4 nights at Camp Land Beyond Zion

We had a great stay at Shanti’s. The outdoor kitchen was lovely and our kids really enjoyed the rock wall. It was also nice to have some shady places to hang out in on the really hot days. The location was great as well with a creek hike nearby and a place to get spring water. It was a bit noisy being next to the road in an area with a lot of off roading vehicles, but I imagine the busy-ness of 4th of July added to that.

2 nights at Gypsy’s Cottage

The Gypsy cottage was uniquely decorated, thoughtfully stocked with all the necessities, and comfortably furnished for both us and our dogs. We loved our time there and are already planning a return trip.

1 night at Highland Grand Canyon Glamping

We loved staying at Highland. The hosts have really put so much effort into sharing the beautiful land they're on with others, including water and power. The showers were super clean and comfortable and the beds super clean and cozy as well. Keep in mind the temperature extremes - I think the tent heated up too quickly in the morning/early afternoon and it got very cold at night. Fortunately the tent has a heated mattress that kept us warm! Finally, try to book a stay during a cleared sky new moon night. You won't forget the sight of the Milky Way from here.

It was my second night solo camping in a tent, as a female. I found the other guests were friendly and excited by the hosts values/ inclusivity. I felt the setup was spacious, thoughtful, and comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed having a full kitchen and stove to cook dinner. WiFi was super fast. Pearl was nice and helpful. I stayed a second night because I felt safe by myself there. Pearl is from the area and visits daily and lives a couple miles down the road and said the area is safe. Also, the site is not visible from the road, and there are security cameras on site. Some dog barking and road noise at night but I would definitely stay there again.

I loved camping here - the space was impeccably clean, organized and creative. My entire family loved the way the space and feel of the campground was welcoming, The host was SOOOOO helpful and kind. We really needed a place to relax and this was it, without any worries. I am already dreaming of taking my family back.

Such a wonderful stay! all the reviews about how amazing the showers are, are true! they have a clubhouse with a kitchen and tv with so many movie options and a bunch of picnic tables out front where we cooked our meals. Our first night was super windy so we couldn’t pitch our tent and we ended up booking a hotel room and we were devastated that it cut our time there. I definitely recommend this spot!

We had the best experience here and our tents were small and fit well, the host was amazing, helpful, kind and went out of her way. It really had an inclusive atmosphere and we felt right at home.

3 nights at Camp Land Beyond Zion

My 13 year old daughter and I stayed at the campsite, in The Nest tiny home, as part of a multi-day mother daughter adventure. Shanti and her team have clearly put a lot of thought and care into the entire site - both the functionality, how it fits into the desert environment, and their commitment to community - both local and guests. Both The Nest and the broader campsite are well equipped, with beautiful surrounding views. A hot tub soak under a full desert moon is a magical way to end a day! Easy to find, thanks to clear directions. Responsive host fielded questions leading up to and during our visit. Would definitely return and recommend to others!

This was a very nice kept camp site.. Mary was very helpful and kind.. Great clubhouse and sitting areas with fire pits.. and a playground for little kids.. I felt very safe and would recommend this campsite. Each site comes with a fire pit, nice picnic table and a level site to set up your tent..

Weekend Trip to Gypsy’s Cottage

Russell is gypsy king! The home is perfectly designed and so thoughtful. The bath is cozy and sweet and a sunset soak only adds to the magic of the property. Amazing stay, beautiful location, great host. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was super clean. We used the kitchen and shower. 2 on site toilets. Easy access to national and state parks. Great site for our large tent.
