Lahontan Shores Ranch is a 20-acre high desert retreat overlooking Lake Lahontan in Silver Springs, NV. The site offers panoramic views across open deserts and distant mountains. From this elevated perch, a private hiking trail winds down to the lake, where you can swim, kayak, fish, or just relax by the water. Nested within public land to the west and across the lake, this site offers a true sense of seclusion, tranquility, and connection to nature. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the water, then relax under a blanket of stars as the desert sky turns pitch black. In the morning, start your day outdoors, savoring your coffee as you take in the uninterrupted views and dramatic desert terrain. Ideal for tents, rooftop campers, and self-contained RVs, Lahontan Shores Ranch is a peaceful high desert hideaway for those seeking raw, rugged Nevada beauty. Please note: The property is located approximately 2 miles off Highway 50 and is accessed via a dirt road. A 4x4 vehicle is required for safe access, especially in wet conditions. There are no street lights, so we strongly recommend arriving during daylight hours. Parking Info: Spacious pull-in site with a compacted gravel pad. Easy parking for large RVs, trailers, and campervans. Plenty of room to maneuver and set up. This campsite was absolutely lovely. Directions were clear, we found the spot with no issues. It was a fun adventure getting in and the views were gorgeous. It felt private and safe. Beautiful starry skies at night and an incredible view of a storm in the next town over kept us entertained until bedtime. Would recommend 10/10

The campsite is stunning! It’s beautifully setup with colorful Adirondack chairs, a hammock and a couch, and the view is gorgeous. I was there for just one night sleep, but I wish I had more time there. I wouldn’t mind spending a week and chill, hang out and work remotely from there. Highly recommend this Hipcamp.

This site was beautiful and I love the attention to detail - the table, chairs, etc were all such nice touches. The view is absolutely stunning. Keep in mind that the amazing view means that both the drive in and the wind are legit, so make sure you are properly equipped.

Very clean campsite with several seating areas. At the top level you have adirondack chairs, a picnic table + couch. On the second level you have another set of adirondack chairs. On the third level, there is a platform you can set your tent on since most of the ground in the site is gravel. The last level is the beach area down by the water, we didn't go this far but I'm sure it's nice and perhaps there also may be seating down there as well. The campsite is exposed, besides the beach area which had a few trees, so make sure to bring an umbrella/shade/awning. There was a consistent breeze which was nice and kept things relatively cool. You have the entire site to yourself so my dog got to explore off-leash, you can hike all the way down to the water but it is pretty steep. The gate and the camera pointed at the gate kept things safe. The small town of Silver Springs is nearby if you need gas, bathroom or want some good diner food make sure to checkout 4 Corners Coffee. Sunrise/sunset was divine!

We took our 22 ft. trailer to this site for one night. The host gave us great directions. Trust the directions, you will not be sorry. The site is beautiful, peaceful, and calm. A great place to relax. The chairs provided were clean, and a nice touch of whimsy in a gorgeous Sierra setting. We did not hike down to the lake, we stayed at the top and enjoyed the amazing views. Do not miss sunset, it just keeps giving. It was windy, but if you know this area you know the wind can blow and that is part of the charm.

This was such a lovely, unique, beautiful, and tranquil spot. We didn’t see anyone else the whole time we were there. We were greeted by a family of wild horses on our first morning. Such a great spot! We will be back!

Thank You Christina. Though I had an Adventure getting there, it was Well worth it. The View is Spectacular. I should have taken more Pictures. Peaceful and Quiet. And not many People. New to RVing, and Retirement, And gaining experience Driving my Tacoma and 16 ft Trailer, cause getting there Tested my Truck, my Trailer, And Me. It was an Adventure. And really not that bad. Thanks again Christina. And will certainly visit again.

We loved our stay at Christina's land. It was easy to find with the directions Christina sent us and the campsite set up was great. We were on a long road trip so this was the perfect spot to stop for the night before we continued on. The views were incredible - we lucked out in having amazing clouds during the day, a great sunset and beautiful star gazing at night, couldn't have asked for more! It was very private, we never saw anyone other than some kayakers passing by, but it also felt very safe. It got very windy at night so be prepared for that and the beach down at the lake is very rocky but a great place to explore. We'd definitely come again!

I went camping this weekend with a group of friends and we had a great time. Christina is very kind and was always attentive to any questions. The place is easy to find by following the directions and Google Maps. Once there, the view is amazing, and it’s also very easy to follow the hiking trail to the lake. We had an incredible experience!

The view at the site is amazing! The directions were a little unclear related to getting there but the owner was able to send additional directions with helped. The walk to the beach felt more like a hike downhill in gravel and big rocks. We went down as a family of 6 (age 8, 6, 1, and 7 months) and had the worse time getting back up, wheeww. It’s open range so there will be lots of cow or horse poop but we didn’t see any animals and the poop doesn’t smell. For the price though, it’s a great location to stay a night or two. It was a beautiful site to sit under the moonlight and connect with the land. Very enjoyable if you can move past some of the 1st world nuances.

Such a peaceful spot! The view over the lake was gorgeous, especially at sunset, and I loved how quiet it was at night. The dirt road was a little bumpy, but totally worth it. --- I'd definitely come back.
