Camping here is low activity experience as in there is hiking up in the National Forest or just hanging out in your camp site, or bring your camera, notebook and binoculars, or road bike.
When you come to camp here you are on a farm in transition. Girlfarm has been a local food go to for restaurants, farm family members, and regenerative agriculture interests. Today, the farm is looking forward to a new course in agri tourism as we begin planning walking gardens, art installations in the landscape, and interactive classes.

Welcome to your peaceful, desert getaway. This little Retro Camper is only about 35 minutes from the Strip. The property is home to Joshua trees, desert mountain views, beautiful sunsets, and some of the best star gazing around.
The camper comes with a full kitchen, a refrigerator, microwave, and gas stove. Dishes and utensils are provided as well as bedding and towels. The bed is about a full size bed, maybe a bit smaller, cozy for two people to sleep in. The camper comes with two space heaters and extra blankets for the winter, an overhead air conditioning unit for the summer. The shower has cold water only and is an outdoor shower.

Head across the street to the Pioneer Saloon for some great food and live music. Enjoy the beautiful scenery just outside of one of the biggest travel destinations in the USA!

Wide open desert with history. In the 1800s the area was prospected for lead and silver. It was also used as farmland decades ago, and now is infamous for it's world class night skies and Area 51 air force installation. Although you can see planes taking off towards the Nellis Bombing Range, or see jetfighter training exercises or even test flights, the US Government still hasn't acknowledged the existence of the facility... that you are not allowed to enter. This is also a UFO hotspot and required visiting for those that believe Earth may have visitors.
This land means a lot to a lot of different people. For some, it means peace from city life. For others, it is the perfect setting for reflection on your life. Many find it to be the kind of adventurous or challenging tent camping they've sought. You'd be foolish not to count yourself among those the photographers, amateur astronomers, or souls that enjoy the continental United States' "darkest skies" with the least amount of light pollution in this part of the world.
Some simply like camping and getting free air shows. Finally, if you enjoy UFO stories or stories of our men in black, there is an itinerary
for you here that nowhere else can provide. This area is on many "independent researchers" must-visit list.
If all that weren't enough, there is an indescribable feeling of bedding down for the night in this valley. Maybe 100% of people don't feel it, but so many past visitors who have spent the night near the Extraterrestrial Highway (the real name of Nevada State Route 395 that this land is accessible from)
can vouch for it.

Hidden away within the mountains, there’s so much to see and do.
Hike through the mountains and even down to Colorado River. Rent kayaks at the property to drive them down, a 7 min drive off the property. Book an off road tour around the mountains and down to the river. Check out the world famous ghost town a few minutes away and even goon an underground mine tour.
It’s pure bliss and joy. A reset, a rest.

This property is secluded and in a remote area with limited cell service. AT&T and Verizon have limited service, other carriers do not. This property is accessible by off road vehicle only, otherwise you may park your car in parking which is 4-7 minutes away from your tent by our shuttle. Off road vehicle means a 4x4 to drive over a rocky trail.
To access your tent, you will be required to schedule the shuttle for check in. A host will drive out to meet you to take you to your tent. Must be scheduled in advance. Check in is between 3pm and 9pm only. The host does not live on property and travels for your scheduled check in time.

Gardnerville Ranchos is a desert oasis located at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, twenty-five minutes from Lake Tahoe. Our property is biking distance from the East Fork Carson River.
The Ranchos is a small retirement community within walking distance of our local bowling alley where you can take (free) transit to Lake Tahoe, Carson City, and Reno. Carons Hot Springs and Wally's Hot Springs are both accessible via community (Dart) Transit as well.

This is a groovy little spot where the power lines meet. Located a block away from Treasure RV Park on Highway 160 just north of Pahrump, NV. You can visit Treasures just across the streetMark’s restaurant AAA+ food, gambling, and the bowling alley right across the street, and still return easily to this private lot. Treasures is a great little oasis to visit, and a short walk back to camp and have more privacy then staying directly on treasures site and avoiding vehicle age requirements.There are cactus ,sage, river rock and an old desert tortoise you might spot named Mort on the property. It’s a small plot of land but it will fit up to you a 45 foot bus or a truck and longer trailer. I have parked my 40’ school bus conversion there from time to time.the property is right outside of Pahrump in a convenient location with beautiful Mountain View’s. Treasures RV park is right across the street and makes for a perfect desert oasis near death Valley.

Located on a corner lot, you will have access to the main gravel paved streets, along with plenty of space to park and set up shop.
This land is surrounded by beautiful mountains and very peaceful. Though you will feel away from the city, you are less than 15 minute ride from various restaurants, museums & groceries stores and even a Home Depot for those unexpected things.
Have the ability to rest in a calm environment with the peace of mind that anything you need is minutes away.
There are very few surrounding neighbors.

What a magical place this was! Soo quiet and peaceful! Though we did hear a pack of coyotes, a herd of cows and saw 2 jackrabbits. The wooden picnic table and wooden chairs were very cozy too. We stopped at Planet X on the way out yoo which was super cool. Will be back again!

My husband and I and our two pit bull mixes had a blast! We had to come home a day early because our dogs were exhausted. So much open space to explore! The sunrises and sunsets were stunning! One thing we found out right before our trip was that Lake Lahontan was experiencing a toxic algae bloom and swimming was prohibited. We were super bummed, but….. it didn’t matter, we still had a great time. The walk to the lake is very cool, the walk back up was quite the workout! We will be returning for sure!!!

This is a very special spot if you love desert solitude under huge skies. Incredible stargazing, unbelievable sunrises and sunsets. Be sure to be fully self-contained and over prepared as this place is isolated (in the best way). The directions were easy to follow, I actually had cell service most of the time, and the parking area is level. There are free range cattle that hover around due to the spring - be aware if you’re bringing dogs. My dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will be back!

It is a rustic little lot in a small neighborhood nestled up next to the Ruby Mountains. There is water, sewer and electric, not much else other than a spectacular view. The sunrise is outstanding coming over the mountains. The night sky is to die for! It was barely even dark when we could see the Milky Way from horizon to horizon. Make sure to check with David about the locked gate.
