My place is very unique if you are looking for a different place to stay other than an RV park. On the property you will find a huge garden out front that you are welcome to pick from. We also have over 50 trees on the property you are welcome to walk around and enjoy. If you find yourself in the duck coop or the chicken coop and find an egg you are welcome to enjoy it. We are a smoke/drug free site please be respectful of this rule and violators will be asked to leave without refund. Because we are a "working hobby farm" you will see some weeds and you may even see a project or two we are working on, feel free to join in but please be understanding that in order for us to improve things it will get little messy and can take time to complete. Also, please check the weather before you book, Vegas if very hot during the summer months, if your rig doesn't have AC you will not be comfortable as night temps can be easily over 100.

Heather’s camper was very cozy, a perfect size for one person or a couple. We stayed just one night so didn’t need to use most of the amenities but the camper had everything one would need. Personally a flushable toilet (NOT a compost toilet) was a big plus! The outdoor area is pretty spacious and private, open view towards the mountains. Highly recommend.

Everything from check in to check out was quick and easy. The hosts were very respectful and communicative. The most surprising part of our trip was how comfortable the bed was. Took my son on a quick over night trip and we had a great time!! Thanks for the hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp! The location is perfect: close enough to explore Las Vegas, while still being far away from the noise and crowds. It was the ideal place to relax after a busy day. The shared bathroom was exceptionally clean, and having access to a washing machine and dryer was a great bonus. The swimming pool was a highlight for our family — refreshing, very child-friendly, and a perfect way to cool down. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and generous. They gave us a tour of the vegetable garden, where we were allowed to pick fresh herbs. We also received fresh eggs and could pick delicious figs straight from the trees. The children loved the friendly dogs around the property. The hospitality went above and beyond: our host even offered the kids fresh watermelon and kindly helped us with the barbecue. Small gestures like these made our stay truly special. Please treat these hosts and this beautiful place with the respect it deserves, because this is a real hidden gem. We would happily come back!

Weekend Trip to Garden Oasis in the Heart of Vegas

My husband and I went through 11 states in 3 weeks and half pint was the best place we stayed. The couple that owned the place are wonderful. The bathroom with the washer and dryer was amazing after being in our pull trailer for weeks. The Cypress tree in the front is beautiful. Their little orchard with the ducks is fantastic. We appreciated the fresh fruits very much. We did leave a day early, but that was because it was 112 and we are not used to that heat. Having use of the pool was great and helped to cool us off. Also not having to pay $3 a load for laundry was truly a blessing. Over all, Half Pint is a fantastic, safe place to stay in a huge city. They are real close to the strip too. Having full hookups for our camper out in the middle of the desert was fantastic. I really liked the vibe of the small town. It looked a little rustic, but I like that, and the value is great! Oh, and the sunrise is amazing.

1 night at Rockin' N Ranch Buena Vista Valley

My young daughter and I enjoyed the stars and the firepit, that was prepared perfectly with enough kindling and wood for the evening. We arrived after dark and got lost - ended up in a rock quarry at one point. Tent site cost is for space needed- and the lower numbers are closest to the ranch, which we preferred. We had the opportunity to pet the horses and watch them feed in the morning, which my daughter enjoyed. They do inspiring work with the rescued horses. When we return, we will call ahead to get the scoop on possible enhanced amenities. And be sure to catch up with Morgan and Christine!

A life saving pool complete with 2 friendly, albeit slightly barky dogs… only because we brought our own. Loved the privacy. I would love to come again when it’s not 100 degrees at night. I was thankful for our A/C in the trailer.

Mostly for dog lovers. There are plenty of dogs on site. We didn’t mind because we brought two of our own. We brought our travel trailer and setup camp facing the pond. It was a serene setting with lots of wildlife ( birds, fish and toads). My only caveat would be to let the host Julie know ahead of time if you plan on using the restroom….. so the water may be turned on.

Weekend Trip to Model Farm

We absolutely loved our stay here, and the host was so sweet. Our 2 yr old loved the doggies and the surprise of baby toads by the pond. We saw northern lights, I could go on and on we will definitely stay again and for longer next time!
