The RV spaces are behind the Baker Fuel and RV gas station. All sites are back-in only and have full hook-ups: 30amp and 50 amp electricity, sewer and water. There is a public bathroom, shower and laundry facility next to the sites. RV Site 5 is closest to the bathroom and RV Site 1 is furthest away.
This camping part of the property offers five primitive campsites, situated in a natural, secluded area that was once a pond. Conveniently just south of the only gas station in town and behind the Great Basin Basecamp Airbnb, the sites are close to the highway but sit lower in elevation, providing privacy and shielding them from the road. Guests have access to a small building with clean restrooms, showers and one set of coin-operated laundry facilities for added convenience. Campsite #6 is closest to the restrooms, #10 is the furthest. No campfires as our fire danger is very high most of the year. There are water spigots at Site #6, between #7 and #8 and Site #10.
The Lehman Caves Visitor Center at Great Basin National Park is about 5 miles up the road on Highway 488.

Camping here is low activity experience as in there is hiking up in the National Forest or just hanging out in your camp site, or bring your camera, notebook and binoculars, or road bike.
When you come to camp here you are on a farm in transition. Girlfarm has been a local food go to for restaurants, farm family members, and regenerative agriculture interests. Today, the farm is looking forward to a new course in agri tourism as we begin planning walking gardens, art installations in the landscape, and interactive classes.

With the help of my Father Steve, Sandy Gibson built the House of Gibson in 1983/1984. We are on one acre with an orchard, trees, and a pond. My parents (Steve and Sandy) passed in 2021; We are currently busy with restoring the property.

The original owners of the property played a huge hand in the building of Vegas. As we have cleaned up the property treasures of a 100 years ago have been found all over the property. On the property you will find a huge garden out front that you are welcome to pick from. We also have over 50 trees on the property you are welcome to walk around and enjoy. If you find yourself in the duck coop or the chicken coop and find an egg you are welcome to enjoy it. Feel free to enjoy the pool, bbq and outside bathroom which has a shower, and full size washer and dryers. We are a smoke/drug free site please be respectful of this rule and violators will be asked to leave without refund. Because we are a "working hobby farm" you will see some weeds and you may even see a project or two we are working on, feel free to join in but please be understanding that in order for us to improve things it will get little messy and can take time to complete. Also, please check the weather before you book, Vegas if very hot during the summer months, if your rig doesn't have AC you will not be comfortable as night temps can be easily over 100.

Welcome to your peaceful, desert getaway. This little Retro Camper is only about 35 minutes from the Strip. The property is home to Joshua trees, desert mountain views, beautiful sunsets, and some of the best star gazing around.
The camper comes with a full kitchen, a refrigerator, microwave, and gas stove. Dishes and utensils are provided as well as bedding and towels. The bed is about a full size bed, maybe a bit smaller, cozy for two people to sleep in. The camper comes with two space heaters and extra blankets for the winter, an overhead air conditioning unit for the summer. The shower has cold water only and is an outdoor shower.

Wide open desert with history. In the 1800s the area was prospected for lead and silver. It was also used as farmland decades ago, and now is infamous for it's world class night skies and Area 51 air force installation. Although you can see planes taking off towards the Nellis Bombing Range, or see jetfighter training exercises or even test flights, the US Government still hasn't acknowledged the existence of the facility... that you are not allowed to enter. This is also a UFO hotspot and required visiting for those that believe Earth may have visitors.
This land means a lot to a lot of different people. For some, it means peace from city life. For others, it is the perfect setting for reflection on your life. Many find it to be the kind of adventurous or challenging tent camping they've sought. You'd be foolish not to count yourself among those the photographers, amateur astronomers, or souls that enjoy the continental United States' "darkest skies" with the least amount of light pollution in this part of the world.
Some simply like camping and getting free air shows. Finally, if you enjoy UFO stories or stories of our men in black, there is an itinerary
for you here that nowhere else can provide. This area is on many "independent researchers" must-visit list.
If all that weren't enough, there is an indescribable feeling of bedding down for the night in this valley. Maybe 100% of people don't feel it, but so many past visitors who have spent the night near the Extraterrestrial Highway (the real name of Nevada State Route 395 that this land is accessible from)
can vouch for it.

