Our land is 5 wooded acres in pinon / juniper forest. Features include: many walking paths all around the land, lookout point with picnic table for sunset viewing, spectacular starry skies, night time enchanted forest, and an outdoor shower. Historic Virginia City is a 7 mile drive. Downtown Reno is 24 miles away.The camp site is in a secluded location out of site of the main house on a hill top, just outside of main fenced area. Views are to the north, east and south. The property is 5 acres overall with walking paths throughout. The property itself is in a rural neighborhood. A propane fire pit is provided at a designated location by the house and hot tub. View sunsets from the lookout point with picnic table. The forest has dusk-time solar lights for enchanted forest feel! Gas grill available for use at the house as well. There are three hammocks located around the land. Historic Virginia City is a 15 minute drive away. Plenty of parking at the main house and walk 50 yards to the camp site. Toilet provided is a privacy tent with Luggable Lou.

Beautiful views; Wonderful hosts!!

Ted and Steven were AMAZING hosts. They have a thin slice of heaven up on top of that mountain. They were generous and kind and gave me a break from playing fetch with my dog by taking their turn. :-) And of course the views are spectacular. Highly recommend this location!

This was by far the best camping experience I’ve ever had!! It’s close to the house, but you feel so secluded and it’s peaceful/quiet. He hung up solar lights around so it felt magical and whimsical. The outdoor shower was an added bonus too! 15 mins from heart of Virginia city which was a cute historic spot. 10/10 recommend this place!!

Camping with Lookout

Beautiful location. We were able to park our car with roof top tent right at lookout point. Enjoyed beautiful sunset and sunrise from our tent. Highly recommend! Very nice hosts.

High desert dreaming

I can’t say enough wonder things about Ted and the spot he has created. So incredibly whimsical and full of amazing energy. The views are incredible. Outdoor shower at night with led lights was definitely a highlight after returning from a concert nearby. Truly there is so much love out into this place. Please go!

Beautiful property with everything you would need! Accommodating hosts that care about their land and it shows. Nice walking trails they made around the property. Good views all around and some wildlife! Highly recommend this Hipcamp and look forward to staying here again!

It’s a very nice get away on a beautiful property. Ted was so nice showing us around even though we got in so late. And the stars were out in full force. It a great tent getaway. If you like the pictures and concept you will definitely enjoy yourself! Check it out!

A great two days spent at your campsite. Loved it, loved it. Peaceful. Love the little lights and other decorations. For me difficult to find and even got lost and had a difficult turn around with the trailer. All that said - still love your place

Ted’s place is really lovely with several walking trails intimately illuminated after sundown. It’s not hard to tell how much thought and care went into this place. The views are great and even though you’re approximately 100 yards from the main house, you feel very secluded. Ted was more than accommodating and provided some additional amenities and was a very responsive and friendly host.

Ted and Steven are amazing hosts! We booked the site a little last minute. Ted was very communicative, even let us know the weather and gave us tips for our trip. We had such a wonderful time at their lovely garden/backyard, with great facilities and beautiful view. We were defiantly taken good care of and well rested for the night.

A spot fit for a fairy! Fabulous!

What a perfect little stop! My wife and I were driving to Vegas from Oregon and this was about a half way point. Totally worth it! All you need is a tent and whatever makes you comfortable. Ted and his partner were so sweet and accommodating. There was a fire ban at the time and they were nice enough to let us enjoy their propane fire pit along with the hot tub under the stars. Truly amazing! Not to mention the mushroom decor had you feeling like you were sleeping in your own fairy land.

Staying in Tedastevenastan was a little slice of heaven!! Ted was an amazing host! So accommodating! Wasn't like staying on someone's property at all....loved the trails lit by fairy lights, and use of hottub was a sweet touch! CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!
