Host was very quick to respond to messages. We met Tom Baker who's family lived in the area for generations. We learned a lot about Baker, NV and its history, very interesting. This is a very basic site but the owners are in the process of many improvements, new bathrooms, showers and laundry. Great base camp for visiting Great Basin National Park

Easy access to Great Basin National Park, big rig friendly, all new and clean laundry and bath house. Boondocking sites available, rooms available. It’s a great alternative to trying to fit in National Park campgrounds. Thanks Janelle.

Weekend Trip to Garden Oasis in the Heart of Vegas

This is a charming Hipcamp location that was highly recommended, and I can confidently say it did not disappoint! This unique farm/homestead is an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the owners, who are truly the heart and soul of this homestead. They took the time to give me a tour, sharing insights about the farm's history and their ongoing projects, which added a personal touch to my stay. Location-wise, being within the city made it easy to explore nearby attractions, yet once on the property, you feel miles away from urban life. It’s the best of both worlds! Overall, my stay at this Hipcamp location exceeded all expectations. The combination of amazing hosts, surroundings, and unique experiences makes it a must-visit for anyone. I can’t wait to return.

Weekend Trip to Water front on Topaz Lake

We had a sweet and easy Saturday night in April as the only people here. We had a wonderful waterfront spot and enjoy skipping rocks and watching the pink sunset on the snowy mountains. Friendly host. All sites radically level. Very clean bathroom. Clear lake used mainly as a fishing spot.

Weekend Trip to L.Davis Ranch and Olde LYFE Alpacas

Omg, the alpacas. Loved the fuzzy hosts so much. This is a beautiful spot, and would repeat. Word of warning: if you’re coming through in spring, be careful with the grassy field. We got stuck in the mud and were only able to get out after airing down tires. Host was helpful on resolving, and quick to support.

Watch when booking a standard site as there are 27 spots along the roadside approaching the guard gate where you’re Economy spots are. That being said, if you don’t mind road noise and are just here to go out of your camper, then perfect! Great amenities. Enough space. We did 4 nights, and the staff were great. Laundry room was clean!

Beautiful piece of land to set up camp and even more beautiful alpacas! We left this site with a new respect for alpacas, they were so personable and cute! Stacey was great at accommodating us and even letting us feed the alpacas.

This was a great spot to explore Valley of Fire. Site was private and quiet. The shower even though it looks rudimentary was awesome. Good pressure and hot. Host was very responsive.

1 night at Retro Camper with Mountain Views

We loved the entire experience! I would highly recommend this property to anyone. The property is a block away from the Pioneer Saloon, a great place to eat and grab a few drinks. At night, you can see the glow of Las Vegas beaming from behind the mountain behind the Pioneer Saloon. Heather, our host, bent over backwards to accommodate our last second reservation. She did a great job. We had a wonderful experience! We had a fire in the fire pit just off the deck that overlooks the Pioneer Saloon and glow of Las Vegas in the background. One of our three slept in the camper and two of us set up cots and slept on the deck under the stars. Can't wait to come back.

The perfect place for me and my dog, Ringo, to park our van. Private, quiet, safe and relaxing. The pool, outdoor shower and outdoor sink were added bonuses to my stay. The host couldn’t have been nicer. Convenient location and I will definitely stay here again if I am back in Vegas.

We had a series of unfortunate events, so we did not get to stay overnight. But! We were able to come by in the morning and we were greeting with so much hospitality. The spot is beautiful and the alpacas are sweet and adorable! We truly could feel the magic of the place with just a few hours spent there. We can’t wait to return and actually stay overnight!

Conveniently just south of the only gas station in town, the sites are close to the highway but sit lower in elevation, providing privacy and shielding them from the road. Guests have access to a small building with clean restrooms, showers and laundry facilities for added convenience. Campsite #1 is closest to the restrooms, #5 is the furthest. No fires as our fire danger is very high most of the year. The RV spaces are behind the Baker Fuel and RV gas station All sites are back-in only and have full hook-ups: 30 & 50 amp electricity, sewer and water. There is a public bathroom, shower and laundry facility next to the sites. RV Site 5 is closest to the bathroom and RV Site 1 is furthest away.

Havens Ranch is a 154 acres in the Humboldt river valley just 10 minutes outside of Winnemucca, NV. We have a small outdoor wedding venue, and only rent our spaces when we are not hosting an event. You are welcome to utilize the grounds and facilities, which include a beautifully landscaped lawn, historic buildings and modern plumed bathrooms. We also provide access to fresh well water and use of our large fire pits! **Please note that our bathrooms are not insulated and so we winterize the plumbing the in the colder months and will instead be providing a porta-john. There will still be potable running water available at the spigot. ** The river is a short walk away, and our longhorn cattle will most likely be grazing in the adjacent field. We have incredible sunsets and a variety of wildlife living on the property. This is a great space to get away from the city for a weekend, or camp for a night on your way through town. We have both a guest suite and several camping spaces available. It's a large property and we love to share it! If you are looking for outdoor activities, we are just minutes away from the Winnemucca Dunes OHV area (also great for hiking!), Water Canyon rec site, the Bloody Shins mountain biking trail system, and about an hour away from the Paradise Valley rock climbing area. We are 10 minutes from Winnemucca, about half way between Reno and Elko.

Welcome to your peaceful, desert getaway. This little Retro Camper is only about 35 minutes from the Strip. The property is home to Joshua trees, desert mountain views, beautiful sunsets, and some of the best star gazing around. The camper comes with a full kitchen, a refrigerator, microwave, and gas stove. Dishes and utensils are provided as well as bedding and towels. The bed is about a full size bed, maybe a bit smaller, cozy for two people to sleep in. The camper comes with two space heaters and extra blankets for the winter, an overhead air conditioning unit for the summer. The shower has cold water only and is an outdoor shower.
