Hi my name is Christina, your on-site host, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to host you at our one-of-a-kind glamping site! We're located 40 min from Kanab, 50 min from Zion National Park and 2 hours from Grand Canyon North Rim, Bryce Canyon National Park and Page, AZ. We're on 7 acres of land (all accomodations are on ~2 acres of the land) in a very rural town but please note, we do have neighbors on both sides- one of which have cows, roosters and horses. We have 3 glamping tents and 1 tiny cabin on-site (all of which are available for booking) along with a few shared spaces amongst guests: 2 covered grilling areas, a centralized fire pit and an indoor bathhouse. We are currently in the process of adding 2 more accommodations, a silo and a cave, that will be available by Summer 2024. Each glamping tent and cabin is about 30 yards apart from one another. We provide all linens and towels for guests, AC/Heater units and hot/cold water year-round. We're located at the border of Utah and Arizona in Cane Beds, AZ. It's a very isolated area with 2-3 dining options and a large full-sized grocery store (Bee's Marketplace) less than 10 minutes away! Cane Beds, Arizona has beautiful sandstone formations & attractions such as nearby Water Canyon Trailhead, Gooseberry Mesa and Maxwell Park. The terrain is very similar to Zion National Park. This region is especially known for hiking, mountain biking and ATV trails. We're also conveniently located 40 min from Kanab, which is a town full of trails and hikes with a ton of great stops on the way (Paria Townsite, The Toadstools, Wirepass to Buckskin Gulch, The Wave, Grand Staircase Escalante). We love sharing local hikes and secret spots so if you'd like tips on the area, send us a message!

Rest up in peace and quiet in this leafy, shady garden spot. Our place is an oasis in the desert and is admired by all visitors as the most lush, cool spot in Cane Beds. The surrounding vermillion cliffs match the adobe walls of this charming cottage. This unique cottage is a rare example of an earth dwelling. Built about 30 years ago with adobe red clay, sand and straw, it is modernized and recently renovated. You will see two examples of the application of the adobe method in this building. If you have pets you must add them under EXTRAS. We have it listed under EXPERIENCES and we charge $25 cleaning fee per visit. The way Hipcamp has us do this is not very well done, it's a bit clunky. But Just select one pet if you are staying shorter than a month, two pets if a month or longer. It is not a fee per pet, or per guest, it is per visit. So if you have two pets and are staying a week then select for only one pet. Just let us know how many pets (and what kind) to expect. Message us with any questions. Dogs will have to be on leash when outside since we have a number of cats and even though your dog may not chase them, the cats would certainly be a bit freaked out. Also it's possible that your pet could get out onto the road which has claimed several of my kitties. Please know if your dog will be OK watching the kitties through the windows or when outside. We are within reach of several National Parks and other scenic sights for a day trip, including North Rim Grand Canyon, ZION, Bryce, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State park, Pipe Spring National Monument, Grand Staircase Escalante National Reserve and on and on. All around is breathtaking beauty and many easy hikes and mind-blowing vistas just in the neighborhood! Just to note, there is only 1 bedroom with a queen bed. With notice we can bring in a camp bed, or you can set up your tent on the lawn for extra guests or children.

The place was amazing. We loved all the little details in the place, the quietness, being able to see the stars, and the sauna. Russell was attentive and caring in answering all our questions and a wonderful host. I look forward to coming back. I would highly recommend checking the place out. It’s close to many cool places.

Weekend Trip to Camp Land Beyond Zion

I loved tent camping here. I was traveling solo and it felt very safe and welcoming. I appreciate the details from the hand painted signs to the clear instructions. Jamie was at the camp and was so amazing. She took me on a local hike to see some petroglyphs! The bathrooms are clean and the shower is spacious. At night the property is lit thoughtfully so you can see the stars and see where you are going. It was a perfect jumping off point for Zion. I’ll be back.

We had such an amazing stay at this cottage. Very peaceful and comfortable, the outdoor shower/ bath was fabulous and a neighbor kitty kept us company outside. Thank you so much Russell!

Come camp out in our open field dispersed camping and chill in our community hammock.

I have been camping all of the u.s. and this was one of my favorite places. You are tucked away in the desert and you pull up to this beautiful inviting campsite. It had a full working kitchen with yes a gas stove and clean bathrooms and an outdoor shower! It was so relaxing and there are hammocks and a fire pit. For the price this is the best deal you’ll get where it is still camping But you don’t feel so remote. Also Tiffany and Jaime were the BEST host they were so hospitable and fun to have there. They both recommended great places to go and made me and my friend so relaxed and safe. Would recommend 12/10

We absolutely enjoyed our stay & wish we could have picked up Camp Land Beyond Zion & moved it to each place we traveled to. We loved not feeling rushed for a check-in time, as they were super flexible with our arrival. When we got there everyone made us feel so welcomed. This was the perfect mix of camping, but with basic necessities.

Amazing facilities and really nice sites. They are a little close together but luckily the camp wasn’t full so we had our space. The showers were better than my shower at home! Would highly recommend if you are looking for something near Zion NP.

10 out of 10 stay! Top shelf! I was traveling alone and sleeping in my van. I felt so safe here! View is awesome, hammocks to frolic, a hot tub with twinkle lights, a kitchen and shower outside but enclosed! Land beyond Zion hit so nice I had to stay twice while visiting Zion! Thank you so much for your hospitality! I’ll be back

I loved our stay and would definitely come back. The campgrounds were so well maintained and the facilities made everything so easy. The bathrooms and showers were clean, there was laundry room, and the kitchen had everything you’d need. There were hookups for RVs and campers, and all the tent areas had their own tables and fire grill. It was our first time staying at any campground so we were weren’t sure what to expect. But Jessi was so nice so we felt safe and comfortable right away. This experience was really enjoyable and we’re excited for our next adventure.

What a beautiful cottage with great character! This was such a unique spot with beautiful mountain views. It was close to so many cool spots, and Russell has a binder in the cottage with many of the options— we even found a spot we hadn’t known about to visit! (The Sand Caves— what a cool spot and a quick, easy hike). Russell was super communicative too :)

Weekend Trip to Gypsy’s Cottage

Gypsy’s cottage is more than just a place to rest your head, it’s an experience. It is so beautifully crafted and has all the amenities you would ever need and so much more! I never expected heat and warm water, and not to mention the sauna! what a delight in the winter temps! I loved looking at all the details taking it all in. The afternoon light gave it such a beautiful glow. I highly recommend a stay here! Easily one of the best Hipcamps I have experienced.
