Nestled on 30 acres of fields surrounded by trees, Rhett's Ranch is a sanctuary for those seeking solace and connection with nature. With three stalls and an indoor/outdoor concrete floor, the barn offers shelter and flexibility for a variety of activities, rain or shine. But Rhett's Ranch is more than just a venue—it's a place where memories are made and cherished. Visitors will encounter a menagerie of animals, from mini ponies and donkeys to goats, pigs, and cows. These furry friends serve as a reminder of Rhett's love for all creatures great and small, and they provide endless joy and companionship to those who visit the ranch. For those seeking privacy and tranquility, individual "bump outs" offer secluded spaces for camping and reflection. Tire climbing structures provide entertainment for the young and young at heart, while community horseshoe pits and cornhole boards offer opportunities for friendly competition and camaraderie. Above all, Rhett's Ranch is a place of peace and healing, where the beauty of the natural world serves as a balm for the soul. Unique Bay Front Camping

5 sites ¡ RVs6 acres ¡ Aberdeen, WA
PLEASE NO FIREWORKS ON SITE OR SURROUNDING AREA. We bought this land in 2017, there were 7 derelict mobile homes on the property. We cleaned up the area and remodeled the house next door and put in the 5 RV sites. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do, it is a one-of-a-kind beautiful, quiet place. All of our sites have full hook-ups (water, sewer, and power). The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Enjoy a peaceful beach with amazing sunsets. Whether you are surfing for the weekend or tuna-fishing, this is your go to spot - you will not be disappointed. Westport is 7 miles by car and the Westport Winery is only 5 miles. There is two nearby boat launches - one off of Elk River just 2 miles away and the other off of Johns River launch just 6 miles away. We are located in the middle of an outdoor paradise and want others to enjoy all it has to offer. ***If you have questions about how to add sites to your reservation or change dates, please reach out to HipCamp support. The best camping near Lewis and Clark National Historical Park guide

Overview

About

Live the expedition experience at Lewis and Clark National Historical Park. It stands where the Corps of Discovery spent the winter of 1805-1806. Today, you can explore the fort and grounds and imagine how these legendary explorers lived.

Your first stop? The replica of Fort Clatsop. The NPS constructed the fort based on drawings in Clark's original journals. Check out a bedroom and explore the parade grounds. If you come early, you can watch the raising of the 15-star flag.

The park excels at historic demonstrations. Watch rangers shoot a black powder musket, make candles, or tan a hide. If you're lucky, catch rangers boiling seawater down to salt—just as the expedition did. Things quiet down in the winter, but you can download an audio tour.

History buffs shouldn't miss the Netul Landing, where Lewis and Clark landed their canoes. Today, you can follow their route in a kayak or canoe. In the summer, rangers lead fantastic guided paddles. Would you rather hoof it? Head to the park's trails and pretend you're one of the explorers. For an in-depth experience, join a ranger-guided hike on the Netul Trail.

Nearby, you'll find RV and tent camping at Fort Stevens State Park and Cape Disappointment.
