Worked great for skiing big bear! Everybody else was spending hours to get up to the slopes - this spot allowed us to pop up quickly in the morning. Recommend!

Besides the tranquil, serene, quiet open nature, in a well kept, all to yourself sure... There's is HOT WATER!! OMG! Whaaat? Yep. Not only do you have a cold water hook-up there is a hot water spiquet, as well. So bring a connector two connect the could and got and find a perfect bathing temperature for your bath or shower and give your propane a break. Very cool, nice touch I have not seen any where else. Having hot water on tap, literally was SO wonderful. Especially cuz it is Uber could at night right now and the mountain close in front of us had lightly snowed it was picturesque! Grant was an absent, yet present host. Perfect. He was there at the send of a text. Responded quickly and have you all the privacy you're looking for , to have interrupted time spent at this inviting place. We booked two nights then three nights then for. In a row. Lol had to cancel the last two nights cuz of unexpected happenings. Grant lead me to the cancellation. Thank you all Grant and Hipcamp for a wonderful experience. -Dani& Chris

Grant was great. Site very clean and maintained. He wasn’t there but was 100% accessible for questions or problems. Hot but what do you expect in August/September in the desert….

Area was beautiful and the stars were super bright. Grant was very accommodating when we were arriving later than expected due to traffic. Really made the trip.

Easy to find, peaceful, quiet, nice sunset, good intermediate point between Joshua Tree and Ventura. Host Grant was very responsive, only needs to let campers know that hook-ups are behind the barn.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, remote site with all the amenities then this place is it. From the gorgeous mountain views to the desert floor with its warm charm, this spot has it all. Close to great hiking trails, the iconic 247 Cafe and many spots in between you really can’t beat it. We absolutely loved every second here and our host was super accessible for questions etc… We felt safe and would definitely recommend it to you whether you are just stopping by or looking for something that gives you easy access to the area’s beautiful amenities.

This place was great, super easy to find, they helped me out with some firewood, and I tent camped for one night. Plenty of room to turn around your rig and plenty of peace & quiet. It was beautiful out there and Grant checked on me before I landed to make sure I knew what I needed to know.
