Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We purchased this land as a campsite for family outings. We have 2 kids and 2 dogs that love running through the aspens, cedars, and pines. There are 2 stocked fishing ponds in the neighborhood you're welcome to use. (Stocked in June usually). Fire pit onsite as long asthe county doesn't have any fire restrictions. You're welcome to drive onto the property to unload your camp gear but please park on the cul-de-sac. Enjoy!Awesome views surrounded by aspen, cedar and pine trees in The Buffalo community near Como, Colorado.  Come see the changing leaves! 35 minutes from the famed Dream Stream!  20 minutes from Fairplay and Hartsel.   Set up your tent in the designated tent spot or choose where you want on the property! Amazing view of the sunrise right from your tent. Quiet spot at the end of a cul-de-sac. Fire pit and wood on-site (fires only if county is allowing). Access to a stocked trout pond included!

This campground offers a serene retreat nestled among aspen trees, providing a sense of seclusion despite nearby cabins. Campers appreciate the well-maintained facilities, including a fire pit and picnic table, along with the stunning views of the mountains and stars. While most experiences are peaceful, occasional noise from nearby properties has been noted. The site is easily accessible, but be mindful of the road conditions if you're in a low-clearance vehicle.

This place was awesome! We loved seeing the changing colors without all the people and sleeping under the stars. The location was perfect. Beautiful drive. Beautiful sunrise! Our dog loved it. Was clean and well maintained. We will be back!

Beautiful camp site in the trees. We loved the shade and privacy. There are properties nearby but when we were there it didn't seem like anyone else was visiting at the same time. Easy to get to and great communication. Thanks!

Easy to find and felt very secluded despite a couple of other cabins being close by. Good layout for tents and a nice fire pit / picnic table

Beautiful site full of aspens! We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for people looking for a secluded spot without the hassle of searching for a dispersed site. There’s a tiny house close by but the site is secluded enough where it still feels very private. If you plan on leaving the site I would suggest downloading the site location offline since there’s no service around Jefferson. Makes it easy to find your way back to the site!
