hot Springs is fairly steep and can be difficult for some people, especially in warm weather. In order to be prepared with the correct gear to make this hike and know the USFS rules that apply to the area, please educate yourself before coming by visiting the USFS website page for the Deep Creek area and our webpage for the Deep Creek Hot Springs Campground for detailed driving directions to the official trailhead located right on our property. You won't get lost if you park on our property and hike from the trailhead, so make sure you go to the right address. Know before you go! Generally, reservations are not necessary to set up a tent site, but we have a more private area set aside for hipcamp reservations that has separate facilities from the general camping area. We do not recommend bringing children due to occasional nudity that may be seen in the area and the degree of difficulty for the hike. The hike to the hot springs is fairly difficult and everyone’s physical fitness needs to be considered when deciding to take pets, or have children, elderly people, or out-of-shape/over-weight people in your group.Nature and wildlife encompasses you on this rural property that is surrounded by 1,000s of acres of undeveloped BLM and Forestry land. Come escape from the city and relax at a place where you can enjoy yourself amongst others or be by yourself in your own private campsite. With 160 acres, there is lots of space to spread out or find a more private site to seclude yourself! Set up your campsite and park your vehicle at any of our developed sites that have a patch of turf, picnic tables and fire pits (bbq grills available). Flushing toilets and pits toilets, potable water, and showers on site. The main hiking trail starts right on our property, so you won't get lost and it is the shortest hike to the hot springs.

An excellent retreat
It is a very frictionless experience to get set up and therapeutic once you set up camp. The spots are far away from each other so you can really relax. The 2 mile hike down to the Hot Springs, complements the relaxation with adventure and delight.

Good but windy
1st: FOLLOW HER DIRECTIONS. They may be slower but they lead you to the right place as navigation is wrong sometimes. 2nd if you have a sedan or sporty car i don't recommend going as you have to drive around 7 miles of dirt road with frequent dips and sharp rocks. If you have an SUV or truck then you’re fine. The camp-spots are nice and clean theres also a small grass spot for chairs. The fire-pit is very nice. But you are very close to other campers so it may be hard to sleep. Lastly it was extremely windy when we came. (Early April) But otherwise a good experience.

Hot Springs Trailhead Campsites
Great spot with enough spaciousness to feel secluded/have your own experience and also meet other people camping if you want! The check in procedure was easy and informative, definitely a funky and great place to stay if you're hiking to the hot springs (which are absolutely incredible)

Uneasy but great views
Hosts made me feel uneasy. I spent most of my time exploring outside the hot springs because I was uncomfortable. I understand the upkeep but so many people around that I didn't know who to talk to about amenities and things. There were very beautiful views during sunset and sunrise time. Didn't really enjoy my time too much. Definitely will not be going back, but that's okay. I still will enjoy the memories. Stay safe at this camp.

Scam
First mistake was that we didn’t check the weather which is no reflection of the campsite itself. I’m not normally the one to write reviews but I feel that a couple things need to be addressed. First and foremost, do not book this campsite through this particular advertisement! The actual price to camp here is $20 that you pay someone by the entrance and I wasted almost $100 booking for 2 nights for 2 people. Someone is using the pictures of this site to make money. Another warning that did not particularly deter my partner and I but I’m sure would deter others is that you may come across the occasional nudist. We saw a man strutting bare ass naked across the campsite, so don’t bring your kids. You gotta be down for the free spirit living to deal with the accommodations for bathroom and showers which was a nasty smelling compostable toilet and 1 barely running shower in an open concept with very little privacy. Lastly, would not recommend buying the firewood available as it did not personally burn for very long despite our insistent tries to stoke it with lighter fluid. To each their own but I will not be returning.
