We stayed for a weekend and we had so much fun staying at the Warner’s Teepee!
Our favorite parts of our stay: the dogs hanging with us (especially Willow), playing with the pig, watching the goats and chickens graze, and the peacocks walking right up to our site and hanging out with us. We loved walking around and having animals walk beside us. Sean and Ty were nice and made us feel welcome. The kitchen and outhouse definitely exceeded our expectations as well.
Something to keep in mind when you’re out there, not at fault at all of the hosts, but we did notice a lot of ticks around. Given that we are out in nature, there’s not much to be done with that. But I would recommend not letting the dogs come into the tent no matter how cute they are. We also used Apple Maps getting to the site, and the address led us right to the correct place. (we were worried we were going in the wrong direction at first, but if you’re using Apple Maps you should be good!)
Rory also was very knowledgeable and gave us a tour of the cat and bunny sanctuary. We 100% recommend this site for those who enjoy animals.

6 - Dancing Oaks Tent Spots
We had a lot of fun at this location. Directions were clear and it was easy to find. We were greeted by the camp hosts and even friendlier Dog who helped us set up camp. The tent spot was a little sloped but otherwise plenty of space to spread out. Our kids had a lot of fun with the animals. Goats, dogs, cats, bunnies, ducks, chickens and a pig! We loved experiencing farm life for the weekend.

Happy Hilltop Site
Sean was a wonderful host. The campground was clean and quite. The spot we got had the most beautiful view and we got to play with the dogs every morning when they'd come greet us while making their little rounds. It was so nice. The kitchen was nice and clean and the bathrooms were also nice. Plenty of hiking to do there and overall it was just a great experience. I hope to come back someday!

We had a wonderful time at Loomerland. The volunteers we lovely and let us help with feeding the animals. Very relaxing stay. The pups are so friendly and we will definitely be back!

The location of the farm is peaceful and surrounded by nature, which is perfect for someone looking to relax.
The tent was very cozy, clean, beautifully set up, we enjoyed hiking nearby trails and spending time with the friendly animals around the area, especially the dogs. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Lisa, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge in a beautiful setting.

Happy Hilltop Site
This was our second time at Loomerland and we absolutely love it, it's one of our favorite spots to camp. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgable, the whole property is very well maintained and there is always a friendly vibe. The animals are amazing! If you have an animal-loving kid, this is the best spot to camp! We'll be back soon!

This was our third time staying here and each time it seems a new and beautiful experience awaits us. First time- baby goats and piglets. Second time baby bunnies. And this time puppies!
It really is a magical little hidden gem in SD County and my kids and I love staying here. This time I also met the kind owners of whom I’m so grateful that they share their land so that others can enjoy.

If I could give a 7-star rating, I would!
Sean and his family are hands down the best hosts anyone could ask for. We were looking for a secluded, quiet area, and they went above and beyond to offer us a beautiful hidden spot that was absolutely perfect for my wife and our two boys. They even brought over a heavy table to make sure we were comfortable and checked in regularly to ensure everything was just right.
But the real stars of the stay were their incredible 8 mountain dogs! Our kids adored them, and they were not just friendly and playful, but also made us feel safe the entire time. At least three of them stayed with us 24/7, like loyal guardians. It was such a unique and heartwarming experience having them around.
We can't thank Sean and his family enough for the wonderful three days we spent there. It truly felt like a home away from home.
P.S. If you're planning your next camping trip, definitely ask Sean about "Melody's Hidden Gem"—a spot we named after my wife! :)

I believe the space in the world that people choose to occupy and share is a kind of reflection of their purpose and will, and Loomer Land is an oasis for the mind, body, and spirit. I found such peace and beauty in the simplicity of my stay there. At night the sky is a bowl full of stars, I loved the dogs who made me feel safe and guarded and during the day I had so much fun playing with the bunnies and goats and cats. I am looking forward to coming back with more of my family.

I went car camping (sleeping the back) at Loomerland and it was great! Very nice and quiet, and the farm staff were very welcoming! There’s plenty of cute animals, and farm dogs that protect you like you are part of the family. Do know that there is no phone signal here, but they do offer free WiFi in the communal area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and will certainly be back!

Such a magical place! I came for a women’s retreat and was greeted so warmly by the animals and the hosts. We parked our little camper by the ducks and the barn. I will cherish my found treasures of a lovely peacock feather and perfect pine cone! I can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much 💙

We loved it! It was perfect weather (mid September) and the animals and Zipline were so much fun for the kids. The people we met who work there were so nice! And the parents appreciated the glamping situation with the Teepee and amazing (very functional!) outdoor kitchen. We'll be back!