The closest town for gas and food is Pahrump which is about 20 minutes away. My place is perfect if you want to get away from the city for a little bit, or if you are traveling the country in your RV, trailer, or tent. My place is very unique if you are looking for a different place to stay other than an RV park. Good vibes only. :)

Havens Ranch is a 154 acres in the Humboldt river valley just 10 minutes outside of Winnemucca, NV. We have a small outdoor wedding venue, and only rent our spaces when we are not hosting an event. You are welcome to utilize the grounds and facilities, which include a beautifully landscaped lawn, historic buildings and modern plumed bathrooms. We also provide access to fresh well water and use of our large fire pits!
**Please note that our bathrooms are not insulated and so we winterize the plumbing the in the colder months and will instead be providing a porta-john. There will still be potable running water available at the spigot. **
The river is a short walk away, and our longhorn cattle will most likely be grazing in the adjacent field. We have incredible sunsets and a variety of wildlife living on the property. This is a great space to get away from the city for a weekend, or camp for a night on your way through town.
We have both a guest suite and several camping spaces available. It's a large property and we love to share it!
If you are looking for outdoor activities, we are just minutes away from the Winnemucca Dunes OHV area (also great for hiking!), Water Canyon rec site, the Bloody Shins mountain biking trail system, and about an hour away from the Paradise Valley rock climbing area. We are 10 minutes from Winnemucca, about half way between Reno and Elko.

Our property sits on 2 acres in the heart of Las Vegas. It is one of the original homesteads of Las Vegas which we are trying to take back to a homestead. The original owners of the property played a huge hand in the building of Vegas. As we have cleaned up the property treasures of a 100 years ago have been found all over the property. On the property you will find a huge garden out front that you are welcome to pick from. We also have over 50 trees on the property you are welcome to walk around and enjoy. If you find yourself in the duck coop or the chicken coop and find an egg you are welcome to enjoy it. Feel free to enjoy the pool, bbq and outside bathroom which has a shower, and full size washer and dryers. We are a smoke/drug free site please be respectful of this rule and violators will be asked to leave without refund. Because we are a "working hobby farm" you will see some weeds and you may even see a project or two we are working on, feel free to join in but please be understanding that in order for us to improve things it will get little messy and can take time to complete. Also, please check the weather before you book, Vegas if very hot during the summer months, if your rig doesn't have AC you will not be comfortable as night temps can be easily over 100.

Welcome to your peaceful, desert getaway. This little Retro Camper is only about 35 minutes from the Strip. The property is home to Joshua trees, desert mountain views, beautiful sunsets, and some of the best star gazing around.
The camper comes with a full kitchen, a refrigerator, microwave, and gas stove. Dishes and utensils are provided as well as bedding and towels. The bed is about a full size bed, maybe a bit smaller, cozy for two people to sleep in. The camper comes with two space heaters and extra blankets for the winter, an overhead air conditioning unit for the summer. The shower has cold water only and is an outdoor shower.

Wide open desert with history. In the 1800s the area was prospected for lead and silver. It was also used as farmland decades ago, and now is infamous for it's world class night skies and Area 51 air force installation. Although you can see planes taking off towards the Nellis Bombing Range, or see jetfighter training exercises or even test flights, the US Government still hasn't acknowledged the existence of the facility... that you are not allowed to enter. This is also a UFO hotspot and required visiting for those that believe Earth may have visitors.
This land means a lot to a lot of different people. For some, it means peace from city life. For others, it is the perfect setting for reflection on your life. Many find it to be the kind of adventurous or challenging tent camping they've sought. You'd be foolish not to count yourself among those the photographers, amateur astronomers, or souls that enjoy the continental United States' "darkest skies" with the least amount of light pollution in this part of the world.
Some simply like camping and getting free air shows. Finally, if you enjoy UFO stories or stories of our men in black, there is an itinerary
for you here that nowhere else can provide. This area is on many "independent researchers" must-visit list.
If all that weren't enough, there is an indescribable feeling of bedding down for the night in this valley. Maybe 100% of people don't feel it, but so many past visitors who have spent the night near the Extraterrestrial Highway (the real name of Nevada State Route 395 that this land is accessible from)
can vouch for it.

