Rabbit Ears is located in Pleasant Valley at the base of the Ruby Mountains. Our property is about 2 miles from the turnoff to Lamoille Canyon and features amazing views of the Ruby range. The lot is entirely fenced so feel free to bring your well behaved 4 legged friends, just note that the neighbors have sheep so escape happy dogs may need some supervision. The site has water, electric, and sewer hookups if needed.This site is in the center of the property near the power pedestal, yard hydrant, and sewer hookups. It overlooks the pasture below the property and has a beautiful view of the Ruby Mountains. RV’s can easily pull in and situate their camp near the hookups. There is only one gate in and out but there is plenty of room to turn around within the property.

Beautiful views

20 ft campervan

The directions were clear and the site was easy to access. There are homes near by but plenty of space. We saw lots of deer and there was a beautiful sunrise. It was a good overnight stop on our long road trip.

David went absolutely above and beyond. We stayed at his spot for only a few hours, and due to a family emergency all the way in TN we were scrambling on what to do with our RV as we needed to get home as quickly as possible. David so graciously allowed us to leave our RV at his home in the middle of the night for a couple weeks and even cleaned out our fridge as we would be gone for a while. He absolutely saved us during our stay and I can NOT explain how appreciative we will always be for his hospitality. If he had not taken an extra step who knows what things would have looked like for us, and we are forever thankful. The spot itself was amazing, private and had great hookups with a great view. We would absolutely stay here again and hopefully we will get to continue our cross country trips in the future! Thanks again David for all you have done for us!!!

Excellent overnighter to explore the Lamoille Canyon. David was quick to reply and offer useful advice. He left us alone and provided a fabulous parking place with power and water. Views amazing. Loved it.

Great night on David’s land! Clear directions, easy hookups, clean and level site with amazing views of the Ruby Mountains. Safe and quiet. Short drive to Lamoille-Talbot Trailhead with lovely mountain views and riverside picnic areas. Will come again! Thanks

My sister and our dogs had a great stay on David’s land. It was very spacious and had gorgeous views. Having access to water while camping was a huge plus! The fencing was secure and we were able to let our 3 dogs run around freely. Only downside were all of the thorns and burrs, we had shoes for our dogs which helped.

Tent

We were pleased to find this site as our destination camp was full and the sun was setting. Site had soft dedicated tent spot, was quiet and had views of mountains, valley and sky. Having no toilet facilities and being in an open field we had to pack up and hit the road quickly in the morning. Site would be perfect for self-contained camping. Host David was helpful as we left in texting suggestions for local sites that might better suit our needs.
