The RV spaces are behind the Baker Fuel and RV gas station. All sites are back-in only and have full hook-ups: 30amp and 50 amp electricity, sewer and water. There is a public bathroom, shower and laundry facility next to the sites. RV Site 5 is closest to the bathroom and RV Site 1 is furthest away.
This camping part of the property offers five primitive campsites, situated in a natural, secluded area that was once a pond. Conveniently just south of the only gas station in town and behind the Great Basin Basecamp Airbnb, the sites are close to the highway but sit lower in elevation, providing privacy and shielding them from the road. Guests have access to a small building with clean restrooms, showers and one set of coin-operated laundry facilities for added convenience. Campsite #6 is closest to the restrooms, #10 is the furthest. No campfires as our fire danger is very high most of the year. There are water spigots at Site #6, between #7 and #8 and Site #10.
The Lehman Caves Visitor Center at Great Basin National Park is about 5 miles up the road on Highway 488.

Welcome to your peaceful, desert getaway. This little Retro Camper is only about 35 minutes from the Strip. The property is home to Joshua trees, desert mountain views, beautiful sunsets, and some of the best star gazing around.
The camper comes with a full kitchen, a refrigerator, microwave, and gas stove. Dishes and utensils are provided as well as bedding and towels. The bed is about a full size bed, maybe a bit smaller, cozy for two people to sleep in. The camper comes with two space heaters and extra blankets for the winter, an overhead air conditioning unit for the summer. The shower has cold water only and is an outdoor shower.

Havens Ranch is a 154 acres in the Humboldt river valley just 10 minutes outside of Winnemucca, NV. We have a small outdoor wedding venue, and only rent our spaces when we are not hosting an event. You are welcome to utilize the grounds and facilities, which include a beautifully landscaped lawn, historic buildings and modern plumed bathrooms. We also provide access to fresh well water and use of our large fire pits!
**Please note that our bathrooms are not insulated and so we winterize the plumbing the in the colder months and will instead be providing a porta-john. There will still be potable running water available at the spigot. **
The river is a short walk away, and our longhorn cattle will most likely be grazing in the adjacent field. We have incredible sunsets and a variety of wildlife living on the property. This is a great space to get away from the city for a weekend, or camp for a night on your way through town.
We have both a guest suite and several camping spaces available. It's a large property and we love to share it!
If you are looking for outdoor activities, we are just minutes away from the Winnemucca Dunes OHV area (also great for hiking!), Water Canyon rec site, the Bloody Shins mountain biking trail system, and about an hour away from the Paradise Valley rock climbing area. We are 10 minutes from Winnemucca, about half way between Reno and Elko.

Wide open desert with history. In the 1800s the area was prospected for lead and silver. It was also used as farmland decades ago, and now is infamous for it's world class night skies and Area 51 air force installation. Although you can see planes taking off towards the Nellis Bombing Range, or see jetfighter training exercises or even test flights, the US Government still hasn't acknowledged the existence of the facility... that you are not allowed to enter. This is also a UFO hotspot and required visiting for those that believe Earth may have visitors.
This land means a lot to a lot of different people. For some, it means peace from city life. For others, it is the perfect setting for reflection on your life. Many find it to be the kind of adventurous or challenging tent camping they've sought. You'd be foolish not to count yourself among those the photographers, amateur astronomers, or souls that enjoy the continental United States' "darkest skies" with the least amount of light pollution in this part of the world.
Some simply like camping and getting free air shows. Finally, if you enjoy UFO stories or stories of our men in black, there is an itinerary
for you here that nowhere else can provide. This area is on many "independent researchers" must-visit list.
If all that weren't enough, there is an indescribable feeling of bedding down for the night in this valley. Maybe 100% of people don't feel it, but so many past visitors who have spent the night near the Extraterrestrial Highway (the real name of Nevada State Route 395 that this land is accessible from)
can vouch for it.

Nous y sommes rester qu'une seule nuit mais on y serais resté plus longtemps tellement le site est bien.
Même si c'est près de la route, il y a tres peu de circulation, donc ce n'est pas dérangeant et on ne la voit pas.
La vue sur les montagnes d'un côté et l'horizon de l'autre est superbe.
Les installations sanitaires (douches et toilettes) étaient tres propre (et avec chauffage).
Notre site #10, avec les arbres et la rivière juste derrière etait intime. Les installations sont récentes, bien faites et des arbres sont nouvellement plantés.
On peu se rendre a pied aux restaurants (mexican ou grill) et magasin général pour alimentation de qualité ou un bon café.

This is the perfect little RV park. It was super clean, level and easy to access, the bathrooms were spotless. It was much better than we were expecting. Literally just minutes from the park entrance. It was easy to book, Janille kept in great communication. I would definitely recommend Baker RV and fuel.

We loved tent camping here! The price is unbeatable including flushing toilets, free showers, and a dumpster. Everything was super clean. These things can be awesome, but the real secret is the views! Don't fear this all being behind a gas station. It isn't sketchy, it's genius! You can't hear the road! My husband and I will be back one day for sure!

We parked for 3 nights here in our Class A motor home and tow car in May. It was the perfect spot to stay in a big rig while exploring Great Basin National Park. The communication with the host was excellent and made finding our spot easy. There was plenty of room to maneuver our rig when getting set up. It was level with full hookups and a beautiful view of the mountain range out our front window. Thanks for the great stay!

Yes, it's a gravel parking lot. BUT, it's a great gravel parking lot. The RV sites are located behind the only fuel station in Baker (diesel $6.10/gallon). The site was dead level. The utilities (P/W/S) all worked perfectly. This is a diamond stop in the middle of the desert and located immediately adjacent Great Basin National Park. There's one Visitor Center about a half mile from the campground and the Lehman Caves Visitor Center is located a few miles from the campground. The bathhouse has 2 shower/bathroom facilities. The laundry room has 1 washer and 1 dryer. There is a taco stand across the street and a small store about a block down the street. The reservation through Hip Camp was easy to make and, in my case, easy to change. This is a perfect stop if Great Basin is the purpose of your visit or just need a stopover.

The views from this campground were incredible! The tent sites are relatively close together, but they still feel private. I loved the rock outline around the parking space, it was very cute. The bathrooms were also very clean and spacious. Overall, this was a great stay while we visited Great Basin!
