We're located 40 min from Kanab, 50 min from Zion National Park and 2 hours from Grand Canyon North Rim, Bryce Canyon National Park and Page, AZ. We're on 7 acres of land (all accomodations are on ~2 acres of the land) in a very rural town but please note, we do have neighbors on both sides- one of which have cows, roosters and horses. We have 3 glamping tents and 1 tiny cabin on-site (all of which are available for booking) along with a few shared spaces amongst guests: 2 covered grilling areas, a centralized fire pit and an indoor bathhouse. We are currently in the process of adding 2 more accommodations, a silo and a cave, that will be available by Summer 2024. Each glamping tent and cabin is about 30 yards apart from one another. We provide all linens and towels for guests, AC/Heater units and hot/cold water year-round. We're located at the border of Utah and Arizona in Cane Beds, AZ. It's a very isolated area with 2-3 dining options and a large full-sized grocery store (Bee's Marketplace) less than 10 minutes away! Cane Beds, Arizona has beautiful sandstone formations & attractions such as nearby Water Canyon Trailhead, Gooseberry Mesa and Maxwell Park. The terrain is very similar to Zion National Park. This region is especially known for hiking, mountain biking and ATV trails. We're also conveniently located 40 min from Kanab, which is a town full of trails and hikes with a ton of great stops on the way (Paria Townsite, The Toadstools, Wirepass to Buckskin Gulch, The Wave, Grand Staircase Escalante). Rest up in peace and quiet in this leafy, shady garden spot. Our place is an oasis in the desert and is admired by all visitors as the most lush, cool spot in Cane Beds. The surrounding vermillion cliffs match the adobe walls of this charming cottage. This unique cottage is a rare example of an earth dwelling. Built about 30 years ago with adobe red clay, sand and straw, it is modernized and recently renovated. You will see two examples of the application of the adobe method in this building. If you have pets you must add them under EXTRAS. We have it listed under EXPERIENCES and we charge $25 cleaning fee per visit. The way Hipcamp has us do this is not very well done, it's a bit clunky. But Just select one pet if you are staying shorter than a month, two pets if a month or longer. It is not a fee per pet, or per guest, it is per visit. So if you have two pets and are staying a week then select for only one pet. Just let us know how many pets (and what kind) to expect. Message us with any questions. Dogs will have to be on leash when outside since we have a number of cats and even though your dog may not chase them, the cats would certainly be a bit freaked out. Also it's possible that your pet could get out onto the road which has claimed several of my kitties. Please know if your dog will be OK watching the kitties through the windows or when outside. We are within reach of several National Parks and other scenic sights for a day trip, including North Rim Grand Canyon, ZION, Bryce, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State park, Pipe Spring National Monument, Grand Staircase Escalante National Reserve and on and on. All around is breathtaking beauty and many easy hikes and mind-blowing vistas just in the neighborhood! Just to note, there is only 1 bedroom with a queen bed. With notice we can bring in a camp bed, or you can set up your tent on the lawn for extra guests or children.

This was our second visit, and you could see all the improvements made to what was already a great facility. Gil and Tiffany are terrific hosts, dedicated and fun to talk to. The camp is a great base for visits to Zion, Bryce, Coral Pink Sands, and a number of other destinations.

This was such a special trip for us, and I’m so happy we found this place! One of the most important things for me when traveling is being able to bring my three dogs. They’re family, and leaving them behind is never something I want to do. One of my dogs, Luna, was diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year. She used to love hiking and exploring with us, and after months of treatment, we finally got the amazing news that her tumor was no longer visible. This was not only my birthday trip, but also a very special one for Luna. Being able to have her there with us, along with our other two dogs, meant more to me than I can explain. I’m incredibly grateful we found a place that welcomed all three of them. The place itself was wonderful! After spending long days hiking and exploring, having a comfortable bed, a clean restroom, and a hot shower was amazing. I especially loved that there were both indoor and outdoor showers! Having a little store nearby where we could grab essentials without worrying about driving somewhere else was also really convenient. And of course, being able to enjoy a campfire at night was the perfect way to end the day. Not every place allows that, and it’s one of my favorite parts of camping. The location was another huge plus! We used it as our home base for exploring Zion, where I got to hike Angels Landing, and we also visited Bryce Canyon and took the dogs hiking in the surrounding area. Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park was another highlight, especially because we could bring the dogs along. I also absolutely loved exploring the little town! Whenever I travel, I enjoy discovering local coffee shops, and I found a great one here. We took the dogs to the local park and spent some time just enjoying the town itself. It was such a charming area, and I’m glad we got to experience more than just the national parks. We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually tried to extend it for a few more days, but unfortunately, it was already booked! That probably says enough about how much we loved it. Since we’re only a few hours away in Las Vegas, I can definitely see us coming back for a shorter getaway, just to relax, explore the area, sit around a campfire, and enjoy some quality time with our dogs. This trip will always have a special place in my heart, especially because of Luna. Thank you for giving us a place where our whole family could be together and make these memories. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially those traveling with their four-legged family members! 💚

My friend Tanya and I had a great experience at Camp Land Beyond Zion! We stayed there twice, once at the start of our ten day trip and again at the end. Tiffany and Gil could not have been more accommodating or more helpful. They bent over backwards to to help us with a potentially trip-ending electrical issue with our camper van, and provided the warmest of welcomes. We very much enjoyed the clean and thoughtfully managed hot shower, hot tub and kitchen facilities. A great place to land!!

My Wife and I went here on our Honeymoon and had an unforgettable experience the views at night are like peering into the Heavens and the views in the day of the Canyon are amazing. Everything was kept very clean and the service was exceptional! The caretaker was very friendly we ended up chatting with him for a long time. Forewarning the main office and kitchen aren’t open till about 10 am Arizona time but your phone may switch between Arizona and Utah time automatically. Other than that we had a truly unforgettable experience and would love to return somewhere down the line.

You get to be out in nature while still having the essentials, and the people are phenomenal—so welcoming and kind. My advice: stay here and make Zion a day trip. It’s absolutely worth it! Go explore Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, too, and give yourself a few extra days to just camp, relax, and enjoy being here. This place deserves more than a quick overnight!

8 nights at Gypsy’s Cottage

Great little spot for adventures in the area. Very private and quiet (though occasional barking dogs and mooing cows!). Indoor plumbing was a pleasant surprise and kitchen supplies were awesome. Sleeping in the loft was an interesting touch though didn't love having to negotiate the ladder in the middle of the night. Russell was super helpful and tips to enter Zion from the east side were spot on. Each day I went there (and a day in Bryce) started off so nice driving through the Cane Beds, no traffic, great view.

Tiffany was there to meet us right when we drove in. Her energy is infectious and we had some great conversations. Our dog Barkley loved roaming around the property. Tiffany and Gil will definitely be building a very special community of adventurers as they continue to grow the property.

The cabin was incredible! So clean and such a great vibe. Directions were really detailed and great, but would 100% reccommend arriving before dark, as it will be easier to find the parking and cabin. Even though I arrived after dark, the directions were so clear, that I had no trouble. 100% would book again :)

Weekend Trip to Gypsy’s Cottage

Amazing place, we went in the late summer for our trip to Zion, an easy and very beautiful 1hr drive to the park. The owner takes great care of this cottage, everything we could need was ready including the calm and cozy vibes of the cabin. A great cooking set up for basic meals and nice bathroom. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