We had our first camping trip ever at Loomer Land and it was a hit! Lets just say my kids didnt want to go home, they asked if we could stay for a few more nights (we stayed for 2).
Between the farm animals that roam freely and provide hours of entertainment for the kids, flushable toilet, a closed-net kitchen with water, fridge, electricity, etc… and the playground by the owner’s house with a slack line, zip line, monkey bars, a swing, hammocks… you name it - there is so much to do and explore just on the property itself. Add to that the wonderful and friendly Ximena and Taylor that let the kids help with the animals and the garden and boom - you got yourself happy kids!

Pros:
-the outdoor kitchen was very handy and it was a nice spot to escape the heat and flies
-the variety of farm animals was fun
Cons:
-despite following instructions, no one came to meet us at the gate. And after driving for almost 3 hours with 4 kids under 8 years of age we were very eager to get out of our car. So that was frustrating. After deciding to venture in on our own.. we weren't really greeted by anyone until after tracking someone down.
-the flies. I understand its to be expected.. but I honestly didn't see more than a handful of fly traps. I feel like more could be done to help combat it as it was insanely difficult to relax anywhere outside.
-the animal stalls need some TLC.
-the noise at night. I also understand that the dogs are there to protect the animals and its their job to bark. But oh my goodness.. the amount of barking made it impossible to sleep.
-the teepee we slept in was insanely musty and I would be shocked if the black marks on some of the areas weren't mold (perhaps all the rain this year wasn't kind to this material?). And there were bugs all over the futon. I think a mattress cover placed on the futon in between guests would be helpful.
We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but decided to leave the evening of the 2nd night as we didn't feel it would be worth another sleepless night. I understand "glamping" doesn't mean everything is going to be comfy and perfect, but a little more effort could make this place a much better stay.

We had the best time! Sean and all the people that live and work in the property are so kind and wonderful.
Our kid did not want to leave, and next time wants to stay for 100 days! It's a beautiful land and all the animals are so happy and cared for.
We had a very relaxing weekend and our kid had a fun time.

Starry Night Site
We went with another family and found that there was plenty of space for all of us at the Starry Night site. This site is a little more remote (walk downhill and back up to toilet) which we actually loved. There was a crazy amount of wind the first night and this site does catch it all. Make sure you tie down your tent :-) The kids were in love with all the bunnies and want to come back as soon as possible!

My second time here. We stayed in Warner’s teepee and it was wonderful. There were several upgrades since we came last including a kitchen with so many amenities it made camping and cooking a breeze. There are several outhouses but they put in a new flushing toilet up near the barn and it really made a big difference. My kids enjoyed the zip line, visiting with the animals, and of course sitting by the fire and making smores. Highly recommend! Thank you Sean ☺️

What a wonderful experience. Lovely people. So kind and helpful. They even gave my daughter a heart locket neckless. The tent was very comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the animals. The eggs were awesome. Definitely will be back.

Happy Hilltop Site
The hilltop site felt amazingly private and secluded from the rest of the farm and the views were absolutely beautiful. As a trade off it’s a bit of a walk to the bathrooms and back, but worth it. It’s super windy up there and fire/cooking seemed like it would be difficult so we ended up cooking everything down in the farm kitchen which was very well equipped.
The lovely, giant fluffy livestock protection dogs slept outside our tent all night so we felt completely safe. We also fell completely in love with the cat and still miss her ever since we left.
Hope to be back again someday!

Really enjoyed camping here, my group had a great time. We camp all over without any of the services offered here, so we know how to adjust to different set ups. This location has excellent potable water, showers, a well stocked cooking/eating facility, bbq's and a clean outhouse with solar lighting all over. No power or signal, so try to bring your group all at once. They are working on starlink for the camp sites. TBH we enjoy disconnecting, that's what camp is all about. Staff were friendly and available to answer questions and assist. Host/owner was not there until our last day, but his friends/staff were onsite to welcome us in, showed us the site and spoke about the amenities and history of the place. They then made frequent return trips tp our camp to check on us, a bit too frequent as we were seeking solitude. They also came thru our camp early morning and took some pictures, we assume for the website or fire control. Overall, we were alone. The showers need some attention, I had to connect the water supply and the water heater did not work, and one shower was completely unusable. That stuff should be ready to go when campers arrive, with clear instructions for use, especially at $75 per night. Happy Hilltop site was clean, had great views and a firepit and can hold up to 4 vehicles and 4-8 campers. Bring tables/chairs/shade. Local hiking and biking is excellent and access was easy. 6 big friendly dogs will be in your camp, so be prepared if you're not a dog person.