The closest town for gas and food is Pahrump which is about 20 minutes away. My place is perfect if you want to get away from the city for a little bit, or if you are traveling the country in your RV, trailer, or tent. My place is very unique if you are looking for a different place to stay other than an RV park. Good vibes only. :)

Havens Ranch is a 154 acres in the Humboldt river valley just 10 minutes outside of Winnemucca, NV. We have a small outdoor wedding venue, and only rent our spaces when we are not hosting an event. You are welcome to utilize the grounds and facilities, which include a beautifully landscaped lawn, historic buildings and modern plumed bathrooms. We also provide access to fresh well water and use of our large fire pits!
**Please note that our bathrooms are not insulated and so we winterize the plumbing the in the colder months and will instead be providing a porta-john. There will still be potable running water available at the spigot. **
The river is a short walk away, and our longhorn cattle will most likely be grazing in the adjacent field. We have incredible sunsets and a variety of wildlife living on the property. This is a great space to get away from the city for a weekend, or camp for a night on your way through town.
We have both a guest suite and several camping spaces available. It's a large property and we love to share it!
If you are looking for outdoor activities, we are just minutes away from the Winnemucca Dunes OHV area (also great for hiking!), Water Canyon rec site, the Bloody Shins mountain biking trail system, and about an hour away from the Paradise Valley rock climbing area. We are 10 minutes from Winnemucca, about half way between Reno and Elko.

Being as GBNP is far and away it was naturally quiet. The tent sites were in a lower area which acted as a barrier from the stronger winds. Super convenient to have showers and bathrooms. And they were clean too.

Excellent amenities: bath, shower, laundry were much appreciated. Proximity to Great Basin NP can't be beat. I had the tent area all to myself. It was a little tight fitting my tent between the brush. Improvements are apparently underway. I recommend Sandra's Tacos across the street. Overall I rate it excellent.

We stayed at this little 5 spot RV campground for a quick visit to Great Basin NP. This is a very simple property, but also very clean. No dirt just gravel but with full hookups and 50amp. We never used the full hookups on this short trip. Bathrooms were super clean and everything was quiet. We felt safe. Food is actually pretty good in town. Worth a stop

This is such a well done site! It’s truly functional and nicely appointed with landscaping and signage. When you read the description about being behind a gas station it may bring you pause but there is so little traffic there was literally no disturbance from noise. The bathrooms were clean and had shelves and a hook. The shower had Hot Water, not just warm water! The views are exquisite. I 100% recommend!!!

The retro camper was a perfect spot for a couple days getaway. We used it as a base camp for hiking and climbing. It was cozy and rustic and very cute. Just what you need and nothing more. The outside deck with the hammock and chairs was prefect for enjoying some fresh air and a little star gazing at night. It was just the right size for the two of us for a couple of nights. Goodsprings, NV was a cool find and we really enjoyed the Pioneer Saloon that is a short walk from the camper. We can def recommend this little RV.

I loved Baker completely and Janile was exceptionally responsive. It's a great spot, easy access to Great Basin National Park and the lovely Bristlecone Store surprisingly well stocked with used and new books, plus great ice cream and gelato. The camp showers, restrooms and laundry were great.

Climbed the mountain at night and got back to my car, my misery was extraordinary. Torturous even. My anxiety and cortisol spiked as I trudged down the path I climbed thru the night. Terrible, challenging, painful -- real. The only thing I truly was looking for on the journey. Doing what others do not dream of, taking pain onto oneself to make sure that something in this god awful power-washed day-to-day offers. My suffering was immaculate, just suggest 2pm check in time is god awful and really only there to keep people for more than one night.

This campground was well maintained and had all hookups needed. Shower was sparse yet clean and got the job done.
There is nothing in Baker so make sure you bring everything you need. Nearest city is about an hour drive each way. We went in the off season so not sure if any restaurants open later or are permanently closed. Either way plan ahead. Campsite is also only gas for like 60 miles too.
Was convenient to the national park and all that has to offer.
