Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Wake up looking across beautiful James Mark Jones State wildlife area with the majestic Sange de Cristo range miles off in the distance. Easy access to hiking and trails in the state wildlife area just minutes from your camp site. Several reservoirs(Spinney, 11 mile and Taryall) all within a 30 min drive. 15 minutes from FairPlay, this is 5 acres of pristine mountain land with 360 degree views. Plenty of wildlife in the area and is an outdoorsman paradise. Easy drive from from the metro area and no need to fight the I-70 traffic. Do you hear that……the mountains are calling!Views for miles! This is a secluded campsite in South Park which overlooks the James Mark Jones State Wildlife Area. Plenty of access to nearby, reservoirs, trails, and mountains. Quiet and secluded natural lot. No hookups or amenities, just you and nature. Easy drive from Denver and FairPlay is only 25 minutes away. This lot is 5acres and is staked at the corners. Please move about freely on the entire property but be do not trespass on other property of other landowners. Keep vehicles within the designated areas marked by white rocks. Thanks!

Very private spot with lovely views. Road was a bit washerboard but we just went slow and it was very peaceful and pleasant.

There are a few miles of washboard road to get to this camp, but so worth it for the privacy, peace and quite, solitude, and stars! Would come back here next time in the Fairplay area. Brock was a super-responsive host.
