Each campsite is approximately one acre, and generously-distanced from neighboring campers. Amenities include its own fire ring with grilling grate and picnic table(s). The campsites are both cozy enough for 2 or spacious enough for large groups and can easily accommodate a mix of RVs, camper vans and tents. From June to October the 100+ area open meadow is filled with horses grazing and galloping about (please don't pet or feed!) A four-seasons destination, the Ranch has year-round experiences with warm summers and snowy winters. An excellent basecamp, within close proximity to the lake, ski slopes, Pinnacles, hiking/biking and off-roading trails. After a day filled with adventure or ultimate relaxation, be sure to enjoy the breath-taking sunsets over the meadow. The evenings blanket guests with a sea of stars. Toast up some s’mores and warm up some hot-coco over a beautiful, crackling campfire. Remember the s’mores and always follow the “Leave No Trace” principles. They count as one of the allowed vehicles per campsite and must adhere to the speed limit (10mph) and remain on established camp roads while on the property. They may not be driven from 8pm to 8am. Weekend Trip to Cold Creek Homestead

I loved camping here and they were amazing hosts!! We forgot coffee mugs and they brought us coffee mugs from their house. They have friendly dogs and chickens and all sorts of goods down by their house. The site is nothing to write home about, but large and spacious. The no fires rules makes a lot of sense given how dry it is here. The location is awesome, 15 minutes away from lake gregory which is great for trout fishing. (Pro tip use garlic power bait on a carolina rig) The site is about 30 minutes from arrowhead. 10/10 stay loved everything about it and can’t stress enough how kind the hosts were!! Would stay here again anytime.

My family and I booked a last minute stay here and the hosts were incredibly accommodating, despite short notice. They set up a campfire for us upon arrival and made us feel welcome. The site was spacious with plenty of room for a large tent. We appreciated the clean bathroom and beautiful outdoor shower. Would recommend.

Weekend Trip to Camp Durrwood

The property and the host were amazing! The camping area was beautiful and secluded, and was the perfect spot for a private get away with friends. There were 3 picnic tables and a big cleared area with a centralized fire pit. There were plenty of spaces for larger vehicles/RV’s, and also many level places to pitch tents. Hiking on the property, and listening to a huge variety of birdsong were my favorite parts. Numerous long and short hikes in the San Bernardino National Forest were just a few min drive away. The host was readily available for questions and always answered texts within a few min. The WIFI was an unexpected bonus and allowed us to keep tabs on the World Cup scores. :) Definitely coming back to Camp Durrwood!!
